  1. I didn't like this episode but I can't put my finger on why. I didn't like either of the contestants that much. It's getting kind of suspicious how often the Day 20 Miracle Food Source is occurring. I look out for it now.
  2. I think I am more interested in the panel...would love Drew back as well, Law can come back because he did have some pretty funny one-liners, and I agree Stacey should replace Ashley, who was good at the beginning but became self-indulgent by the end.
  3. Interesting...where did Bobby Deen go? Also who is this new host? He was rather blah--as much as I didn't like Bobby, he did add a cringey-funny edge to the show. How come Food Network don't hire women hosts?
  4. I didn't understand why he didn't park the car in the garage if it was so precious.
  5. First off, that finale FAR surpassed my expectations. In every way. While I'm also disappointed we didn't get any go-sees or trips, I'm glad they did an extended runway challenge (though it didn't have a swinging wrecking ball or anything this time lol). I'm also glad they had a good final two (really thought they might have a multiple bottom-photo model in the finals) and I'm happy it seems that for the most part all the girls were good sports at the end. Manufactured or not, that panel was entertaining as heck. Drew was my favorite judge every week and I really liked the sense of legitimacy he brought to the show. I still remember the first episode he admitted that he was rooting for India lol Normally that favoritism would annoy me but I think it helped India come to the forefront. Congrats to India!! She was my favorite from the first episode and she seems so genuine. Looking forward to whatever this VH1 deal brings about. Overall, I enjoyed this cycle and know there was probably a lot more they didn't show (Drew mentioned on the FB live he brought the girls to a tarot card reading). After not watching the past few cycles as it became more America's Next Top Tyra, I enjoyed the refreshed nature of the show and glad it was revived.
  6. That was excellent. While the main plot was so-so, I really enjoyed all the character development we got from this. Every week I keep thinking something is going to happen to Trish. I like that this show doesn't take the most obvious route sometimes.
  7. In case anyone missed it, they did the live finale photoshoot with Tatiana, Courtney, India, and Paige on the ANTM Facebook. It was pretty interesting because Drew basically shows you how a real photoshoot goes without any editing and you get to see the girls (IMO my personal top 4) work their stuff. Wish they had more stuff like that in the season.
  8. Based on social media statistics she's pretty popular--she has almost 90k followers on Instagram vs say the 50k followers on Instagram Tatiana has. She has 2k followers on FB vs. the 1k followers Coryanne has. I liked the makeup challenge, that was fun.
  9. What. The. Heck. WHAT THE HECK. I'm really starting to think that Coryanne's mom has some secret dealings with this cycle. WHAT THE EFF. The only heartening thing is knowing that a lot of the "losers" from this show eventually go onto do great things. It's so weird, though, that all the social media things that the official ANTM account is doing are basically GIFs of India and Courtney so they KNOW that they are the two most popular models. Unfortunately this isn't shot live so it's going to be so frustrating if Coryanne wins, especially since she is consistently among the least popular models online (in terms of photo likes on the official Facebook page) and social media is what this cycle is supposed to be all about.
  10. I guess the fact that I don't know Stephanie Roberts but I do know Tyra Banks after all these years kind of illustrates the point of this cycle in that to become a supermodel nowadays, you have to have some sort of cult of personality (or "brand" as this cycle likes to call it). Sooooo happy for India, especially because of her wig situation. Also the judges didn't really like any of the videos so maybe the whole concept needed work. I wonder if the VH1 contract is for something scripted? Is that why they did the acting challenge? I love any kind of acting challenges on my reality shows lol
  11. Does Leo's bus ad at the end kind of suggest that he and Trish are married?? LOL Leo (and Trish) Getz.
  12. F'real. It's really off-putting and was one of the reasons I stopped watching this show two seasons ago (for the record, I shipped them hard until the show was basically shoving them down our throats).
  13. Every week...I'm still surprised Coryanne is still there. Drew was on fire today hahahaha. "You look elderly." The whole Rita Ora meeting was a big ball of "Uh..." Dayum, those twins sure have a very open relationship. I wonder if they share that much in real life. The girls in the bedroom were hilarious. "Ugh, Courtney is so annoying. India whispers after you talk. Man, I'm sure glad we are here with nice people instead of at Universal with those beeyotches." I look forward to India's photos every week. And wow, they finally brought up the whole Gigi thing :O
  14. I loved this episode, I still don't know how they manage to make it as action-packed as it is every week. It's the only show that makes me spontaneously yell out "I LOVE THIS SHOW!" during the episode haha. Why was Dr. Levinson so sketchy when he went to her house? RIP to him. Clayne Crawford could have chemistry with a plank of wood, he's that good. I thought it was interesting when she told him to act interested and he started stuttering saying, "Oh I'm interested" before she clarified. Where was Scorsese this week :(
  15. That was a good premiere except the Insider segment or whatever at the end was kind of a waste of time.
  16. I thought India's photo was sliiightly better than Tatiana's but when Tatiana was interviewed as saying it was her time to shine yadda yadda then I knew she would get top photo. Photos taken inside the jet definitely made things easier for the models. Funny how all the top photos were inside and all the bottom photos were of the stairs. What was up with Coryanne crying about how she loves her friends and loves how much she goes out and how perfect her life was?? Was it edited from a confessional where she was comparing her life with Courtney's? Taken out of context it was just odd.
  17. I really like the number of new challenges they are trying out this year, including the tableside challenge. Genius of Ryan to offer tequila.
  18. I wonder if it's because they were written while this show was still on the bubble so they didn't know how much they should develop anything in case they got cancelled? "Nap Like a Man" was enjoyable. Anything Darryl is enjoyable.
  19. This Instagram post is the first time I really saw Courtney's major potential as a high-fashion model:
  20. Arnold is getting tougher, that's great. Although I was amused that when he let Chael go he told him "you're fired."
  21. Both Paige and India were terrific, although I did laugh at Law saying Paige looks like she's selling backpacks and pencils lol Tatiana really does have the complete package. I could see them three plus Courtney as the final four. Overall a pretty satisfying episode. Considering Kyle was recruited, I thought she did pretty well and hope that she was able to remove her Stockholm Syndrome feelings for Marissa as soon as she left.
  22. Still surprised how awesome Troparocka was. I have no idea why Brooke thought "authenticity" had anything to do with the campaign. "I wouldn't drive him in real life, so it wouldn't be authentic." Well I'm pretty sure you aren't going to see Kyle Richards scooting around on a motorcycle either. It was quite sad seeing how she was rationalizing everything that was happening. Carson: "We decided to push the boundaries and add a yorkie." LOL!
  23. Stop trying to make Marissa happen, show! I liked Ashley Graham as the unofficial host this episode. She reminds me of the good parts of Tyra hosting: the mentoring and the actual modeling tips on set. Drew can also stay, I love that he is all about the work and is completely serious. It doesn't seem like he's there for the camera time.
  24. I like Robby and Jess together and think they compliment each other well. We don't often see male versions of Jess in media so I think he's interesting. I was shouting "Nooo" during the Jess and Nick scene. As someone who was rooting for them early on, now it seems so forced.
