  1. I liked there was a reunion and that there was no moderator. I did kiiiinda miss the aftershow and the interviews they did on FB so this was nice. Agree they went way too easy on Russell and the whole argument with Lacey felt unfinished. "Women can't cut down trees." Then later the episode showed Amber cutting down a whole tree. And she still probably doesn't think she needs to change her opinion on that front. Fernando had a lot more funny pieces than made the final edit!
  2. I really liked the segment showing them all returning to civilization. It was like watching a Ponderosa episode from Survivor. My favorite parts are always when they get to eat and see themselves for the first time. They seemed to get along a lot better once they had food. I hope it becomes a regular segment along with the reunions.
  3. Really surprised this show is back so soon. What happened to them doing only one season per year so they could have better quality contestants? I only ended up half-watching this episode. Sometimes it seems like watching Face Off: Kids Edition since it's a lot of people fresh out of school. Maybe they could bring former contestants like Tyler or Laura back as team mentors or something. At least the black wolves weren't too bad?

    S34: Ponderosa

I'll be darned if that Michaela Ponderosa doesn't put a smile on your face. That was a fun episode and nice to finally get someone who is new to Ponderosa.
  5. Was vaguely creeped out by this last episode. I understand wanting to cuddle for survival but the way he was going about it was a little off. I dunno. Glad it turned out okay.
  6. They were a good team and I'm happy Jeremy got his redemption. That huge deer they caught before they left was once again suspect hmmm...
  7. I did want Brady to win money for his charity but I would've been okay with any of them winning. I did like how different each of the relationships became and the overall easy breezy tone of the show. Hannah was also a great host.
  8. I'm pretty sure I saw them make soup on one of these episodes before, maybe with crab or something. Melissa made tea in this last episode, which I enjoyed.
  9. Wow I felt so bad for Melissa having to deal with Jeff. He ranks right up there with some of the more unsufferable survivalists. While I might have been annoyed by constant chatter, there's a better way to talk to your partner about that than saying "Hey you're annoying me okay good I'm over it and you're over it." Good job, Melissa.
  10. The Leaked: Fox News 8 PM Anchor Auditions compilation was rage inducing and gross. I can't believe how it went unchecked for so long.
  11. No Ponderosa thread yet. I thought Ozzy's was interesting. It was a little awkward when he and Hali were sitting alone eating the ceviche and they were having a deep conversation about authenticity and he just muses "I wish I had someone in my life to share this with" or something lol

    S34: Hali Ford

I thought that there may be a slight chance of Hali actually being a bitter juror but it was nice to see her recover in Ponderosa. Seemed like she thought about how she would spend time there before she left. I really want to see her art project in person!
  13. @cryptaknight Thank you for sharing your story. The writer of Episode 6 actually wrote about why he thought it was actually the best decision to show Hannah's death as graphically as they did (which I agree with): http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2017/04/13-reasons-why-suicide-controversy-nic-sheff-writer
  14. Um...that sucked. Is it too late to use Judge's Save?? I wish all good things for Tyler. Dayum.
  15. I am really gonna miss Alan, he was a breath of fresh air and I'm going to miss his positive attitude. Val showed Maks a thing or two about how to pair good dancing content with the showboating stuff.

  17. Zeke and GLAAD worked with CBS on airing this episode.
  18. Adam throughout this season seemed really camera-ready. I would watch his show.
  19. Tonight's superfan episode was pretty lame, I hope they don't try this concept again. The woman was great but the guy was clearly in no way prepared to go out there. It's never fun watching an episode where the survival strategy is to basically starve your way to the end.
  20. How does Tyler not win this season? I feel like he holds some record for most wins. What happened to Evan this season? I remember rooting for him his first season but his work was so different this season.
  21. The cast and crew were also very conscious of this. From an interview with Dylan Minnette (Clay): It didn't have any sad soundtrack, weird fades, and didn't cut away from the painful aspects to make it look beautiful. It was just quiet, harsh, and Clay specifically narrates that she died alone. I think for some people in that mental state, there are no other options. She took her counselor visit as her last option and he let her down. I thought it was a well-done scene and while I wanted to look away, I felt I would be doing the character an injustice somehow. They did a good job at making hard to watch scenes that force you to understand and not just turn away like some of the characters do in this show. What an impactful story. It really makes you evaluate how you treat others and has been the best illustration I've seen yet of how the smallest thing can affect things in the biggest way. @Anela Thank you for sharing your story. After watching this show, it's not really easy to know what to say, but just know you have someone that's rooting for you here.
  22. That's kinda messed up Rastafar-guy had to leave because his partner had an unknown allergy. He should've gotten a new partner since it's so early in the game.
  23. I love that a woman directed this episode.
  24. To be fair, though, according to one of the FB chats they (used to?) have, the contestants do get notified where they are going a few weeks before they leave which gives them time to research the area.
  25. Adam seemed ready to leave this show weeks ago. It seemed like he wanted to quit multiple times. Logan seemed so much happier this episode getting to work with Emily and Tyler. Notice how Adam took complete credit for changing the concept lol That's after he stuck them with the worse site because he just picked the card HE wanted after disregarding the others, especially Emily who said she wanted to go pick.
