  1. Kim Cattrall will appear in Season 2 of And Just Like That... Cattrall will make a brief cameo appearance in the Season 2 finale. I am a disappointed that Kim is doing this; I thought she said she was done with the show and had moved on. Of course, people can change their minds...
  2. I couldn't keep any of the Saxon's straight. All their names stated with an A, and they sounded alike. I've thought about reading the books, but there's no way I would be able to keep who was who straight. At least on the show I had faces... I watch the movie last night and I was so confused. Who was this woman that showed up at Bebbanburg? Who was her kid? It seemed like she was into Uhtred which was also confusing since for the life of me I had no idea who she was. Hearing her name didn't help because well they all sound the same to me. I had to google who was who since I was so confused; they changed the actress from the series which didn't help. I liked the movie, but it would have worked better as a season. Everything felt too rushed.
  3. I am losing interest in the show.... Where are the crazy rescues?
  4. I like that about this show too! It feels more grounded, and it is easier for me to forget I'm watching a tv show. Most shows would have everyone look stunning and glamorous and even the "ugly" people would be pretty. Not saying anyone on this show is ugly but they look like normal everyday people. Eileen's hair is awful, but it is her too short pants that I keep finding distracting. I keep thinking does she look to Urkel for fashion advice?
  5. I can't stand Maya. Yes, it is true Beckett might have gone and bought a bottle of his favorite alcohol and brought it back to work, so he could drink during work hours. BUT Maya made it extremely easy for Beckett to drink at work. If she hadn't given him the bottle Beckett would have had to make the decision to go to the store, buy a bottle, and then decide to bring it back to the station. This would take effort on Beckett's part, and he easily could have changed him mind at any point. Maya giving Beckett the bottle was just a horrible thing to do to someone she knew had an issue with alcohol. And no Ben, she doesn't get a pass because Beckett was an ass or because Maya was in a dark place. I also can't stand any of the station 19 crew. I don't think the writers were going for me, the viewer, to be cheering that the crew was getting yelled at and rooting for them to get fired.
  6. Same! At the end when they said it's "Toby Crenshaw" I'm thinking who's that? I agree whoever decided to have a 4-month break should be fired. However, I think ABC wanted the show to fail. I liked that too! Most shows would have had Eileen not open up to the shrink. I do really like the show; it doesn't have all this forced "drama": If this was a Shonda Lynn Rhimes show: Eileen and the editor would always be fighting, there would be a love triangle in the office, Eileen would be sleeping with the Boss Aaron, Eileen and Roz would still be refusing to work together, and everyone would be making out and sleeping with their love interest at the workplace and hoping not to get caught. ETA: Not saying that there's anything wrong with Shonda Lynn Rhimes shows, I'm just a bit tired of everyone on shows not acting like normal adults.... Or maybe I just haven't work in exciting enough places where all this drama actually happens. 🙂
  7. This is me. I am just lost. I don't understand why the characters are acting the way they are. I don't really understand the characters motivations... I don't get Geralt and Yen's Love story. I also found season 2 slow and boring. I didn't like season 1 either, mostly because Yen's whining "They took my choice" got very old very quickly and the unneeded nudity. I'm not sure I'll be watching season 3; oh, who am I kidding if there's nothing else on, I'll watch.
  8. This could have been good... But it needed way more episodes to flush out the characters and their motivations. I actually was interested in the characters and getting to know them, but everything thing was rushed, and there wasn't enough time for me to be invested in the characters. I watched season 2 of the Witcher and I actually liked this better which isn't a good sign for Witcher season 3.
  9. I'm so annoyed they killed Zeke! I liked Zeke; he was one of the few characters I did like. I also do not like that Zeke died so annoying Cal could survive. I'm not surprised the writers killed off Zeke because now the way is clear for the "one true love paring" Mick and Jared. Barf barf barf. I also agree the writers really threw Zeke under the bus. I felt like the whole point to Zeke's story was to show the audience that Zeke is messed up and Jared is the better option for Mick! The whole time I was like Mick your husband just killed someone maybe idk you should check in with him instead of hanging out 24/7 with your ex. I do not want to watch a love triangle between Mick, Jared, and Drea; we all know how it'll turn out. And I still don't understand why Mick still has feeling for Jared he was a controlling ass in the first seasons.
  10. I don't like that it's not obvious which forums have new posts.
  11. I don't get why Jared doesn't want Michael to know he's dating Drea... The show makes it seems like they have been dating for a while.
  12. So, I thought the hate Zeke showed was from the counseling session and taking that guys hate away. I still don't like Ben. Poor Olive and Cal it's obvious who's the favorite kid. Hopefully now that Ben has his precious Eden back, he can act more human. Cal coughing up blood makes me think his childhood cancer is back. I am annoyed that Angelina is still alive.
  13. Amelia and Kai are horrible they have no chemistry. And doesn't Kai not want kids and/or doesn't want to be around them? That is usually a deal breaker for people who already have kids. But the writers are never going to break Amelia up with Kai because they think the pairing is wonderful. 🙄 I liked Amelia and Linc; until the writers ruined them. But that doesn't mean I want Linc with Jo.
  14. So, after two years Michaela is still in love with Jared? ugh just ugh... what is wrong with her? Yes, Jared is hot, but he was an ass to her when she came back. Also, that flash back did not make me think OMG they need to be together; it reminded me Jared has no boundaries. However, if after two years Michaela still loves Jared in the romantic way, she needs to divorce Zeke and tell Jared how she feels. Ben is unlikable. He as two other kids!!! But the way he's acting Eden was his only child. And he can say it all he wants that he doesn't blame Cal, but he's lying. Also, if they all felt Angelina was so dangerous idk maybe they should have moved the hide-away-key; she did live with them, and it is possible she could have found the key without Cal. I feel so bad for Cal. How old is he supposed to be now? The actor is doing a good job. Anna deciding Ben was a good guy and instead of telling him Eden was at her house she told Angelina that she needed to get out. That make perfect sense... NOT...
  15. Long post here: I wanted someone to get struck by lightning while they were trying to get that guy and his chair extracted out of the helicopter. I wanted Beckett to be right. I know he's an ass and a jerk etc. but everyone else is annoying me so much that I'm rooting for Beckett. That scene where the whole crew is arguing with Beckett because they just know they are sooo special and can save the guy in the helicopter annoyed the heck out of me. I mean yes if it's possible they should try and extract the guy so there's a chance he's not paralyzed, but Beckett wasn't wrong if taking the time to extract the guy & the chair increases the risk to the firefighters and the risk to the guy in the helicopter then the correct action is to get the guy out of the helicopter asap. I'm sure I was supposed to view that rescue as proof Vic is right that everyone at 19, except Beckett, are over achievers and Beckett is a lazy ass who just wants to get a paycheck. However, I don't think over achievers is how I would describe firehouse 19.... People who have no boundaries with their coworkers and people who have inflated senses of their abilities is how I would describe them. I know I'm supposed to be rooting for Andi to become captain of 19, but I don't think she's ready. Also, when she does become captain, she needs to be transferred to a different station. I do not think she can transition from being friends/coworkers to being her old coworker's boss. I thought that was obvious in her scene with Maya. I agree with the above. Andi is immature, arrogant and belligerent, but I think I'm supposed see her as a strong individual who stands up for what she feels is right and doesn't take shit from no one. Lately I'm finding her extremely annoying. Whenever Beckett gives her an order, she doesn't agree with she argues with him during a rescue. Or makes a big public scene like the one she made after the battery fire. "If you aren't going to be the captain this firehouse needs and bring us together as a family then I WILL". Then last night she throws in Beckett face "what happened out there? You froze." I love Becketts answer you wanted to play at being captain, so I let you now go and deal with Maya since you want my job so much. That was immature on Beckett's part since he should be dealing with Maya; however, what did Andi want from him? To jump in and take orders from her during the helicopter rescue? Also, at this point I feel like Andi wouldn't be able to make the tough calls. Say if someone was still trapped in a building and the building was about to come down. Andi would still send firefighters into the building to try and save the person because she would believe in her team's ability to save them. Just like she believed she could put out the battery fire by I guess sheer belief. This-- every time someone brings up that Beckett isn't the captain they need. I think what he's not telling you how wonderful you are? He's not trying to be your BFF? He's not getting involved in your personal business? He's not giving inspirational speeches during recues? Would I want him as a boss probably not, but he seems competent in the field. I don't remember any rescue where he really F**ked up. I guess you can point to the helicopter one. but that could be argued was a judgement call to keep everyone safe. Beckett deliberately getting Theo's last name Ruiz wrong is an asshole move, but I thought Theo lecturing Beckett on how he needs to talk to the crew in a specific way while they are at an active recue was out of line. If everyone at 19 have such a problem with Beckett, go to HR or have a conversation privately with him. It probably won't go well, but I can tell you chastising your boss in public is not the way to go. If I was Beckett and Theo, who use to be a captain, and Andi, who wants to be captain at 19, were constantly telling me how to do my job, I would have an issue with them as well. Also, I am over Maya; she's never been exactly a nice person, but she crossed a line when she gave Beckett that alcohol. And I would be fine if she died. At this point the only person I'm interested in is Jack and he's the only reason I'm still watching.
  16. I like that Michaela and Zeke are still together. Of course, that means we're probably in store for the whole Michaela only stayed with Zeke because he didn't die, and she is still in love with Jared.
  17. I agree! I was pissed off that Minhi had to share the win....
  18. What I read is The Crown will now end in 2005 with the wedding of Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. It was apparently going to end is in 2002 when the Queen lost both her mother and her sister. According to the article "sources also say the door is open to a sequel covering the brothers and their dad. [...] Just a few things that have happened since Charles and Camilla's wedding. Prince William's marriage to Kate Middleton, Prince Andrew's scandal(s), Prince Philip's death, and Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle and their subsequent departure from the royal family." ttps://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a40663793/the-crown-ending-explosive-royal-wedding-sequel/ I hope really hope that they don't do a sequel.
  19. Based on this and how season 3 went Michaela and Jared are totally end game. Barf... barf... barf...
  20. Ding-dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch! Ding-dong! The Wicked Witch is dead. That's what went through my head. Liam and Fallon are totally going to be suspects in the witch's death. They just had a very public argument with the deceased where she threatened to removed Liam from her will. I don't think Adam did a very good job wiping all his fingerprints off. Also, wouldn't it have been better to have turned her back over? With her on her back it looks more like murder where if Adam had turned her back over on her stomach it might look more like the accident that it was. Kirby and Amanda. I don't care. I'm bored with the story. I'm also bored with Michael's story. I don't think the writers know what to do with him. I can't remember why Amanda hates Adam so much and is intent on ruining his career. I've never like Adam, but good job Amanda, you made me feel just a bit sorry for him.
  21. Random thoughts: So, the sex scene between King Canute and Queen Emma I was really distracted by Canute's wiggly toes.. The tournament really highlighted that Freydis is quite a bit taller than the other Shield Maidens.. Lefi is totally going to convert to Christianity..
  22. My theory on why Charlotte is engaged to the farm Ralph is her father made her.
  23. So, I don't know if I buy that Sam's dad has cancer and what Sam saw was the dad taking his medication.... I think the dad came up with that story because he's really a drug addict. I also think that when he took the horse for a walk, he drugged her.
  24. I want to like this show more than I do.... All the characters are one dimensional; they seem to have just one trait ambitious, social climber, naive, shady, conniving, stuck in the past, etc. and that's all there is to the character. Also, there are too many characters and it's hard to be invested in any of them. It's disappointing the show had the potential to be really interesting. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I'm I guess indifferent to it. My HBO renews tomorrow and I'm unsure if it's worth paying $14.99 to finish watching the rest of the episodes.
  25. Not really. I like them together. I think it was a bit rushed them getting together, but I thought Jared was a dick to Michaela when she returned. He would not give her time to process. Jared pushed Michaela to talk to his wife even though to Michaela it had to feel like she was finding out that her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend, he brought his wife to the station where Michaela had to interact with her, pushed Michaela to hang out with him and his wife, assigned himself as her partner, constantly was in her business, Michaela asked him to give her time he did not, kept telling her this was their second chance. After they slept together Michaela said it was a mistake Jared dismissed her feelings. When Michaela started dating Zeke he kept following Zeke and trying to get dirt on him. He even arrented Zeke because he was sure that he was shady and he was just looking out for Michaela. I felt Jared was that creepy Ex that wouldn't let the girl move on. I do not find him and Michaela a great love story, but I am sure I am supposed to
