  1. Considering that they all seemed to know what was up, I think a lot of that was editing. In America's Next Top model, one of the girls seemingly barged into the other girls' shoot. Later they found out the director had told her to do that, so I am willing to cut the twin some slack, especially since it looks like his team ended up liking him (and it didn't seem like he took credit for that decision which the judges ended up loving.)
  2. Aw Kelly broke my heart this episode :(
  3. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel right now. Happy for Jeana? Upset for Rio? I want to see more of Khrys's photos--I think they had a better one than that.
  4. That little snippet of Kay Kay was enough for me to become a fan of hers. When were we able to vote for which contestant would come back? I was wondering how Brittany got back on there. So weird I had to go to Instagram to see it. (I don't watch DWTS anymore.) I wanted more group drama too. Oh well. There's some really great talent this year.
  5. YES, HOLLYWOOD WEEK TOMORROW!!!! I actually enjoyed a lot of the stories tonight. Was super surprised the girl with the homeless story didn't make it through. I thought they only do those kinds of packages for people who go through. Really enjoying Luke Bryan and I like that he and Katy try to give constructive advice. When that one girl said that she needed AI to change her life, it made me realize that there's no other show out there that can have the same impact on your career as this one (or at least that I can think of). Wow, there really hasn't been that many repeat auditioners. Ada werked it. Why did Katy think she wasn't being serious?
  6. The actor playing the kid Kevin helped give birth to made some weird choices. Like, I could never get his motivation. The whole time I was thinking he had some ulterior motive and then when he blanked during the interview, I thought it was on purpose until he asked if he did okay. Weird. Monkey Fist Monkey Fist Monkey Fist
  7. Duke reminded me of Ralph Macchio. They were a good team although I wonder how much notice the producers had that there would be a hurricane in that area...
  8. But then she died :( That was a super sad story. Surprised the '90s looking vocal coach didn't make it. She seemed familiar. Why would you bring your dog into the audition?! The guy at the piano in that segment didn't sound that bad. I wanted goat farm guy to sound better than he did. Did that one sister really think they weren't going to ask the other sister to sing?? That's how David Cook came on this show. Lastly, Marco and his baby got me. Tears. His singing to his son was wonderful.
  9. I think for the audition rounds it's necessary to break things up or else everyone sort of runs together. A majority of the people that make the Top 40, I think, don't have the stories. Some of my favorites, like Pia, Kris, David Cook, or Elise didn't even get "stories" until Hollywood so I don't mind them. (Kris Allen didn't even get his audition shown.) I thought Luke Bryan was going to tell the last girl "Don't hold back, let it fly.........because BABY, YOU'RE A FIIIREWORK!" Speaking of, the kid with the Luke Bryan impression was pretty good.
  10. Oh, forgot to add one more thing: "Winner winner, chicken....dinner."
  11. Pros: SHIRI APPELBY. And Grant. Cons: Everything else. Can we have Adam back and replace the suitress, who they themselves keep telling us how boring she is? What was the point of firing the bartender?
  12. Khrys's photo took my breath away...definitely deserved FCO. But TBH I hated all the looks.
  13. Anyone else have "oo-wee-oo-wee-oo-wow wow wow bombo" stuck in their head today?
  14. I highly enjoyed this episode. Good contestants, judges that don't mind saying no, and some really funny segments.
  15. I'm happy Idol is back. Could never get into any of its competitors while it was gone. Feels like it never left, which I'm glad about. There were still enough WTF auditions to keep me satisfied (like that lady who kept talking over Katy because they were both "double Scorpios") and good auditions (Raghu girl). Judges are trying a little too hard to show how fun and quirky they are (like a lot of the contestants) but maybe they'll settle down later. That first guy should not have been brought back. He was not ready.
  16. The show I love is back! Good laughs, good action, good Scorsese scenes. Now I'm craving some BBQ....
  17. I reeeeeally want to see the outtakes from Khrystyana's shoot. Some of those shots looked amazing, espeially when she was doing the leaning down thing. Glad she and Erin didn't get involved in the drama. It was in her photo montage at the end. I wonder why she wants to be a model given her self-esteem problems, where all you do is get judged over and over.
  18. The lipsync was super boring. The song had a beat and they just did the diva arms the whole time. I wanted more Aja commentary :(
  19. Mr. Rogers story was great, I never tire of hearing it and Colin Hanks was perfect casting (and more interesting since we know his dad is going to play him too in a new movie!) The last narrator was not very enjoyable to watch. Too much digressing.
  20. Rio is cancelled. I didn't like any of the photos. None of the models really modeled with the males, they all looked so awkward. If they weren't burly men, would they have modeled any differently? Hmm.... Very little Brendi this episode, kinda refreshing.
  21. Wow this was a disappointment. The suitress(?) was so one-dimensional and she got played wayyy too easily. It would've been awesome if they finally met their match but she folded in the first 30 minutes. Why would a nice, attractive, not to mention rich genius have to go on a TV show to find a relationship? I don't even remember what the character's name is. I'm sad.
  22. I enjoyed this episode a lot. Kind of sad that judging by the previews, by next episode all the messages of support seem to fall by the wayside. Khrystyana just keeps getting better and better for me. She's reminding me of India, a dark horse, super nice to everyone, and does well in all the challenges. Her story broke me. Why did they critique Erin's hair in the photo when I'm pretty sure that wasn't her idea to do that.
  23. Considering Rachel and the producers said they only planned for this show to have four seasons, I'm not dissatisfied with the finale because this shows real character development in Rebecca. While this season was meant to show her recovery, I have a feeling that the last season will really be about that. The last song she sang with Nathaniel made me think of last season's theme song. "I'm just a girl in love, I'm not responsible for my actions."
  24. This was a hard episode to watch :( I hope they go back to the 90 min episodes next week.
