  1. Phoenix780, I totally agree. I wish there were more people to talk about the episodes with. Up until this episode, I thought the twist was going to be that Joy was actually going to turn into the Annie Wilkes from MISERY, but now I guess it is the same Annie. She got f'd up from a young age.
  2. Well, Cheyenne Jackson was “Hooded Justice” in the previous episode, so maybe the cameos are on ongoing thing.
  3. His name is Brandon Quinn. I actually remembered him from this TV show from several years ago called "Against the Wall" - which had Andrew Walker as a recurring character. Apparently he was also the lead on "Big Wolf on Campus" - a Canadian TV show. I agree that I really liked his doctor character but he seemed to bounce back quickly with Kate.
  4. I knew I should have reread the graphic novel before watching this. Is the 7K misinterpretting Rorschach's journals? I thought I remembered he was a good guy. Is Alan Moore not credited at the end because he was vehemently opposed to this or something?
  5. Zachary did try to find the owner. They had died and didn't have any family to try to give the cat to. He tells the other fire fighters.
  6. Chiming in late to say that I never really noticed the blanding down of their leading men until now. Not only the comparison photos someone posted earlier, but I just realized the guy opposite Candace in her new Christmas movie is Tim Rozon, aka the uber sexy Doc Holliday on Syfy's "Wynonna Earp." He looks so milquetoast and cheesy, I don't know if I'll be able to take him seriously on WE again if I end up watching this movie. Also, was happy to find "The Nine Lives of Christmas" on TV last night. It's definitely in my top 3 TV Christmas movies. The chemistry between Kimberley and Brandon is so easy going and her character is really funny. I thought she was going to be a lead in a new movie after last year's "A Godwink Christmas" but it looks like she's playing sidekick to Erin Krakow in "Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen" this year. I really hope she, Ali Liebert and Brittany Bristow will star in more movies (although Ali seems to be more focused on directing now).
  7. I feel like the Tim tease was probably a last-minute rewrite. Since the premiere began minutes after the cliffhanger, they needed to be able to do a time-jump in order to write out Bishop's character. I really liked her so I'm disappointed and confused about everything that happened in real-life. I have a feeling Tim is either realizing he has feelings for Chen or thinks that Chen has feelings for him, so is trying to push her back to arms' length.
  8. I thought calling Holly an old buzzard was pretty hilarious. Didn't they say she was 28 on the show? I just checked the website and they have her as 31. She's still an old looking 31 year old. I say that as a 32 year old. But if I was her, I'd be pissed at how hard Pompous Douchebag was laughing.
  9. Dammit, why did Jessica and Alfie have to have so much chemistry?
  10. They're already casting it, so it probably will just be a year. They already announced Aya Cash has joined as another superhero.
  11. I can't believe this series premiered 2 days after the appeals verdict came out and I wasn't spoiled. The next time I feel sorry for myself, I'm going to think about this case and how much better I have it.
  12. I'm confused about Michaela's birth parents. I thought her father killed her mother and was therefore in jail. I would think that's all you need to know about said birth father. And no one should make Michaela feel guilty for not wanting to know who he is. From the way Connor and Oliver were reacting, I got the sense that Michaela and Gabriel were going to end up being related. Cut to them finally hooking up. I couldn't tell if Frank was still hung up on Laurel. I thought he was into Bonnie until he said something like, "I know we're never going to be together but Christopher is my boy." And then Bonnie's possible pregnancy seemed so random. For 5 minutes she thought she was pregnant, but she was actually feeling ill because of her continued guilt over Miller?
  13. If Jamie Chung is really gone, can Coby Bell be next? Jace needs to die already.
  14. I thought the head twitch is because Rabbit is in a straight jacket, so he's just being in character. I like that he's changed his voice in the two songs. I just started watching 2 days ago and I am a little bummed that I have other people's guesses in my head now, but not from here. From Youtube. So now I'm trying to lead my mom astray with her guesses. But she guessed Donny Osmond right away since she had his posters and records growing up.
  15. I might have been the only person who wanted Alex and Isobel together in the original, so I'm disappointed that he's gay and she's married. How did Max, Isobel and Michael stumble onto the magical properties of nail polish remover? That wasn't something I ever tried to drink as a child. I feel like Michael Trevino is going to be sidelined on this show too.
  16. I really wanted Flynn to get a happy ending and his death in the first hour bummed me out for the rest of the episode. I don't understand why he chose to stay in 2012. Because it was the only way to see his family again? Slowly dying of time travel sickness sounds tortuous. Also I'm not sure how reading the journal helped them get Rufus back. Wyatt figured out that Jessica needed to be removed from the timeline, but Flynn didn't hear that, right? He came up with that on his own?
  17. Regarding non-romantic Christmas movies, there is The Christmas Hope, starring Madeleine Stowe. However, it is so incredibly sad. You either have to have romance or death at Christmas, apparently.
  18. I ended up liking Reunited at Christmas, but thought it was so weird that I didn't find any chemistry between the leads until the ANGST came in - which is super odd considering Nikki Deloach and Mike Faiola played a married couple for 4 seasons on MTV's "Awkward." I actually wasn't even sure their characters were even a couple since all they did was hug until they got to her hometown. I also felt let down by A Godwink's Christmas. I wanted so much to like it since I really like Kimberley Sustad and for the life of me can't understand why it's taken 4 years for her to be the lead again in a Hallmark movie. Incidentally, The Nine Lives of Christmas is one of my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies. But I'm happy that someone said she's doing another movie with Paul Campbell. This one wasn't bad so much as boring. I'm disappointed that Ali Liebert doesn't seem to be doing a Christmas movie this year. I was so excited that she got to headline a movie last year after playing the best friend for so long, but I guess she's focusing on directing now based on her instagram??
  19. So would Nicky having bad eye sight not have excluded him from the draft?
  20. She told him that pre-disappearance. I thought he only couldn't remember what happened in the 11 days he was missing, but based on the scene with his mom talking about his 7th birthday, it sounds like he forgot things before then too. So he must not remember whatever bad things his father did to him since he was so concerned about his missing grave.
  21. Is this the first Britt Robertson show to see a second season (not starring BR)? I've always liked her although she always seems to be playing the same character. I wish they would have explored all of Sandra's backstory this season so we could move onto others' next year, but they've given her too much baggage. Wasn't the reason why she lived out of a suitcase because she was in fostercare? But then last episode we learned that she hates hospitals because her mother died. So what happened to her dad? At least she didn't have a love interest. I was confused by Kate. She wasn't admitting to any romantic feelings for Knox, was she? Is she so closed off that it embarassed her to admit she would miss her friend? I think Susannah Flood really does have the most chemistry with people. Especially Knox, who I think is a weak actor. Jay surprised me by being so funny. I hope we learn more about his family next season. And I hope they make Seth less milquetoast although I thought he was funny at the beginning muttering under his breath about Roger. I really liked him on "Younger" so the writing for him has disappointed me. Please be the end of Seth and Allison. They can grow more away from each other. Hopefully they up them to 13 episodes.
  22. Did they tell us that last season? I never got that feeling but if it's true, I'm glad. Is he still working for the Waterfords? How is he explaining away his absences?
  23. No, that was Judge Sewall. Hathorne was the guy with long black hair that was reading out the sentences.
  24. Yup, Flynn killed him. And I think the bullet went through him and hit Lucy? I thought Wyatt would have been worried about Lucy being hurt and maybe Jessica would have noticed something in their interaction, but I guess not. Am I the only one who got the vibe that Keynes and Emma are hooking up and trying to continue the family line that way? He's already written off Lucy and Carol has probably worn out her usefulness.
