If we're going to judge ^those events by who is or isn't funny*, then Conan shouldn't have gotten within the Grand Canyon of The Tonight Show. And Letterman? Well, he did just fine didn't he? Moved on to sexually harass his staff, unfettered, at another network for a couple of decades. Jmnsho. *Funny as a host. He apparently had writing chops. I guess.

I had a cat Jessica, who would, and I'm not exaggerating, sit in front of the oven and cry for turkey while it was cooking. I made a point of not overfeeding her with it, but she would eat as much as I was willing to give. It's a favorite Thanksgiving memory in our house. Much like this, -pizza +turkey:

I'm sort of curious to know if laws have been put in place to deal with these new technological devices such as air tags, etc. I too find the use of these things for the purpose of stalking to be frightening, but I sort of wish that Xzibit would have kept silent until the person(s) responsible could be tracked and questioned. Hopefully, there is a law broken here, perhaps stalking statutes?

There's the rub for me. I have to believe that a 20-yr attorney is well aware of the salary parameters of an associate position, and is willing to accept that salary, or likely wouldn't be applying for the job. Not blaming you @Cloud9Shopper, just saying that in general, I find this rationale for excluding a given applicant extremely frustrating.

Couldn't find the one we have, which to me was ideal, but this is the most like it. Yes, the sturdy ones are pricey. (So many of these seem to be made for kittens) If the photos show only kittens, that's a clue. Tall enough scratching pole (Many are too short to allow the cat to stretch, which is a big part of the purpose of these) For me, a curved perch is preferable to flat. Allows the cat to be cradled, which they like. Consider buying one that is cat-colored if available. The carpet will obviously become covered in cat hair, which isn't always easy to clean off, especially the perches where they will spend the most time. We have a couple of the sisal-covered scratching posts in addition to the cat tree, as the sisal does eventually wear, becoming less desirable/effective.

Along those lines, when chefs handle raw meat, then plunge their contaminated fingers into a salt/pepper vessel. C'mon now.
