Snark Should Be Multiplied, Not Divided: General Show Discussion
xwordfanatik replied to sweet201's topic in Sister Wives
Just a question for you posters, if you choose to answer. Assuming that whomever wrote it would be truthful (BIG assumption), who among Kootie & the wives, would you wish would write a tell-all book? Same with their kids. Which of the younger set would you most like to write a tell-all book? I'd go with Janelle, and I'm still debating myself over which kid. -
@laurakaye, you are gifted! (and you have an eye for detail.) Love your observations.

Books and documentaries about polygamy: Let's gather them here!
xwordfanatik replied to CouchTater's topic in Sister Wives
I agree that some of the stuff is copy-catted by TLC. Big Love fan here, from "day one." I kept HBO just for that show and one or two others. -
Or mock tapioca puddin', another speciality of Christine, the Brown's very own chef!

S11.E15: Two Moms, Their Daughter, and a Baby
xwordfanatik replied to Kohola3's topic in Sister Wives
@Kyanight, you are very sharp on a Monday! LOL good one! Now I'm wondering if he did that with the 3 that were "all there from the beginningk!" That was rhetorical, I don't expect an answer. Don't rilly want to know. 🤮 -
Sycophants in droves for that sourpuss Meri. Ew! Haha, I haven't heard "bunghole" since Beavis and Butthead. George Carlin said the word "cornhole" wasn't used nearly enough. Heh.

I bought the Time-Life series of soul hits from the late 50's to the 80's. There must be 20 CD's or so. I grew up listening to Motown, The Beatles (actually saw them in their next-to-last concert in Seattle, when I was 12.) Most of the songs are on my iPod now. Remember "Float On" by the Floaters? "Tighten Up" by Archie Bell and the Drells? So many good songs.

Only if she ever listens to Her Royal Wokeness. But yeah, busty women need support.

I'm with you! I don't play computer games, but I do crosswords and other pencil puzzles, and everything else you do. I'm not an ex-sister wife, but I do kiss Lucy's head now and then. Oh yeah, Kootie, we're just dying to watch you on Robyn's sofa watching yourself on TV. So interested in watching SOMEONE potty-training Areola and SOMEONE homeschooling your heir to the throne, King Sol. I doubt your favorite wife is doing either one. There must be a sister-mom or someone sheltering with y'all doing those pesky chores. Endless ego, that Kootie.

I know I've mentioned this before, but Spectrum cable has all or nearly all Sister Wives on demand. It's supposedly valid until 2031. LOL

Will Gwen graduate this year? Pretty pictures. I hate her shoes. They look too big and like high-tops guys wore in the 60's. Sorry I had to snark about something. She's an attractive young woman.
-
You're probably right, @Kyanight. It would be problematic with Areola right next to them in bed. King Sol is what, 8 years old? He's probably got his own room at the palace.

Since I quit reading the paper, I don't know when WA will be allowing any businesses to reopen. I just pray it won't be too soon when it happens. My grey roots can wait for a long, long time. Not important at all. I do have some spray-on temporary color I could use, but I'm kind of curious as to what I'll look like. I have shoulder length curly hair. Ack! What if I end up looking like Kootie's mother? I don't have as many wrinkles, fortunately! 🤭
-
@laurakaye, I felt a lot like you did, watching the first episode. Very good recap! I agree, Meri & Kootie seemed very close in those days. How time has changed them.
-
This show gets more Kootie & Robyn every season (in other words, more phony and boring.) I still enjoy the snark, but that's all I'm going to miss when TLC gives them the heave-ho. I so would enjoy a fifth wife storyline, just to watch Queenie's head explode. Narcissist Kootie probably gobbles Viagra like candy. He's so whipped.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Most of the kids liked LV once they made friends there, and moved into the McMansions. Then Janelle had to go & knuckle under, move to Flagstaff, and this time it was another son, Gabe, that got screwed over. It's fortunate that he made the best of it and graduated early. Hopefully he is doing well in college. -
He's sniffing his hairy pit. Pudge loves doing that. However, the difference is she couldn't resist showing her butt to all of us un-woke minions. What a sight, UGH!

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Areola looks a lot like Hunter, too. Remember when Kootie said, "she's a sister from the same mister, and he's a brother from another mother?" Kootie genes must dominate the wive's genes. Whoopee. Hunter turned out very well. That move to LV was hardest on him. Paedon too. -
Even a broken clock is right twice in 24 hours! 😉 Looking at any Brown financial info would confuse the crap out of me. So would looking at their family tree. I can't dill with all those twists, turns, and miles of roads that go in circles and make no sense.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
xwordfanatik replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
Just all the shitty and pissy diapers would probably fill that sucker! How can these people even pretend to care about Earth Day, or anything to do with conservation? Fucking pretenders. -
Thank you @Kyanight, a little levity is what I needed! 🙂🙂

That's it! No tell-nothing episode this year.

I would have thought that every state would be restricted by now. I'm in WA, and at first just a few counties were locked down. When it became apparent that wasn't enough, the state closed all non-essential businesses, and I can't imagine that will change anytime very soon. Is the second wave of this going to happen largely because of not staying in lockdown long enough? Now I'm wondering which states aren't following recommendations. Not that I plan any travel for months, if not years. I told my doctor on our phone visit that I've quit reading the newspaper and watching the news. Mr. Xword isn't as freaked out about all this as I am, and I've asked him to only tell me things about this pandemic that I absolutely need to know. I do read here for helpful information, and I thank all of you for your posts. Twopper mentioning polio vaccine made me think about a cute guy I knew in high school. He got polio as a baby or toddler, and he was lucky to recover with the only lasting effect being a slight paralysis of his facial muscles, which made his smile a bit lop-sided. I had a huge crush on him, but sadly, he only had eyes for one of my girlfriends. And she wasn't interested! Ah, young love! ❤️

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Solitary is fine if that's one's choice. Christine married Kootie for 1/3 of his time, and after Robyn bewitched him, she got nothing, or close to it. I think like her big sisters Aspyn and Mykelti, Truely's going to latch on to the first guy that gives her attention. Daddy issues all over the place with this bunch. 😞 -
I had on hand some food service type gloves (rilly thin plastic, like Saran Wrap.) I use them when I make salsa and chop raw peppers. They look like Mickey Mouse gloves as they're one size fits most. I've been using them on my walks with hand lotion underneath, as I have dermatitis from all the hand washing (I'm OCD anyway, and never more so than now.) The last time my hands were in this shape was when I was changing my daughter's diapers 35+ years ago. At night, I slather on Working Hands creme. Great stuff. I'm on my way to Etsy to check out masks. I've sewn a couple with my vintage '72 sewing machine, and they look like crap, but they'll do for now. I've been having groceries delivered or using curbside pickup. I haven't been inside a store since the first week in March. Even when restrictions are eased up, I plan on remaining a hermit for the foreseeable future. I love reading here and hearing ideas and getting inspiration. Using sandwich bags is something I wouldn't have thought of, and it's a very good idea. If I have to use a drive-up ATM, I will be doing that.
