  1. The only two credible ones were the conman and the copycat, but even those stories has some handwaving attached to them. The conman looked nothing like the sketch, while the copycat could have posed for it.
  2. A fun episode that centered on background characters. How did Skinner get away with returning a damaged car? Skyline "Chili" is nasty and should only be served in penitentiaries. For a brief second, I though the Finch character was being voiced by Stephen A. Smith.
  3. Jeez, talk about choppy editing. A reunion scene with Jesus would have been nice. Are we supposed to ship the fighter and the blonde now? Getting tired of the hyper-Christian rhetoric from Becky. Take some responsibility already.
  4. Good episode. Wish I had BBC One. I guess Lyra does recognize the betrayal. I find it sort of funny that Serafina is played by a Ruta, and the other main witch is named Ruta.
  5. Nice to see a timeloop episode where it wasn't the same scenes over and over with a bit more figured out. (I thought for sure the "running into Stamets and knocking stuff over" bit would be replayed ad nauseam.) Still interested and will continue to watch on broadcast.
  6. Lorca is slow-playing the rescue for personal reasons, obviously. I like James Frain and am pleased to see him not playing the villain. His portrayal of Sarek is on point for me.
  7. Like everyone else, Nicole's china doll forehead is distracting. Her eyes are also buggy. I was glad that she called the cops, though. Only smart thing she did the whole episode.
  8. I thought for sure the pothead was going to spill the beans about who he really is. So Yopi was a former boxer? She took too many shots to the head. Creepy kidnapping dude is creepy.
  9. Radha Mitchell did a great job. I knew Samantha Mathis' character would have more screen time, she's more than just a one-scene guest star.
  10. I'm surprised they got away with all the spoken "fake Italian" nonsense.
  11. Very uneven show. Some good skits, some lame skits, and a weak musical guest. For having three (3!!) guitarists, the Foos sounded listless and thin.
  12. Was Beck really singing "Dongshaker, Dongshaker" instead of "Matchmaker, Matchmaker"? Yikes.
  13. Mine was how overrated they are. Critical darlings with minimal talent.
  14. Even in his "prime", Franken wasn't really funny.
  15. Continuing to watch this on broadcast because I'm not paying CBS. It's slowly gaining steam, and it hasn't lost my interest yet.
  16. That's what I took away from it, except Franken presented his point in the most inane way possible.
  17. I'm starting to think that Eugene's "visions" are kinda like the scene in 12 Monkeys where Jennifer imagines she's a super spy robbing a museum when nothing could be further from the truth. (Emily Hampshire is awesome.) Don't sweat it
  18. FINALLY! At least it makes perfect sense and it's not some dumbass reference nobody would get.
  19. I guess, if the "Peaked in High School" look is your thing.
  20. Would love to see David perform this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuSlrEoPWoQ
  21. Wow. You can really tell how much Janelle has gone overboard with her vanity though the years. She should spend some of that time and money on her personality. Neither her nor Kaysar deserve AFP. Production should have fixed the cheap-ass tricycle, because that was bullshit. (Kudos to Bayleigh for soldiering though.) Since it was a triathlete punishment, were there two other things we didn't get to see? It looked like there was more equipment set up. Of course, no mention of the Ian-shaming.
  22. Finally watched Part 9. Too much artsy-fartsy filmmaking and not enough substance for the subject at hand. One final takeaway - the biggest evidence (to me) at how much Keith is a fraud was laid out on his whiteboard, where he misspelled the simple words 'stolen' (as "stollen") and 'visible' (as "visable"). Genius my ass.
  23. Paul still bringing the snark. If he wasn't such an asshole, this would be more enjoyable. I like Slattery in this so far.
  24. It was actually Flavor-Aid, but I understand!
  25. Just started watching, and the thing I immediately noticed is that good ol' Mark has his face blurred out in pictures. (You can't miss the fivehead.) Interesting.
