  1. I agree 100% - especially about Gary the dog, who should definitely get more screen time. Jimmy should really only show the girls sparingly, mostly at the end of a bit before a commercial. I do like the way he ends each show when he and the girls exit stage slide, ahem, right. Seth Meyers has been good at that; the two times I've seen his sons on his show at home has been at the end of A Closer Look right before commercial. Jimmy should take a cue from Seth.
  2. In the "I am shocked" department: https://people.com/sports/former-nfl-quarterback-johnny-manziel-slips-and-falls-into-lake-in-botched-dive-attempt/
  3. The kids are obviously over being "on" all the time. Give us more singalongs with The Roots and let those kids be kids.
  4. Good for Monk that he learned how to use Zoom. Remember this? 😉😂
  5. I love how a guitar is in Randy's (rather, Jason Gray-Stanford's) background. Remember The Randy Disher Project? 😂
  6. Loved the cameo the other night by Seth's sons (in bee costumes). I think this is only the second time we've seen them since he's been doing the show at home. ☺❤
  7. More screen caps of our Fab Four:
  8. Definitely!! Everyone looks and sounds great.
  9. I'm guessing that's now off. I'm sorry. Back on topic, add me to the list of those annoyed by "Nothing is Everything". Thanks a lot, Skyrizi!! 😠
  10. The first time I saw those commercials, I thought it was Maury Povich!! 😲😜😂
  11. That's the same reaction my mom has to Ben Stiller.
  12. That is indeed a fascinating and entertaining book. You're also right about how stupid the entire situation became - and I put the onus on that squarely on Jeff Zucker.
  13. Jimmy needs The Roots back to do more songs via Zoom. Their renditions of "Stuck in the Middle With You" and "Don't Stand So Close to Me" (with Sting!) were very catchy and so much fun. Jimmy without The Roots just isn't as much fun.
  14. I really enjoyed these commercials back in the day! RIP Little Richard!!
  15. Here in Cleveland, there's a promo that has been running ad nauseam since the quarantine began for FOX 8 News. The voiceover intones, "Cleveland's own helping Cleveland's own. We're all in this together." I'm tempted to throw shoes at my TV. 😡😠😡😠😡😠
  16. I wonder how game shows will be affected. On a show like Jeopardy, you could film with no audience and space the three contestants six feet apart. Of course, that will require some new camera angles - but it might work. On the other hand, shows like Let's Make a Deal and The Price is Right are audience-participation driven. They get their contestants directly from the audience. I'm not sure how they would work around that.
  17. Truer words have never been spoken!!
  18. Of course, Little Richard took part in several memorable TV commercials:
  19. I'm STILL crying over the outcomes of those Series. 😭😭😭😭😭
  20. This really isn't "news", but Valerie Mahaffey (Ms. Macelroy, the English teacher) has turned up in Retro TV's rerun cycle of the long-defunct NBC soap opera, The Doctors. She began airing in December 1979. Unfortunately, the 1980 episodes have yet to be digitized, closed-captioned and aired because they are in a warehouse facility that was shut down because of the Coronavirus. Anyway, here are a few screen caps of Sheldon's future teacher, 40+ years ago:
