Th logical me would think that it is worth the value of the car whole, minus parts and labor for the window, to a dealer. If a BMW dealer goes on their computer to check the part availability, it should show available like it did for you, right? <wink, wink> I actually feel like, considering that used cars are selling exponentially higher than they were a couple years ago, you would probably make out okay in a trade. Selling outright to an individual could be trickier, but maybe not. Take it to a couple dealers for an appraisal and put it on a couple of those internet car dealer websites, maybe Craig's list too, and see what happens. If you're up front about the window, shouldn't be any problm. You aren't obligated to sell it, no matter what.

I was also going to suggest a salvage yard. Can't hurt to try.
