Ugh, Amanda is awful. I never actually remember who she is until she starts yelling, I mean screeching, at someone else. And I still don't understand why if there is a tie, those 2 teams don't automatically go in?

This article came out a few days ago: https://www.bustle.com/p/tiffany-dereks-relationship-on-insecure-changes-the-narrative-for-black-couples-on-screen-according-to-amanda-seales-12058818

That was me. I just realized that we had never seen her, 9nly heard about her. And if Chad and Lawrence are such good friends, and Lawrence and Issa had been together for what, about 5 years, you'd think Issa and old girl would at least be friendly. She may very well be a big sister gorgeous one type and might be too much to deal with, especially since they already got a Tiffany. And Lol at "old dirty dick Lawrence"!
-
Issa has some willpower. I don't know if I could have looked into Nanceford's puppy dog eyes and then still walked away after that apology. But good on her for standing strong and needing some time to think on it. I loved that her birthday present was a showing of The Last Dragon. That is one of my favorite movies and I almost lost my damn mind when I got to meet Taimak (and take a picture with him) a couple years ago. I wonder how long Molly will stay at her firm. She either has to live up to/with her power moves, which means she'll be alienated by the others, or find another firm, who will most likely question why she's hopping from place to place so quickly. I was glad to see she reached out to Andrew to apologize (OMG that hair! I'm fanning myself over here), especially after making incorrect assumptions, again, about Jared. As soon as the guy game up, I knew she would jump back to her same shit; and low and behold, it's his brother. Jared was another nice one she let get away. Chad is still a dick....and Iove it! I'm not sure what his gf/fiance sees in him, though. Have we ever actually met her?

Because of all the shenanigans, I keep forgetting to mention that I love Trina's TWA. She's always looked amazing with short hairstyles. I'm over here still gasping that Iyanla said she couldn't believe that never give up is one of the family values since the parents "gave up" and got divorced. What in the hell? Their relationship was beyond toxic and if anything affected the kids it was probably living through all the infidelities and venom between to people who clearly didn't like or respect each other towards the end of that relationship. How is ending something like that giving up? Traci: I'm not hurt by not being included in the record deal. Me: And I am so here for the Ms. E vs Iyanla showdown. I was about to pause the show to make some popcorn.

She was excited because she has no fucking self-esteem.

I agree. So unnecessary. This show already had so much sexual trauma that raping grandma was just too much. She just could have been robbed and beat up, and it still would have been just as traumatic and able to push the story along. Damn, Simone's body in the morning after scene is goals. She looked amazing! Not excited about Brandy and Lance Gross being added as regulars. And I was really hoping that Jahil would be back in spirit form harassing everybody. Disappointed all around. The only I liked about this episode were the new songs.

LMAO! When they got the light skin and the light eyes, you gotta watch out. They just don't know how to act right! :-D Andrew and the teacher were both hot and nice! (I'm biased. I love a tall, handsome asian man - my friend said I was in heaven during Crazy Rich Asians.) . But Molly will always find something wrong with a nice guy. Andrew was great with her because he did call her on her shit AND saw her at her worst, and he still wanted to take a chance on her. She's not gonna find many like that, black or not. So great. I was dead because that shit's real. We know we all make bad, bad decisions when the dick is bomb.

Ryan Eggold has so taken on many of James Spader's/Raymond Reddington's mannerisms, such as the bird-like cocking his head to one side thing. It also made me miss Tom Keene (he was the only thing I liked about the Blacklist, until he actually fell in love with Liz because everyone is obsessed with her for some reason, </insert eyeroll>). Honestly, he is the only reason I decided to check it out because medical shows are not for me. But I like the diversity of the cast and I didn't find anyone super annoying and they spent most of the episode doing their jobs. I may gave it a couple more episodes. Thank you. I was about to write the same thing.

Screw Mason so hard. I was hoping he'd get killed. He's been a dummy since the beginning. They told him the Snell's were crazy and dangerous. He could have kept preaching on the water or left town with his wife. Instead, he antagonized those psychopaths, and then blamed everyone else. Yup, everyone has some culpability, but goddam, all he had to do was listen and take the threats seriously. That baby is adorable though.

I agree. The disclaimer from a few episodes ago also stated that all the ladies, including Toni and Ms. E decided to boycott filming. Yet, this episode, they worked hard to make it seem like Toni and Ms. E weren't involved at all. And since Starting Over (the TV show, which coincidentally enough is how Iyanla got her start), I have never believed a word that comes out of Towanda's mouth. I never doubt that she is absolutely full of shit, all of the time.

RHoNJ in the Media: Paparazzi Whore!

I caught a real quick glimpse of her during the First Look. That face is hard to miss. -
I didn't miss it ether. I saw the phone call and immediately thought, so does she actually know? But I agree with @SuburbanHangSuite and @LuvMyShows. Candice just seems in the dark about the relationship. I kind of expected than when she and Molly were standing alone, next to each other at the dinner party last season, that Candice would have said something like that, "Don't worry, we don't need to act weird around each other." And at the shower, there wasn't a passing look of acknowledgement between them. She didn't even seem to know that Dro and Molly are on the outs. I don't know, the whole thing seems off. And Dro's a dick. So unless they (the writers) tell us otherwise, I'm gonna assume she doesn't know.
-
I fifth the "Dro ain't shit!" And after seeing Candice's reaction, I'm back to thinking that he lied and she actually doesn't know. Although, I'm still chuckling about his "What the fuck is that" as he walks away while pointing to Tiffani's last photo. Oh Chad, Chad, Chad. He finally gets caught cheating and it's from the bachelor party. What a dick. And him crying because she broke it off in front of all his grandmas? Gold!

Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood - General Discussion

You took the words right out of my mouth! Lol! I was also shocked to hear the Brooke also has a kid. She's NEVER mentioned him before, at least that I remember Paris has some nerve to say she doesn't want to get involved with a law suit, when she was all up in their business, literally and figuratively, and starting getting in fights with them. How is that not being involved? That's the worse type of friend....will get you involved in all sorts of shit and when that shit hits the fan, they are nowhere to be found because they need to protect themselves. Ugh. -
I took also too it to mean that we, as a species finally succeeded in ending the world.
-
I'm still cracking up at Leslie's character yelling from off-screen for her assistant to "Come stick your finger down my throat so I can throw up," when they learned about the Stu Stew. LMAO! Me too. I got emotional at how real it all felt and then I started thinking, shit, this could actually happen at any moment right now!

S09.E07: You Say Goodbye, I Say Hello

To me, she loves like the vampire version of Kelly-like popular girl that would have appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, who Buffy would have made fun of for being stuck in the 90s. -
The following was taken from this article: https://www.marieclaire.com/culture/news/a13716/rupaul-drag-race-terms-to-know/ Jozea interrupted TJ to say, "The library is open." Reading is what you do once the library is open and shade is closely associated. Hope this helps! :-D

Basketball Wives LA - General Discussion
luckyroll3 replied to Peper81's topic in Basketball Wives LA
What in hell happened to CeCe during all that melee? She was with the group when they joined Jennifer, Evelyn, and Kristen, sitting towards the other end of the table. When the back and forth between Jen and Malaysia started, she was there watching. But when it escalated, she completely disappeared. She was nowhere to be seen and also wasn't there when the ladies walked back to the hotel and their smoke out on the roof. Am I crazy or did she disappear. Jennifer clearly doesn't understand how the game of chicken works. You don't actually dare people to reveal all when you, yourself, gave them ALL the damn ammo! I'm not sure if she's that dumb, or she was banking on the other ladies not wanting to get all the way down in the dirt and actually reveal the vile things she shared. Malaysia tossing that table reminded me of the very first episode of BBWLA, when she tossed one of the ladies aside to get at one of the Govan sisters, I think. Everyone was like, damn she's strong! Yeah, I believe it too. And I agree that Evelyn seemed like she had a pang of guilt for some of her choices while raising Shaniece. I must say though, the fact that she didn't toss Jennifer's sorry ass over that bridge shocked the hell out of me and showed that she has grown some. Could it be that therapy is actually working for her? -
Wow, Natalie sucks as a competitor almost as much as Derrick does. I am so confused about The Challenge. Why did the people who pulled the most bags have to eat the most plates???? I spent the entire time trying to figure out the logic behind that and have come up with nothing. Clearly, none of the Redemption House folks understand what a read is. They aren't supposed to be overtly mean and angry; they're actually supposed to be a bit funny. Shut up, Johnny!
-
Lol! For sure. They are in my top 10, but I fully admit that part of the reason I like them so much is the connection between the two stories and other stories in the King-verse.
-
I liked it, especially as we FINALLY got some damn answers. Although I enjoy this show, my biggest gripe is that I had no idea what the heck has been going on all season and the pace made it seem like we were never gonna find out. Also, the story reminded me of 2 of my top King books, Regulators and Desperation, which explore this idea of having the same characters who are actually different people (i.e. if they were both movies, there would be the same character names but played by completely different actors [and sometimes genders], in two different stories and settings, but essentially battling the same big evil.

This is exactly what I thought too! Great minds.... Especially when he watched her down her wine and then told Camilla he had something special "cooked up" for her. Also, that dude is psychotic.
