  1. I never watched GLEE, but I vividly remember Naya Rivera as adorable Gwendolyn on Family Matters. So, so sad. God bless her loved ones, especially her son. 🙏💔
  2. Poor John Travolta - Kelly Preston is the second love of his to succumb to breast cancer (the first was Diana Hyland, way back in 1977). Ditto to what has already said about Naya Rivera. I actually remember her most from Family Matters - she played Gwendolyn, the adorable little girl sweet on young Richie. 💔
  3. I don't really like the Barons. (Besides, I once dated a guy with that last name...not good memories.) Anyway, I don't think the Rockers is a good choice, either - our now-defunct WNBA franchise was named that. Scott Kingery from the Phillies has gone into detail about his battle with Coronavirus. He's since rejoined the team and is doing well now, but I found the article well worth reading. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/phillies/phillies-infielder-scott-kingery-talks-about-hell-coronavirus%3famp

    The NBA

Plus, Disney has known for how long that they would be hosting the NBA? They've had more than enough time to get big enough beds and decent sized meals for these guys.

    The NBA

I'm glad that the guys are keeping their sense of humor and trying to make the best of a very bad situation. I too don't know what Disney is thinking with those meals. These are NBA players, not astronauts. 😲😜😂
  6. Much as I love baseball, I'm seriously wondering if a 60-game season is really worth all this trouble.
  7. "In the future, sir, stay off the evening news."
  8. Thank you for the explanation, @Moose135. I still think it sounds stupid, but at least now I know the details. In 1998, I went to SoCal on vacation. The Indians happened to be there in Anaheim playing the Angels. I went to one of the games and had a great time there. It's still the only time I've been to an Indians game on the road.
  9. I'm afraid of spiders, too - so I don't want that as a team name/logo. I hope that whatever the new name is, the team at least keeps the colors (red, white and blue) and fonts that they've used for years. While we're on the subject, MLB should dump the "of Anaheim" with the LA Angels. They don't call the other two teams from one city the New York Yankees of the Bronx or the New York Mets of Flushing. They don't call the other team in LA the Los Angeles Dodgers of...Los Angeles. To do that with the Angels is just stupid.
  10. We already had the Cleveland Rockers - as in the now-defunct WNBA team. The Fellers isn't a bad idea. Rapid Robert spent his entire career in Cleveland, and was beloved here until his passing in 2010.
  11. So what do you all think of the Indians possibly changing their name? I would be OK with it only if they named the team after a beloved figure who was a leader on and off the field. I propose the Cleveland Alomars (after Sandy), everybody!!
  12. Agreed. The only reason I watched 20/20 as a kid was because it was on right after the TGIF shows on Friday nights. I don't remember any of the stories they did, but I always loved the grandfatherly vibe I got from him. RIP to this classy gentleman. "We'll be in touch so you'll be in touch."
  13. After seeing the jury duty episode, I have to add it to my Top 10. "No ID!" "No idea?" "NOOOO I...D!!" "No idea? Just check her identification!" 😂😂😂😂😂
  14. I'm picturing Carl and Mel as a live action Stadler and Waldorf. ☺ Best friends for 70 years? Wow. Thank you for all the laughs, Mr. Reiner. 🙏❤
  15. ...and the news just keeps getting better! https://sports.yahoo.com/report-mlb-revisits-bubble-plan-after-multiple-covid-19-diagnoses-impact-league-214047227.html
  16. I can tell you why - your idea makes too much sense. 😉

    The NBA

Four years ago at right about this time, the Cavs broke Cleveland's 52-year championship drought and plans were underway for the celebratory parade. How times have changed. 😭
  18. I'd love to see them check in on Sara as well. However, Sara's been going through personal problems of her own (i.e. splitting with Linda) that she might not be up for it at this time.
  19. Did Seth say something about having termites? After an especially grueling day at work, I was in and out of sleep at that point.
  20. Jimmy, go get a haircut and a shave already! You can afford to get a barber come to your house. Did you just roll out of bed???
  21. I just watched this episode on the first season DVD tonight. It's eerie now. 😲
  22. I highly doubt any kind of 2020 season will happen now. 😭 https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/several-mlb-players-team-staff-members-test-positive-for-covid-19-per-report/
  23. My sister got married at age 21, and she and her husband will be celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary next month. (No, she wasn't pregnant.) There are exceptions to the rule. All the best to Bindi and her husband.
