They're definitely going the Maya/Lucas direction because she did react to him wrapping his arm around her to keep her from killing Farkle earlier. Topanga looked beautiful in her superhero shot, but Cory exited via trapeze, so I'm torn.

Not a huge fan of the episode but I love the fact that Shawn knows he's pulling an untrue It's a Wonderful Life thing. Self-aware Shawn is a good Shawn and season 5 did have several of those moments.

I loved Oliver criticizing Barry's "way with metahumans." I read a fanfic where a newly discovered metahuman basically thought Flash was a serial killer, and couldn't help but think of that in that scene.

Why do I suddenly think they'll either just have gotten him out or be about to and then he'll die?

One thing I did like about Maya's reaction of "He's gonna stop doing that" is that she's the kind of person who doesn't want anything to be harder for her friends and that's why she didn't want Farkle to have it. When Smackle said she had it, she was supportive because that was how she could help in that moment.

I thought he would die in the season finale (or Henry would), but they threw me off by killing Eddie. The fact that Ronnie's not in the room, but Martin and everyone else is when Jay Garrick says their world is in danger makes me nervous that he did die during the singularity. I want him and Caitlin to at least get the summer together.

I think he's had sex at some point because he's 26 and I don't think they've ever implied he was a virgin. Don't know if he and Linda ever actually had sex or not.

Every time I read a Pablo Neruda quote, my first thought is "I am familiar with the works of Pablo Neruda."

That was actually really well done. Farkle stayed true to the character, and his friends' arguments turned out to be correct. They telegraphed Smackle having Asperger's pretty early on, and I appreciate that it was treated as totally obvious. Everyone was so wonderfully used including Jennifer Bassett aka the Terminator. Minkus had more personality here than I ever remember him having on BMW. The Minki are such a weird little power couple; they're great. No wonder Farkle wants to rule the world. I loved how Farkle used The Face to get Riley to marry him. I like the Farkle/Lucas friendship as much as the Maya/Riley one. Random thing I liked - they've used that black Maya shirt with the Peter Pan collar about 3 times since she bought it with Shawn (or ones like it). I like that there's some believably to Maya having a limited wardrobe. But they killed the "Is he a clone?" joke!

Just picturing that in my head was great, with Caitlin's terrible wide-eyed lie face as she chugs her drink rather than answer.Also, I want the CW series to acknowledge the Supergirl series. I understand if they can't bring them together for real, but since we're establishing multiple worlds on The Flash, please have Cisco reference something about that series only to be like, "wait, never mind, wrong universe."
