  1. They did. But then the backdoor pilot got picked up and she decided to do her own gap year/push back her start date.
  2. Great episode. Middle school is definitely the most terrifying 2-3 years of everyone's life. Perfect for a Halloween focus. I'm still cracking up at the one kid sitting in a corner in the front yard, curled into a ball and shaking, while everyone else is running from the house. LMAO! I also loved the call back to the always dangerous, "You up?" texts from Grownish. Junior out here growing into himself, with no job, scoring all the girls. Honestly, I had to google his age cause let's just say he was looking a little too good as Kilmonger......it made me feel dirty so I needed to confirm he was indeed legal.
  3. Heh! And that "soft spot" only lasts for as long as Natalie is only paying attention to him and voting the way he wants.
  4. This. I'd argue that Joss and Sylvia did the worse, because Sylvia took the flag without ever stepping onto the spinning contraption. Then when TJ yelled at her, she touched a foot on it and jumped back. She clearly broke the rules. Then again, she also clearly headbutted someone, which they've shown several times, and she wasn't kicked off, so what do I know? This too. As I heard rules, the teammates had to meet in the middle of thing and hand off the flag. I was very confused when Ashley didn't move far from the platform. Granted, I usually have trouble following the Teej on the rules of these things, but this one, I was like, OK, I understand how this is supposed to work. I definitely think the producers always play fast and loose with the rules to suit their outcome.
  5. Oooh, Boobie was on this week?!?! He is very hot and seems like such a sweetheart. I wasn't gonna watch this episode, but now I'll be tuning in. #shallow
  6. Quoted because I wanted to tell you that your reason for editing comment made me chuckle! Lol! Oh, and also because I agree with everything else you wrote.
  7. What happened with this actress? Did they just decide to get rid of the actress/character? Did she quit?
  8. Agreed with both of these. If he wasn't truly a dick, he would have apologized to Devin the next day and he wouldn't have kept making a joke out of the entire thing. But he doesn't care. And his confessional apology just rang so hollow for me. Also, Devin following Johnny through the house to annoy the fuck out of him didn't bother me, especially because this is usually Johnny's MO every single season, particularly when he's the top dog. And when Johnny does it, the person he's harassing is just expected to take it just because he's a vet and "Johnny Bananas". Just more evidence of him dishing it, but not being able to take it. And goddamn is Cory a fucking idiot. I felt bad for Devin viewing that video and realizing that although he wanted to assume good intentions of his partner given the situation, that Cory was totally responsible for what happened. And when is Tony gonna stop drinking. All this shit always happens because he acts like a complete belligerent dummy when he's drunk and then he interacts with all the other big dummies on this show.
  9. When he reached over and grabbed her phone, I thought he was getting access to her accounts. But I think he actually picked up his own phone to check in on Beck. She hasn't cared enough to ask him anything about himself. I also loved that it's his fault she isn't writing. Bitch, you weren't writing before he came into the picture.
  10. I agree. What he heard was that if he keeps being the doting, smothering boyfriend, he'll lose her. His only way to keep her interested is to back off a bit. And wow was she bitch this episode. I know Joe is a stalker and threw her a party she didn't want, but damn, she could have just picked up her phone to tell him that she would be late for "the dinner" or that she wasn't feeling up to it at all. And don't even get me started about the job at the bookstore. She thinks "flexible hours" means she can show up late to her shifts AND she leaves the register open in a city like NYC? Nah, just no.
  11. Exactly! He acts like he's mad because A1 doesn't want to be friends with/date him.
  12. He garbled, "Oh, so you didn't have my dick in your mouth?!" or some combination of those words. I don't believe him or his other troll friend, Rockstar. Rockstar, in particular, strikes me as someone who says lots of shit so he can be in the cool club. There's just something about him that creeps me out and rubs me the wrong way.
  13. Lmao! Oh man, that had me laughing for 20 minutes straight. I'm surprised they even let that comment on the air. It's sad when even the contestants can see through the producers' bullshit when it comes to Johnny. I hate Natalie, but I legit thought all of her appendages were gonna fly off.
  14. Me too. I thought it was unnecessarily mean. If they had leaned up against it accidentally despite Ham trying to stop them, and then everyone laughed as they left, that would have sat better me. So is this whole, "we're not breaking up, but we're just friends" thing a new young people thing? I'm old (just on the other side of 35 and probably shouldn't enjoy this show so much old, lol!), and am not always caught up with the ways of the young folk.
  15. The actor who plays Cyrus is 16 or 17. I think his age is catching up to him.
  16. Yeah. Cheyenne is his baby momma. They slept together during the season she was on The Challenge. He kept trying to convince her and she kept saying she had a boyfriend. But it looks like she gave in towards the end of the season, or just shortly after. And she never told him until they discovered the baby had a medical issue.
  17. Thank you! I couldn't figure out why the rest of the cast was all, "It was only x amount?!?!", like that someone makes the fact that she stole the money okay. Whatever amount it was, she took the credit card and used it without permission. End of story.

    S05.E03: Pride

Yes! Everything she wore this episode was slamming and fit her body well. It makes such a difference when effort is put into wardrobe for folks who aren't size 00.
  19. That's a great description of Nelson. His dumbness is the only reason I like him, cause I know he doesn't know any better. I always want to like Corey. He's so hot....until he opens his damn month. And then I got suckered into him again cause I saw the show with him and Cheyenne, and that gorgeous baby. And then he comes back on the show with the damn, "I deserve to win because I don't know how to use a condom" reasoning. Ugh. He needs to get on the same cliff as Tony and Brad.
  20. Ugh, I can't stand any of them. I certainly am NOT rooting for Johnny, but everyone is being so damn obnoxious, I can see why others might be compelled to do so. Oh man, I can see the return of the team competitions after this season, featuring the Lavender Ladies, Team Young Buck, Old School Folks who love/tolerate Johnny, Old School Folks who can't stand Johnny (captained by Wes), etc. Although I've wanted to see some level of the team competitions come back, given these assholes, it would be horrendous. If I were Marie, I would have selected Sylvia's ass for the Armageddon. She was grating my nerves the entire episode. Yes, Marie was fucking annoying, as usual, but would it have hurt Sylvia to have a 5 minute conversation with her instead of continuously blowing her off? That's supposed to be your friend. Ashley acts like I expect her to, like trash, especially considering that she always throws fits when she gets voted in. But I guess only she's allowed to do that.
  21. Are you using an eyelid primer? That will usually help with the muddiness/faded look and allow the actual colors to pop.
  22. She said something along the lines of only black guys are interested in/appreciative of her because they tend to like bigger women and curves, followed by, "Where the white guys at?" Not at all racist, but racist enough for the social media trolls to blow it out of proportion and cause her death by social media.
  23. Agreed. I think that the divorce was just the culmination of everything. It sounds like Daddy Braxton was spreading it low and wide for a good chunk of that marriage. And I just know that everybody up in that church was whispering about his dealings, and the children from young, were hearing bits and pieces of the rumors. So while the divorce happened when they were adults, they were all probably bearing the brunt of that drama, plus Ms E's poorly veiled venom towards her husband, since they were kids. Out of 1 to 10, Tamar is always at a 27. But I don't know, part of me always believes that she's much more sensitive and hurt than she likes to let on and she uses her antics and theatrics to cover that up.
  24. I'm interested in learning exactly just what the Hurricane Francis is, and if it's really so amazing that it can be used as a bribe. Inquiring minds would like to know!
  25. I'm still watching too! A lot of the drama this season has been crazy, but really stupid so I tend to forget about it. I agree, Brooke is a mess. And really unprofessional. I can see why she didn't make it past one single. I don't know what to think about Teairra Marie. I really like her, but she's coming across as so shady with all of this. And then there's the back and forth between her and Moniece on social media, but I don't ever believe anything Moniece says cause she lies a lot. She's the embodiment of the boy who cried wolf.
