  1. Sometimes she reminds me of Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly. I liked that they styled Tatiana to be high fashion by basically giving her pre-makeover hair back lol
  2. Thanks for that, he's my early favorite and has excelled so far. Can't wait to see him step up as manager. Also that confirmed they do see the other team's presentations in the boardroom:
  3. Oh okay, thanks. I was watching on OnDemand and it cut from Rebecca jumping up doing the squirrel pose to commercial so I missed it.
  4. The editing on this show needs a little tune-up. Like, how did India resolve her dress situation (it looked like she switched with Binta?) Or when they kept referring to Courtney's photos and never showing them again, even when they were gesturing towards the screen, so I had to rewind it myself to remember what the photos looked like. And none of the judges were really talking about the modeling, just how cool the photos are ("You look like the life of the party with so many friends!" "There's too many people in your photos.")
  5. Right now, I'd say he is on par with Martha Stewart's performance. I think he will find his own voice soon, like the part when he gave the women a look when they were talking over him and it just became crickets. I really hope they do, though, because it's still a little too similar to before where the contestants spend most of the time fawning over him and all the advisers do is go "It was a tough decision but you made the right choice."
  6. Maybe due to the fact that they had to cram everything into an hour. We also didn't see the women's team introducing their clip.
  7. One of the "coming up" segments had the Paper Magazine guy saying to someone, "The way I saw you behave on set made me believe less that you can be a model." Who did he say that to?? I agree they aren't doing too much mentoring of these girls. As much as I hated the word "smize" at least when she started saying that, Tyra was trying to give some tips to them. Telling them to slay and be a boss doesn't seem to offer much. Are they posting the final photos anywhere? And also, what are "online" and "video" models? Isn't it just "catalog"?
  8. Maybe he just figured that this was something weird they all agreed on and he wasn't sure, but wanted to make sure Jess didn't feel excluded anyway and planned his own thing. I love Robbie and Jess together, so that's just my take on it lol
  9. I liked how they showed the preview for next week's episode before they showed who was eliminated... Very telegraphed that it was going to be Justine this week. Still too many girls, too many "stories" right now. But I was impressed with quite a few of them this week. Are they putting up the show photos anywhere? I didn't get to see the last girl's photo too well.
  10. Man do I love this show. I think this is the episode we needed for awhile, an episode that really SHOWS the love between Miranda and Riggs so we better understand his state of mind and how it still haunts him all this time. Their first meeting was really cute.
  11. Yay congrats to Ryan, who I was rooting for since day 1. Hard to believe she's only been doing this for four years! And cherry on top: team Peck won! Even when Chris tried to nitpick both hers and Gian's tattoos. Deserving winner, period. Glad they threw out that report card nonsense at the end. Wanted to see Kelly's piece so bad. The idea of a Twitter vote didn't make sense--people were going to vote for their favorite artist no matter what the tattoo looked like (and you couldn't even really see them!) Also I thought Japanese was in Gian's wheelhouse which is why Kelly/Ryan/Gian were asking their fans online to vote for that for him as it was his strength. Why did Oliver think otherwise? Heard enough from Sketchy for a lifetime and I loved how awkward he was during the credits. No one wanted to talk to him (or Nate) so he pretty much started walking off the stage. And I loved Nikki's point: they weren't some nefarious alliance, they were actually FRIENDS. Glad everything turned out well for them. Not a terrible season. Surprised they didn't tease next season.
  12. Why the heck did they invite her onto the show and give her and her hateful ideas more exposure?! I've never heard of her before tonight and I wish I could still say that was the case.
  13. Oh you're right. Well hopefully Gian's tropical surroundings will give him some inspiration (not rooting for him to win, but still want to see some good tattoos).
  14. He has to add mermaids, so at least there's that. He could throw in some shellfish in there as well as a sea turtle.
  15. How come Ryan doesn't like color work? She seems pretty good at it (the application, at least). Nate should've been gone last episode, he whined so much this week. Excited (?!) for the finale next week. The live tattoo idea seems pretty cool.
  16. This episode cemented my preference for the more formulaic take on these episodes (historical event, Flynn messing it up, them dressing up and going back in time, fixing things and encountering the the historical figures with fun pop culture aliases, coming back and finding out how things have changed). It reminds me of those old '90s shows with Mysteries of the Week. Kind of wish Lucy had a stronger antagonist for her speech at the end instead of some guy asking her to get coffee.
  17. Oliver had some good one-liners tonight. Nate "I'm not gonna let someone who's been tattoing for 4 years tell me what to do" Beavers should've left with Sketchy a long time ago. It's quality, not quantity dude. I love how both Ryan and Nikki said Kelly was their own tattoo artist role model before the show and now they are friends. Unusually nice moments for this show.
  18. I thought I missed an episode or something lol This episode made me realize that I only really care about the parts where they're in history--the other stuff including all the Rittenhouse stuff is too bland for me. I tuned out whenever they went back to the lab.
  19. That baby was one of the things that hooked me onto this show. She was such a perfect little actress in that scene with Damon in the first episode and all the episodes since! I enjoyed this episode, I thought the guy who played the main cartel guy did a pretty darn good job. The DEA lady wasn't too bad, I'm glad it looks like they're avoiding the therapist-patient hookup. That's nice.
  20. Yes, along with one of the funniest send-offs: "Maybe mine won't look as good in a few months but Nikki's canvas will always have a tattoo of some poor unknown child."
  21. Next time Nikki should just give her skull pick to people who actually know what they're doing with it. Painful. The judging in this episode was B.S. (Nate's interpretation I thought was horrendous) but I don't know why I haven't started expecting that by now. Brick challenge was lame.
  22. I liked the "CHICKEN!" montage. Still angry that Gordon talked Matt out of quitting. Every time I see him on this show I just think "Why is this quitter still allowed to be here?"
