While I have always believed that truly funny people are very smart, I don't happn to think that educated people are necessarily funny. Shep, I'm looking at you. -
Or let the man live his life the way he likely will regardless of what you do or say, making certain that the health and life insurance policies have an appropriate number of commas. Wish I had done that last part.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"

When winter rears its ugly head, early, and a heavy rain/snow mix results in downed trees>>powerlines, causing a 9hr power loss. The real pet peeve is that there is zero evidence that electric power providers are making any attempt to eliminate existing above ground power lines. And you want me to buy an electric car, right? Yeah, sure. I'll get right on that. Edit - The electric utility chose the wrong day (today) to send an email with helpful hints on how to save on my winter utility bill. I may have reacted irrationally in my responding email, lol. Plus, my calendar reminded me to pay the electric bill today. Life has a cute way of punking us. -

Dr. Shannon Klingman and her fkn Lume ads. Waaaay over it. -
I saw the job quitting thing a little differently. I saw it as an opportunity to travel and see some of the world (let's not kid ourselves, on someone elses dime) that she may not have been able to otherwise. We all have big plans, until life happens. In the work environmnt that currently exists, she was probably justifiably confident that she would be able to be re-employed in relative short order.

Yes, he is pretty far away visually imo.

Exactly what I thought, based on that clip. VPR East was probably the working title.

Is it possible, that in an effort to keep the show fresh, they are systematically removing the elements that have made it popular in the first place? I can see where it may be a bit of a tightrope to walk; trying to keep a popular show relevant without destroying its legacy. Edit- actually meant to put this in the Mexican Week thread, but sentiment remains the same.

What New Foods Have You Tried?: Like It? Hate It? Share Here!

We recently discovered Rao's Marinara, and we really like it, but man is it spendy. I save it to use with angel hair and meatballs, which is my hubs favorite. When I need sauce to bake with or flavor a dish, I typically just buy Hunts canned sauce and jazz it up from there. -

Excellent point. Not all disabilities are obvious. Do I think that folks do what was posted? Absolutely. Just can't assume. -
