You could argue she had blinders on, but the nature of those blinders shouldn't have precluded her from seeing that an established surgical practice that she has full knowledge of (she'd have to, as Head) wouldn't work in this situation. Come on, writers. I thought Lea made an interesting observation about who may have learned from whom in Shaun and Glassman's relationship.

I think it's precisely this lack of subtlety and nuance that makes me dislike the character. If the actress could be more realistic (like Hudson for example, as someone mentioned above), I don't think I'd hate her as much as I do. I actually found her quite charismatic. I liked the little nuance of Joel looking at the dead marigolds(?) and knowing something was seriously wrong. He knew Bill and Frank would never just let the flowers die. And because the writing and acting was so good, we knew that too.

Was that author watching the same show as me? I was crushed under that emotional weight.
