Thanks for explaining that. I realized that I can still be a little over-defensive. I'm hoping with more sobriety under my belt I won't feel the need to jump in and defend sober addicts all over the world :)

Speaking from personal experience (I am an opiate addict) this is generally behavior that comes from an addict who isn't in active sobriety. Please don't lump us all together :) He is such a Kim enabler and vice versa. Very annoying to listen to Kim go on about what a great guy he is when it's obvious he really isn't any different.

My question is this...Why even consider a second high risk pregnancy if these complications exist? Irresponsible, IMO. If you want more children Kim, hire a surrogate. It doesn't make you any less of a mother by doing it that way. Maybe less of a martyr but no less the child's mother.

Sorry to say that this won't even be close to a wake up for Leah. Why? She has to admit she's an addict to receive the help she needs and at this point she refuses to.

I was adopted by my Dad in 1972 after he became my Mom's second husband. When the adoption was finalized I was issued an amended birth certificate with only my adopted Dad's info in the paternity section. It is also a closed adoption and it is impossible to get my original BC and very difficult to get my amended one. Also~we were visited by a social worker who did a quick home study. Why do I feel that isn't happening in this case?

I was put on blast by a family court judge for accepting a job in the county next to mine. Long story short was that he (my ex) was trying and somewhat succeeding to make my life hell. Kail is lucky she had a judge that didn't sweat the small stuff. She may not always be that fortunate.
