  1. To be honest, any guy who actually got a perm in the 70's (and I knew quite a few of them) looked kind of creepy.
  2. Well, in Heather and Terry's world, I guess it is important, because someone has to earn the big bucks required to pay for Chateua Dubrow. If Terry was doing re-constructive plastic surgery on burn victims or wounded military, I would say that's important. Fixing botched plastic surgeries that were originally done for vanity's sake, well, it's important to the patient, but it's definitely not up there as a virtuous medical calling, and he's not doing these surgeries for free....
  3. Yup....that's more of a sipping tequila, to be savored. Also, I was told once by a tequilero (kind of a master wine sommelier, but for tequila) that the whole salt and lime thing is supposed to lessen the harshness on the palate of lower-grade tequilas. I've seen and spoken to bartenders in Mexico who actually laugh behind their hands at people who order high end tequilas in shots and then ask for salt and lime wedge.
  4. Glad your Mom is okay. I also couldn't figure out what Meghan was saying when she thought of the 70's...could she have said "drugs and Ashton Kutcher", as in from "That 70's Show"? On that sitcom, there is always at least one scene in every episode alluding to the group smoking weed.
  5. Kind of reminded me of that Penny person and her husband from RHNJ - total set up to have someone stir up shit~not a housewife, but someone who is slightly acquainted with one.
  6. I don't think Heather is perfect at rollerskating, whether Terry pushed her or not. It was hysterical watching her fall on her ass! ;-)
  7. Ha-ha....I'm wondering if that is what Jimmy is thinking, too. I have never, ever seen someone as checked out of a marriage as he is. Meghan is going to the fourth ex-Mrs. Edmonds raising a child on her own in a matter of a couple of years. I actually felt bad for her tonight (and that's saying a lot, because I really don't like her). She needs to stop making excuses for him, though, and just tell him he's being an asshole.
  8. Reminded me of Joan and Christina Crawford with "Yes, Mommie Dearest"....creepy and scary.
  9. To me, she looked like a bride who forgot to put on her wedding gown. She looked like she was squeezed into someone else's much too small body shaper. If MJ would just learn to size up in her clothing, and maybe do away with all the body-con fashions, she would actually look attractive. I, too, was virtually high-fiving Mike with his comments to Vida. She is a nasty, nasty person, and last night, it showed that MJ isn't the only one that she can be nasty with. I only tuned in when it was about 1/2 through, so I missed the parts with GG and Reza - I'll catch it on a rerun.
  10. Maybe she rented it to tenants while she wasn't living there? That was my first thought. During the last five years, after a lot of people in NJ who THOUGHT they could afford McMansions, wound up having to short sale or be foreclosed on, and the rental market for the typical 4 bed/2-1/2 bath colonial (that's what Dolores' house looks like) was very hot. People couldn't afford mortgages, but they could afford rent, and it was a good way to stay in the same town for kids' schooling, etc. I also think it had something to do with a loan from Theresa/Joe's dad to Kathy/Rosie's dad, or vice versa, and the debt was never paid.
  11. And, I've heard all I ever need to hear about squirting women, too.
  12. Maybe Bethenny is still trying to wear Bryn's clothes... ;-) You're right about the maillots. Definitely a very high cut leg (supposed to make your legs look longer), but much more coverage in the crotch.
  13. I had a bathing suit almost exactly like that back in the 80's (not quite the same cut on the leg and crotch, though). Given a few of the last outfits we've seen Bethenny wearing, and this bathing suit, I wonder if she's shopping vintage these days. From the vantage point of the one photo, it's clear that Bethennny has just been to the waxing specialist. LVP looks fabulous! :-)
  14. And, yet, Bethenny seemed pretty buzzed on that bus ride, and she was slurring slightly when she said that to Ramona.
  15. I caught that too~~I think she was worried about that fur jacket that Ramona was trying on. Ramona even commented something about maybe they'll think I already own it and I can just walk out (or something like that)...I was thinking "Ummm, no, Ramona - that store is not Bethenny's talk show studio!" ;-)
  16. Bethenny annoys the hell out of me, but that headstand with the splits in the air was pretty freakin' impressive.
  17. Why did I just get a mental picture of Dan Akroyd and Steve Martin in the SNL skit - "Two Wild and Crazy Guys"? ;-)
  18. I just re-watched and you're right. I missed seeing the captioned expletive on my first watching. It was Bobby who said it, and all the girls on the boat were shocked. Bobby's lucky that when he was getting on the tender one of the girls didn't kick him in the groin.
  19. I must have missed that little part of their tete-a-tete - I'll have to watch again. Whomever said that is lucky they didn't get their face smacked...just as, if I were Julia, I would have punched the oversized teeth right out of Bobby's drunken, filth-spilling mouth when he called her boyfriend a pussy. WTF? He's never met the guy, he knows nothing about their relationship or anything about Matty - I'm surprised that Matty isn't booking a flight to wherever it is that Bobby lives (is he from New York?) to just punch his lights out. Again, what an asshole!
  20. The three of them had the most reprehensible, unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. Bobby going off on Danny like a high school asshole bully. "Yeah - let's get off of this boat and I'll show you", all nostrils flaring and muscles flexing. What a fucking douche!!! I could not believe that the captain stood there and let things escalate like that. Yes, Danny deserved to be fired, but I think that if any of them worked for Captain Lee (oh, how I miss him!!!), they all would have been handed tickets from Captain Lee's one way travel agency. I can't figure out which of them is the biggest douchebag. Speaking of douchebags, compliments to Jen for the best line of the entire season.
  21. Now that the divorce is final, it will be interesting to see Bethenny's reaction if/when Jason finds someone else, given how nasty she can be in regards to Bryn's grandparents. God only knows what will happen if Jason ever decides to remarry, and Bryn will want to spend more time with her Daddy and his new wife than with Bethenny. (But, that is a show I would LOVE to watch!!!)
  22. Heather did mention that she had a chef when choosing the extra large grill that neither she nor Terry will ever use. I think that even for Heather, who can be so pretentious, having a butler is just too much (Patricia Altschul from Southern Charm, anyone?). I would think that once they move into Chateau Dubrow, she will have at least one live-in housekeeper and probably several others on some sort of regular basis. Didn't Heather have several nannies and a housekeeper when she first started on the show?
  23. That's a good point - I hadn't thought of preference of hospitals. I now remember that one of my sons needed to go to the hospital, and his pediatrician advised me to drive right past the one closest to us and go to another hospital, because they had a much better pediatric care unit.
  24. To me, the strangest thing about this is that Brianna called Vicky instead of calling 911. Vicky said she was out to lunch with the boys when Brianna called her, and she rushed back home. We saw her assisting Brianna into the SUV. IMO, Brianna, as a nurse, should have known that she should have contacted the EMT's and an ambulance service first. Going to the ER via ambulance vs. a walk-in from someone's car - ambulance patients are usually admitted through a separate entrance to the ER, so they are seen and assessed quicker. Plus, she should also have known that an ambulance is better equipped to deal with medical emergencies than her own car. If she wasn't a nurse, I could almost understand her calling her Mom before dialing 911, but given her personal health history, and her medical background, this just doesn't make sense to me.
