Meri's sounding more desperate. Does she have a balloon payment coming due on the B & B? So she has a dill with a nearby gym? They must be hard-up, too.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I've said it before, but I'd sooner dial up Miss Cleo, the phony psychic! I can't believe Janelle rilly believes she's helping anyone. She's obeying Kootie, once again, like when she knuckled under and went along with their move to Flagstaff. Spineless. -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I heard that on the news this morning. I knew they had compounds in Mexico, but I didn't put that together with being related to Christine. Tragic. -
The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

Ugh. He just has that smug, entitled look, and he has nothing to qualify him to run for any elected office, anywhere. He's Beavis to Jer's Butthead, or maybe the other way around. 🤮 Does this smug asswipe have a prayer to actually get elected, anywhere? Please, no. -
Joe & Kendra: Looking Forward To Side Hugs

Exactly! One of my favorite movies from that time. Addie Pray! -
I wish she'd stop with the dark hair dye. Maddie will have grey roots soon enough. Go back to blonde!

I've only heard Addison as a last name, before this. Are they going to call her Addie? She is cute. -
I hate that, too. "Wifey" also sucks.

Joan, great, insightful post.

I've heard pickle juice is good for something, but I don't remember for what. Sorry, I couldn't do it. Pickles are high in sodium, and I have to watch that.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
True. My dad also liked bourbon and said it was "an acquired taste." I love red wine, but I never acquired a taste for bourbon! He also smoked Camel unfiltered cigarettes, but I said no to those, although I did smoke Winstons as an older teen. A terrible bout of bronchitis made me quit, for good. I don't know who could afford cigarettes nowadays. -
Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

@Mahamid Frauded Me, you have figured out Janelle's plan. I remember in my teens that one could keep from gaining weight by only having one day a week as an "eat day." Janelle does that every day from the looks of it, so it's no wonder she's in the sad shape that she is. National Sardines Day kind of makes me sick. My dad used to snack on them when I was young, and what was called Kipper Snacks, yuck! -
I can identify with klutz. I am a regular walker (when you get to be my age, it's needed) and I've tripped and fallen on just a slight irregularity in pavement, in dry weather. I do look down more than I used to, since then. Mariah is a huge phony. She's all about herself, looking woke, and being unbearably pretentious. Since her also phony parentage decided to make their lives "public" via TLC, she's been corrupted since her teens. I feel sympathy for Audrey. It's almost like Mariah's "sister wife" is her social media. If they do go through with a weddingk, I'm not hopeful that it's going to last.

Don't tell that to Queen Robyn. She'd cut you like a knife. 😛 K & C's kids have been my favorite for a long time. Excepting Mykelti (who I always believed "shoulda" been Meri's, with her entitlement Bridezilla attitude) they seem like good kids.

No idea here. I'm a clueless old lady (COL on the Sister Wives forums) and I don't get the whole influencer thing. I'd ask my daughter, but I'm sure I still wouldn't get it. I just find it tacky as hell that people of means expect handouts every time they turn around. There are people that aren't on Instagram or that don't have internet access, that surely could use freebies like these much more than these folks, who grift at every opportunity.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

All I know is that I wouldn't be in her shoes for all the TeeVee $ in the world. Honestly, I don't know how she bears up with such adversity. It's not in my DNA, that's for sure. -
Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp
xwordfanatik replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
She's become my favorite, too. Although I didn't care for Austin at first, if Joy's happy with him, then that's what matters. She's shown more grace in her young age than I would have expected, and she's a beautiful young woman, inside and out. I admire her faith. -
Thank you, I guess I didn't see that commercial, or tuned it out! I tend to do that, especially when I'm typing on my laptop, like now. Now I remember, he and Kootie and others? wore khakis to C & M's weddingk. It's been awhile.

Me too. I don't like Lauren from what's been shown on TV, but having been diagnosed years ago with major depression, it sucks. Luckily I believe in treatment, and I still take a low dose antidepressant every day. My mother had it, so it may have a genetic tendency. My daughter is aware she may develop it, but so far, so good.

Great post. Joe seems easygoing enough to be of help with his own kids, and shame on him if he doesn't do anything around the house.
-
But why aren't they all in flip-flops? Just kidding; they look great! Name tags are a nice touch, as is the Jessa hairdo on the young lady in front.
-
They are a cute family. But Caleb just looks like he usually does. It's nice they left Axel's binky out of the picture. I guess I don't understand pacifiers, as my daughter never liked them.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
We used to do the same thing. No problem resisting candy we don't like. Janelle must like everything. I hate gumdrops, black licorice, anything with squishiness like marshmallows, and jelly beans. Peanuts and chocolate are irresistible to me. So I don't buy them.
