Joseph Smith. IMO a con artist, wanting to justify his cheating ass. It figures Kootie would hold him up on a pedestal.

Better Things Season 4 Discussion

Xander Hall (I think) is a loser. -
Not buying it either. Remember when she stormed out of the kitchen when the oldest girls were making breakfast for everyone, back a few seasons? How terrible it must have been to dill with that prima donna spoiled brat, for the other youngsters. Her bitten dirty nails and ragged cuticles do her no favors, either. Just what is this poseur trying to prove here?

Igpay Atinla, that's it! What a douche. Know-it-all jackass.

What a sick, twisted family. They are all kinds of awful, no news there. 🤯

IIRC, it was all Janelle's kids. Logan, Maddie, and the supposed culprit, Hunter. Way to punk that little bitch Mariah! I laughed.

Better Things Season 4 Discussion

Love, love, love the last episode. Uplifting and all-around wonderful. -
Wow, what a dream, @Kyanight! Heh. @Kohola3, you are so right. And @TurtlePower, as an over-60 lifelong introvert, I get it. I'm the least social person I know, married to a friendly extrovert. It's always been tough for me to make small talk and be the least bit social. I admire outgoing people, but it's just not me, and never will be. I'm happy to have you great people here to talk to. I look forward to reading your posts, never more so than now. Thank you all. ❤️

Heh. We had a dog many years ago that ate raspberries, and got his poor snout all scratched up in the process. Our long-departed cat loved beans, too. We don't garden, but a friend of ours has gifted us tomatoes and cucumbers every summer for years. He is probably out there watering as we speak. I'm going to look into AeroGarden, now that you enablers have clued me in. 🙂 I've not heard of it before.

I've never heard of that, but if Snowflake decides it's "woke" enough, we can bet on her promoting it to her sycophantic following. I'm willing to wager that most everyone that's watched the SW show from the beginning can't stand her. Make that most everyone that's got sense. 😉

Me too! We bought something else from our usual brand just after the New Year. We didn't like it as much, so bought the usual brand in February, just before everything went nuts with hoarding. My mom only had an 8th grade education, but she was very smart. She had to quit school to help take care of the younger kids. No wonder she only had two kids, what with having been a sister-mom before she left home and moved west, got a job, met my dad, and got married.

I know what you mean, @Kohola3! I may have to start braiding it at night, it's getting so long. I signed off Facebook over a year ago. I'm very glad I did, I can't imagine reading there now. These fools that take unnecessary risks baffle the crap out of me. Nobody is 10 feet tall and bulletproof, as the saying goes.

Here's a real-life story, told to me by my late mother, who grew up during the Depression. Mom grew up on a farm in the Dakotas. They had little or no indoor plumbing, and had an outhouse. They couldn't afford toilet paper. Guess what they used instead? Sears catalogue pages! All the toilet paper scarcities lately have brought that story to mind. Those Depression-era folks must have been tough! 😆

Maddie: byproduct is one word, not two. Yes, she rilly needs to be happy her darling little girl is standing up. Who rilly cares if kids leave fingerprints on everything? On a screen? Looks like a window, anyway. You sound like your not-such-a-bonus mom, Neat Freak Meri.

Yes to all this. Thank you @Kyanight for sharing what it was like to live polygamy. I am happy you were obviously strong and smart to leave that life behind. I don't see how it can work, either. Jackwad men who foist this on their wife when they get a "calling" or "testimony" for it should be ashamed of themselves for that selfish, "all about ME" crap. You have a lot of love here.

@Kyanight, I missed what was on your blank posts. I'm interested, and wish you hadn't deleted them. Please consider reposting what you wanted to share.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

Rivaling her "bonus" daughter Mariah's axe handle wide butt! -
I'd like to know how she is staying so blonde, what with hair salons closed and all. Jer will be looking into that, whatzit? Bosley Hair thing very soon. Not sure that's what it's called, but Chris Knight aka Peter Brady swears by it, according to the commercials.

That honeymoon episode was a classic. Janelle wouldn't answer Kootie's calls for days. They dished about how Robyn got 11 days, and they each got maybe three. Cold sore queen for the win!

Remember when Mykelti said that when she turned 18, she'd get piercings and tats "everywhere?" Mariah's nose rings bug me, too. The above picture looks to be a womxn in her 40's. Poor doggy! ☹️ He's probably used to Ms. Stinky Pits by now.

Snark Should Be Multiplied, Not Divided: General Show Discussion
xwordfanatik replied to sweet201's topic in Sister Wives
I'm reading two books alternately, now (I do that a lot.) One is about Chris Watts (free but not rilly, Kindle Unlimited.) I watched a Lifetime movie recently about him & his family. And back in the day, I read Amber Frey's book about Scott Peterson. I'm with you...can't wrap my head around either case. How they are still alive in prison and not suicidal with guilt is beyond me. The girlfriends they used, what a terrible thing to realize you'd been sleeping with a monster. There are worse men than Kootie, that's for sure. But he's still a jackass. -
I'm tempted to ask you who it was, but I won't. I love it here, and it's interesting to hear what you all have to say. When I used to read the local paper (before Corona) the editorial page is the one I enjoyed reading the most. I watched an old SW episode the other day. It was the one where Aspyn, Logan, and Maddie went to visit some of the ex-FLDS young people. One (I think her name was Kolleen) was a Kingston escapee. There were two ladies from an organization called Holding Out Hope. The one named Kerri looked like a blonde version of the Darger twins. Anyway, keep posting, everyone. ❤️

Snark Should Be Multiplied, Not Divided: General Show Discussion
xwordfanatik replied to sweet201's topic in Sister Wives
For me, it comes down to Gabe, Garrison, Savanah, or Truely. Since Gabe is the latest to get yanked away from his previous achievements, I'll go with Gabe. The reason I picked Janelle is to rilly find out what happened with Meri's brother, and hear details about what a witch Meri was to her, especially early on. Her conversion from LDS to AUB or whatever plyg organization the Browns are in, would also interest me. Why did she change? What made her decide to do that? Was it mainly her lust for Kootie? What made her leave the family, and more importantly, what made her return? Meri's take on the whole mess would be interesting, too, even though I can't stand her. Once she leaves, which I'm sure she'll do once the show is gone, she would likely spill it, but she'd still play the victim instead of the villain, IMO. -
I make fun of Robyn's oversize jaw, and maybe I shouldn't, but since she's so irritating to me in general, and Kootie's blatant favorite (along with her kids) that I can't help myself sometimes. She has pissed me off in so many ways, from "day one." I also dislike Meri and Mariah, and have made fun of their appearances too. Meri was HBIC and was abusive to Janelle. Mariah pretends to care about stuff that she obviously doesn't. She talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. She's spoiled and selfish, just like her mother. Kootie is a pain in the ass to a lot of his family, so he deserves snark. Just his favoring Robyn so relentlessly, and expecting the other women to "suck it up, buttercup" brings out the worst in me. We do have the option here of ignoring posters that say things we don't like. I've never ignored anyone here, and I don't mind if others have a different opinion than I do.
