  1. Bethenny threw that out there because during last season's Turks and Caicos trip, Luann and Ramona brought some guys back to the house, and supposedly, Luann slept with one of the guys, who, they later found out was married. All of this occurred off camera, and Luann claimed that she had no idea the guy was married. To Luann, the guy was a "one and done, vacation fun" hook-up. As far as I can remember, that was the only time that Luann hooked up with a married guy. Not that I'm excusing Luann, but if the guy didn't tell Luann he was married, how was she to know? Yes, that was morally loose behavior, but that's for Luann to deal with, not for Bethenny to throw stones at. What's next, Bethenny - will Luann be required to wear a bright scarlet letter "A" attached to all her clothing??
  2. I loved when Luann was questioning Ramona about where Ramona heard the story of Luann saying to Tom "You dated Ramona, now I'm next". Ramona was stammering and falling all over herself to not reveal the "source" - which turned out to be a friend of Bethenny's?? You know that Bethenny was the one who said that to Ramona. I don't know if the conversation between Tom and Luann ever happened, but even if it did, it could have been something said in jest, after Tom expressed interest in dating Luann. Either way, what difference does it make? We've all seen how the dating pool on the UES is smaller than a baby's wading pool, so I would assume that all the eligible women of the UES know and date all the available men. Ramona, herself, admitted last night that she dated Tom a few times, and "he wasn't for her", so what's the big friggin' deal? Not only that, but didn't Dorinda originally introduce Tom and Luann? If Dorinda and Ramona are such good friends, wouldn't Dorinda have known that Ramona had dated Tom? Or, did Ramona not mention Tom's name to her good friends? And lastly, if no one in this group knew that Ramona had dated Tom until after the fact, why did Luann have to ask permission to date him? I mean, I could see if Ramona had been in a long term relationship with him, but a few dates that didn't amount to anything?
  3. I just want to know - did Dorinda's Mom bake or buy that cake? First, Dorinda said her Mom bakes her a vanilla cake every year, then, when she was going off on Luann, she said her Mom bought the cake -- which was it? ;-)
  4. I know it's wrong, but all I could think of when they were showing Coco's poop all over the place was "I don't blame the dog - if I was there, I'd be shitting, too..."
  5. I find it interesting that Bethenny says she doesn't hold a grudge - she speaks her piece and moves on, but apparently, with Luann, at least, that is not the case. She clearly is still feeling the burn she felt when Luann may have treated her poorly in the past. Now, Bethenny is rich - much richer than Luann will ever be, so she feels she can get even with Luann now? Who's the hypocrite now?
  6. Ha-ha....well, I hope it's math, because we found out tonight that spelling isn't her strong suit (Luann's or Ramon's, either, for that matter)!! I felt badly for Jules - she was trying to diffuse the situation, by using whatever she could, including trying to talk about her ill father, but no one was hearing her!!
  7. I think Bethenny stopped seeing the sockless therapist (Dr. Amadour-?)....and she should be running back to him, ASAP!
  8. I'm surprised we didn't hear Bethenny yelling at everyone "Go to sleep!! Go to sleep!!" the same way she did on Scary Island. This is starting to make me see that episode in a possible different light. Maybe Kelly wasn't as crazy as we all thought?? (Never mind....I still think that Kelly was batshit crazy!)
  9. Did anyone notice whether or not Bethenny apologized to Dorinda? I think I recall Luann apologizing, but I don't recall Bethenny acting anything but self-righteous. I'm slowly losing any kind of like I may have had for her. She is a perfect example of someone who believes their own press. She got popular being the one who was spunky and snarky, but now, she's just shrill and rude. Bethenny is really becoming a legend in her own mind. Whatever her reasons for disliking Luann, she's entitled to them, but to offensively strike out in the manner she has been doing, well, I'm thinking she's more of a snake than Luann ever was or will be. I think repeatedly screaming "You're a whore!!!" at another woman is really low.
  10. I'm thinking that Bethenny is actually jealous of Luann, and the life Luann is living right now. Luann has it pretty good - she has some money in the bank, she's HAPPILY and AMICABLY divorced from her husband, her kids are doing well, and she's living a free and single life, dating, having sex when and with whom she pleases. Plus, and this is a big one - Luann actually seems to be in a very happy place in her life right now - so far away from where Bethenny is.
  11. I don't know what it is, but I am just not feeling this show, at all! I'm not really liking any of the staff, except Ben, and even Ben seems like his heart is not in it like it was on the original BD. Danny is a hot mess, Bobby seems like he could have some anger issues (and, I get the importance of the brotherhood of firefighters, but I don't need it shoved down my throat every five seconds), Bryan seems like a jerk most of the time. The girls - meh - just not feeling them at all.
  12. I agree - those that are bragging aren't necessarily shagging.... ;-)
  13. I'm pretty sure it's The College of Charleston. :-)
  14. Something tells me that Kathryn purchased that "LV" bag from the same place that she purchased her "faux real" Birkin..... But, I have to say, I did enjoy Thomas and Kathryn together during those scenes. There is definitely a spark there between them - too bad the spark erupts into an earth-scorching conflagration all too often!
  15. Bethenny does have a lot of good one liners, and times where she has re-worked a popular phrase that worked, but that one didn't work or make any sense, but yet, she thought she was hysterical!! ;-)
  16. Thanks, zoeysmom - I thought that was how I remembered it. This brouhaha is nothing short of ludicrous - even moreso than most of the other brouhahas these ladies invent.
  17. If I recall correctly, didn't this whole ridiculousness actually start with Heather, who told Luann that Bethenny should at least have given her a car (instead of a percentage of the profits) for coming up with the name? From there, Luann took that and ran with it. I agree though, that Luann does it just to piss off Bethenny - and, imo, good for Luann!!! :-)
  18. My sons have been making Frito pie forever, without knowing that they were doing it, LOL!!! They always add Fritos to chili. Even when I make Sloppy Joes (the ground meat kind, with spices and tomato-based sauce), they will put Fritos on the hamburger rolls, on top of the Sloppy Joe mixture. My youngest son thinks that Fritos go with everything!!
  19. I think Dorinda's Christmas decorations were a discussion topic last season, too. Personally, I think that Christmas is the perfect time to use inexpensive decor. It's obvious that Dorinda ascribes to the "more is never enough" Christmas decorating rule - so why not? I love Christmas decorations, whether they be from Target, the Christmas Tree Shoppes or Harry & David and Tiffany's or other high-end stores. Some of my prettiest tree ornaments have been purchased from the stalls at Bryant Park, for less than half what I would pay elsewhere. Was her decor a little tacky for some? Probably, but I love that she is proud of it! I also LOVED the ceramic Christmas trees with the lights that were displayed on a sideboard in her dining room. I made those for my Mom and Dad back in the late 70's when ceramic classes were a big thing, and I'm sorry I don't have them now. Very nostalgic! I would bet that some of those things hold very sentimental value to Dorinda.
  20. If Luann was disinvited, who would Bethenny have to start an argument with? She gets along with all the other women there.
  21. Sshhhh, zoeysmom!!! If Bethenny or her interns are reading here - you have just given her a new brand opportunity!! Next Christmas, we will see the "Skinnygirl" board game, or some type of game app, similar to the Kardashian's....and then, little Portia from RHOBH will get in trouble again for buying in, playing and spending thousands of dollars without Kyle knowing!!!
  22. In the scene, when Bethenny arrived at Dorinda's house, her haircut did look similar to Luann's. Bethenny's isn't quite as layered as Luann's, and has more of blunt edge, but they are both sporting chin-length bobs. I think that comment from Luann may have been one of the things that started to set Bethenny off. Bethenny likes to think she is an original, and that people should be copying her - not the other way around. Plus, I think Bethenny considers herself younger and more hip (well, she is) than Luann, and that comparison, in her eyes, was not complimentary.
  23. I thought this, too, but for me, the big question was "why the need for the Elsa caviar girl", if the women were going to serve themselves out of the tin? I thought the caviar girl would be circulating among the guests with the caviar and toast points/blinis, and other else accompanies caviar.
