  1. I kind of liked Jason, and I feel bad that Bethenny discounts his family. I think that if she was not so damaged, she could have finally had the family that she cried about wanting in the past. Personally, I now think that Bethenny would have been better off going to a sperm bank for an anonymous donor.
  2. Just came across this little tidbit: http://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/bethenny-frankel-house-hunting-in-nyc-fredrik-eklund?cid=soc_dg_fb_RHONY I don't understand - didn't she just finish the remodeling work on her current apartment, and claimed how much she loved it, that it was all "hers" and perfect?? Guess we'll be hearing more of Bethenny being "homeless" next season! Or, she'll be showing us how much of a shrew she can be to her contractors again.
  3. Does anyone else think that maybe, just maybe, this special was a sticking point with Bethenny (and maybe Carole, too), with their ongoing vendetta against Luann this season? I get the whole Carole/Luann argument from last season, and their twitter wars or whatever, but could there also be an underlying jealousy that they were not considered for a "Before They Were Housewives" specials of their own? Carole did have a pretty interesting life before the RHNY, with her news background and the Radziwill/Kennnedy connections, and Bethenny, well, I think she just thinks everyone, everywhere wants to know about how "she was raised by wolves", and she absolutely thinks she is the STAR of the show. I'm assuming that the other women knew that this special about Luann was being filmed, so I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks the way I do. :-)
  4. Well, at least with the cancellation of this trip, Carole won't "owe" Bethenny four vacations, instead of the three that Bethenny reminded Carole of, when they were lounging on Bethenny's bed! ;-)
  5. This resort is nowhere near the Tequila region that Bethenny was planning on taking the women. Tequila, Mexico (yes, there is such a place, LOL!) is on the west coast of Mexico, in Jalisco. Generations Resort is in the Riviera Maya, close to Cancun, on the east coast. I guess Bethenny was feeling well enough to make the four hour flight from NY to Cancun in February. Absolutely amazing resort, though!!! :-) Not to be catty (okay, well, yes, I'm being catty), compared to other times we've seen Bethenny in teeny-tiny bikinis, her stomach looks a little bloated here. She still has a great figure for a super thin girl, but I've seen her tummy look more toned.
  6. Forgive me if this has been answered already, but did Jules ever say WHY she was climbing in/out of a window when she injured her "coochie coo"?? WTF??
  7. That's what I was wondering, too!! Actually, I was waiting for Heather from RHOC to come out from behind the backdrop and yell at her (but, maybe she wouldn't - after all, Ramona didn't ruin any cake bow!!) ;-)
  8. I liked the special - I thought Luann was pretty candid about her life. She was, obviously, a jetset party girl before she met the Count, and she didn't really gloss over that, or anything else, including the crabs situation. It was an interesting look into what was an interesting life before the Housewives. But, she did seem ever so slightly pretentious when she was working on the local cable station with her "Reports from the Countess" segments.
  9. But still a whole lot of bitches, no matter how you look at it! ;-)
  10. Wishing your husband all the best....hoping for a good outcome! :-)
  11. I LOVE the looks on those two girls' faces - they're like "Are you effin' kidding me? Grow up and get me off this boat!!" :-)
  12. That was exactly what I was thinking! The beach bar bill must have been pretty expensive, the way Danny was spending the guests' money, and they probably deducted that amount from the tip.
  13. When the group dinner was winding down, and the women were saying they didn't want to stay, but they needed a ride back, one of the charter guests very lewdly commented "We'll make sure you get a ride" (or something like that), and then performed a hand gesture that I have only ever seen a middle school boy use. I thought that was pretty crass and rude for a supposedly rich, classy adult male. I think the women thought so, too, and were glad to have had their 15 minutes of fame, but wanted to get off that yacht as quick as they could.
  14. Lamb chops wouldn't be the first thing on my breakfast choices, but then again, I wouldn't order them for dinner, either, as I'm not much of a fan of them. I wondered if the lamb chops had been defrosted the day before for the charter guests' dinner, before they knew that there would be additional guests, and Ben figured he would cook and serve them for breakfast so they wouldn't go to waste.
  15. I think Vicki is secretly hoping that Brianna and her jerk-face asshole of a husband will divorce and Brianna and her boys will move back home with Vicki.
  16. So happy this is back on, but I'm hoping that Jill Kargman will tone down the annoying....she seems to have acquired a little more confidence in front of a camera, and is definitely a different actress than she was last season. So, did Lex and Brooke get divorced, or are they just separated? I don't remember them getting a divorce. Can't wait to see what this season will bring, though! :-)
  17. I don't really see Landon as being Shep's type, either. Personally, I think that Cameran is more Shep's type (if she was available). I think Shep needs a woman who is a little stronger and more intelligent than the lazy shrinking violet that is Landon.
  18. As he should. I'm not a huge fan of JD, but I think he was a bourbon drinker anyway, so it makes sense if he's going to order a drink on TV, might as well push his brand. I'll be curious to see if it's offered for sale here in the North, though, or if it's only a regional thing. I'm a vodka drinker, and I have a bottle of vodka that I bought in Lake Placid, NY, that is only sold in that part of the state. It is produced by a small distillery there, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Just as Bethenny does, Ramona does with her pinot grigio, Lisa Vanderpump does with her wines, etc, JD should take every opportunity to market his brand. It's just funny to me that you don't really see the other men ordering or drinking it when they get together, LOL!
  19. Hey, Landon - no matter how much you whine and cry, Shep will never fall in love with you. Whining to him that he will eventually wind up as someone in his 50's, and then marrying a young girl just to have kids was so off the mark. Shep is enjoying his life, and he realizes and is okay with the fact that he is a commitment-phobe. Shep will change his tune only when he meets the girl that will knock his socks off (when Shep does wear socks, which I don't think is often). First of all, I don't think that Shep would be able to handle Landon's whiny voice and dolphin laugh for more than about one week. Plus, I think that Landon would annoy the hell out of Shep's Mom, who seems like a very nice lady. Next season, I think we will see Landon making a play for Whitney, because she is just that desperate.
  20. Yes...that was it! Thanks for paying more attention than I did, LOL!! :-) I actually like her reply even more now! Kelly's comment was snarky and insulting, especially given the fact that she had only met Shannon less than five minutes prior.
  21. Oh, Lord - Thank you, Juneau Gal for mentioning Rodan and Fields. I just got a text from someone I haven't seen in two years inviting me to "experience the wonderful skin products" she has been using that have taken years off her face! Will be replying with a definite "No" to that one!! Maybe Jim and Megan can sell Longaberger baskets next - does Longaberger make a big enough handbasket for all these women to go to hell in? ;-) When Kelly said "University for Spoiled Children", Shannon, without missing a beat, replied "No, University of Superior Successful Children" (I'm pretty sure that's what she said). I was just impressed with the quick comeback! :-) EDITED for correct information. :-)
  22. Maybe she got them from that girl, Jenna, that was on in Season One? I recall she wore a lot of those kind of gloves, and I think she was supposedly starting some kind of business designing them? I agree - they looked totally ridiculous, especially with her matronly-looking ball gown. I get that she was trying to hide some post-baby weight, and the dress was nice, but it looked matronly on her, and it was very conservative. If she had been wearing something more edgy, maybe those gloves would have been appropriate, but not with that dress! I thought it was funny when they were showing all of the cast getting ready for the ball, they showed a clip of Kathryn pulling those gold gloves on and I immediately thought of a Rocky movie, kind of like she was putting on her boxing gloves, prepping for a fight (I guess that's what the producers where going for). On another fashion note, I thought that Naomi looked absolutely stunning. Ha-ha....I just replied pretty much the same thing! ;-)
  23. I think Shannon's phone case had the University of Southern California (USC) logo on it. I'm assuming that University of "Spoiled Children" is a play on the letters "USC". I loved Shannon's reply to Kelly's comment, though. I don't know if I will like Kelly or not, so far, I'm not crazy about her, but I guess they had to bring someone on who is willing to film with Vicki, since the other women clearly don't. I wish they could have just brought Jeana back as a full time housewife. I hope, like everyone else, that this isn't going to be a season-long apology tour for Vicki.
  24. All I could think of when seeing Kathryn go b.s. crazy at the Founders' Ball was Cruella DeVille. She seemed much taller and imposing than the rest of the women, and at times, she seemed like she was ready to pounce. Thank God there were no little dalmatian puppies around!! ;-)
  25. I would rather hear "text messages" or just "messages" than hear the way they all mangle the word "texts", because it's rare that you hear that word said correctly. Often, it sounds like they are talking about a state (Texas) rather than a message received on a cell phone.
