  1. I watched an episode of Justified (season 2), and it guest-starred Herschel, and the guy that what's his name said he'd killed in the cabin - the cannibal. (I can't believe I can't remember their names, but I've had no caffeine today.)
  2. I saw something about Hannibal receiving 100% at Rotten Tomatoes. I couldn't save the link, because I wasn't on my computer at the time.
  3. I thought it would probably end the way it did, but I was hoping that he would kill the judges, as well. I also can't watch more than one of these at a time. I had to turn my face away, and turned down my headphones until I could barely hear anything, with the pig segment. This one, I watched just before going out Christmas shopping, and I was wishing that I'd put on Christmas Vacation instead. The episodes are well done, but too heavy. I'm sure I've seen part of the first episode before, but I read that they've only been broadcast on DirecTV until now, so I'm not sure where I would have seen it. I remember the part where it showed the faces of everyone watching, and the girl collapsing on the bridge. I wasn't sure if she had planned to be a part of it all along, or if she was really kidnapped.
  4. I can't believe this show is still on the air. I found it on-demand yesterday afternoon, and fell asleep after the one girl felt bad for yelling at Madison, when she appeared with money the next morning. I, too, feel old now. I guess someone else covered Madison when she went to the club, after the big freak-out over her not paying her share? That guy, trying to make up to both girls? Really? He's kissing one girl, and then wanting to make sure that he doesn't lose his chance with the openly jealous one. So childish. As were both girls. Madison deliberately flashing the men... ugh. Since this is "the real world", I wish they would have them working, somehow. One guy called the show a vacation. The people in the first season were actually working, or studying, weren't they? God, I was sixteen or seventeen when that aired.
  5. I think this was my favourite episode. I love it when they really tell a story, rather than just killing people off, and showing a lot of gore. This is the sweetest that I've seen Elsa, but I don't like that she got what she wanted, in Hollywood. She should have taken Pepper with her. And even though the Sister misconstrued Pepper's tears, I was happy to see her show her some real love and compassion, hug her, and get her out of the cell.
  6. If the seasons are tied together, then I wonder how they're going to tie in seasons one and three. The asylum was in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Did the family from the first season, move from Boston to L.A?
  7. I love the black and white version (I think that's Alastair Sim's version), and Patrick Stewart's. I also didn't mind the Disney version that I watched two years ago, on ABC Family. My present-wrapping tradition is me, A Christmas Carol, with hot tea, Christmas lights, in the middle of the night. On Christmas Eve, I have to watch It's a Wonderful Life, for Clarence, and I like the reminder that things could have been much worse for the people in his life, if George had never existed. I've had no Christmas spirit this year - almost none. I haven't watched much of anything, but I have movies recorded. I did watch a silly one called, "A Bride For Christmas" trying to get into the mood. I should put on Christmas Vacation, and Scrooged. I also loved A Diva's Christmas Carol, but haven't seen it on TV for years. Also, I'm forgetting the two actresses names - Susan Lucci was one. I can't believe i've forgotten the name of another actress, unless I'm thinking of the wrong movie. I also love The Snowman, and Father Christmas (although I remember it as, Another Bloomin' Christmas): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Q4fOjWRoSw
  8. I agree. You can see the heartbreak in her eyes. I also liked Lane sneaking into her room, and giving her a kiss when she was sleeping.
  9. I've missed this show, but I thought something was off about it, too. Including the makeup on Zoe. One of my favourite parts was the Belle meeting, when Cricket said that discovering she was gay, was like the time she realized that she didn't look good in yellow, and they all nodded/understood.
  10. Have they not aired all of the episodes in reruns? I thought I'd just watched the final episode, after recording them when it suddenly disappeared from on-demand. The last thing I saw was Tawney and Daniel in the motel.
  11. So the sadness from others, regarding her exit, is all fake? Norman Reedus saying that he woke up feeling depressed, even though it wasn't filmed recently?
  12. She hasn't been an actress, as long as most of the others have been working, and she was with them for almost four years. She couldn't put a fake smile on her face, after losing what has been her life for so long. I don't fault her for that. I've seen comments from other actors that are no longer alive on the show, who don't watch it at all, now that they aren't a part of it. Yes - I found it refreshing.
  13. I remember a woman with a bird, that also distracted them all from whatever she'd asked. I felt bad for Emily Kinney, and was thinking the same thing about the show: that they must be the nicest group of people.
  14. I remember reading that Abraham Lincoln had some involvement with the Occult.
  15. I loved the episode, too. It also left me wishing that we could just have the actors from the show on every week.
  16. I shouldn't have checked this thread. I watched some, but not all, of the show, back at the end of July/beginning of August, and then got distracted by other things. I'm catching up on Netflix. I'm sorry the show was cancelled.
  17. I'm wondering what they'll come up with next, in order to bring back characters, when they supposedly die. I liked Damon's call to Bonnie's phone. I cringed when the doctor wouldn't drag Alaric back over the border (at least try to).
  18. I was just talking about the one with the health inspector and Manuel's rat. (?) It's been too long since I watched this show.
  19. I watched one episode, and meant to tune in again. I'll have to catch up with the on-demand channel.
  20. It wasn't the best show on television, but I still looked forward to it. :(
  21. I've just watched some of the deleted scenes that were mentioned, here: I'm sad that the Vatos won't be back, and that they were killed by the Governor, but I also think what I've watched would have made for a better opening for Season 2. I wonder if they thought it was too soon, given that they didn't introduce the Governor until Season 3. I wasn't sure where to put this, so I moved it here...

Moving my post to another thread...
  23. I've just watched the episode that I think was titled, "Haunted Leg." At the end of the episode, I thought the scene between Rory and Jess was similar to the one that had just happened between Lorelai and Christopher. I've never noticed that before. Christopher wanted to spend time with Lorelai and Rory, and she has to remind him that he's engaged, and has a baby on the way. Rory is mad at Jess, for having a girlfriend, and he has to remind her that she's still with Dean, and has shown no signs of leaving. On another note: one of the most touching parts of the show, was when Lane was afraid to go home, after the show she was supposed to play, falls through. Mrs Kim's expression, and her tone, as she realized that her daughter called Luke, and Rory, instead of her... that gets me every time. And the moment when Lane is feeling jealous of the girl who moves in with her mother, when she sneaks into the house, and kisses her Mum's cheek when she's sleeping. As strict as she was, she really thought she was raising her daughter in the right way, doing what was best for her. I loved it when they showed a new side of her, like when she poured Lane a shot, after her break-up with Zach, and she was even nastier to people than her mother.

I was just going to reference the same bit! That's one of my favourite scenes. I guess it was the cannibals, and Rick's tearing out that man's throat, that really brought in some viewers, but I also want more scenes like the one you mentioned.
  25. I'm listening to "Lights" by Josh Ritter, and thought it's a shame that the only decent boyfriend Ingrid has had, is dead.
