Billie knew back in s13 about other universes because she knew that Jack ripped a hole to the AU so why wouldn't she know that Chuck was destroying those worlds?

Honestly, Sam needs to STFU. His rant at Dean was stupid. And frankly his anger made no sense at all. It came out of the blue. Did Sam bother to ask Dean how long he had known about Jack's situation before flipping out? Has Sam forgotten about all the situations he failed to tell Dean particular information, as recently as s12...and then got mad at Dean when Dean was angry with him after the fact, after the 411 or lack thereof resulted in something bad happening? This could have been handled by Sam and Dean in a better way that didn't leave Dean as the bad guy. It could have been phrased that Sam was pissed because he was scared that Jack would die without him saying goodbye or something else. It could have been written that Sam was really just scared about losing Jack and let Dean know that. It sure as heck didn't come across as anything but Sam being pissed that he wasn't in the know...because Dean didn't think Sam could handle it. and thats all And I don't think Jared's acting here helped. I thought he way over played it that it became laughable. Or maybe he played it as written and directed. Either I felt sorry for both Jared and Jensen on that scene. What I really want to know, is what does Billie really mean when she is telling Dean to get his house in order? It almost feels like a trap episode for Dean, meaning he might take it as he has to get everyone in in the plan for Jack to die but still kill God. And yet I feel like there is really some other dumb lesson Dean has to learn (the metaphorical version of get his house in order). My hope is that neither of those things happen and Dean does his own thing that no one knows about.. one that saves them all, and doesn't go with either Jack's or Billies or whatever Cas is up to. Because that would be in character for Dean. Sadly, though, if he does come up with his own plan, and it does work, he'll get berated for it. Overall, I didn't like this episode much, was distracted by how much the actor playing Dean neither looked like nor embodied Dean like Dylan Everett did despite not looking much like Dean. The kid was a decent actor but i sure didn't think I was watching a young Dean Winchester. And that may be a result of the writing and directing more than the youth actor himself. Young Sam, was just... There to stare at college guide and be picked on by mean old Dean and be Dean's guilt trip. I've said it before, my worry is that the show is trying to turn Dean into John and the John that is a complete asshole not the young John who was idealistic. Given the lax treatment John got in Lebanon, I fear Drabb wants to make Dean into a worse father than John, by comparison. Yeah this episode was just , yuck.

Sounds like somebody wants a female version of SPN and SuperWiki is more than happy to push it since she was really pissed about Wayward Sisters never being picked up. Seems like they would do a gofundme or kickstarter campaign vs a petition for Netflix. At first I thought maybe it was the Hillywood Show gals since it's in Nevada, where they are from but it doesn't seem so. It's all strange.

I'll post the scene in the All Episodes thread. It's the clip from YouTube. It's as exactly as the transcript.

From the "Gimme Shelter" thread. Relating to the Amara discussion, here is the clip of the scene in question

I reread the TVLine article posted here and didn't see anywhere where it says or implies Roth is retiring. It says he is stepping down as Chairman of WBTV in early 2021. He says he looks forward to the next chapter of his career. That doesn't sound like retirement to me. I hope Jensen and Danneel's deal still leaves them with backers in their corner besides Roth.

I have no idea what the frak that episode was supposed to be. Never has a case been so boring. Never has Steve Bacic been boring until now. It was like watching an actual episode of "Highway to Heaven" ( which I found to be boring if sweet at times). Then Perez tried to insert some Saw type shit, which IMO has never worked in this show, I guess for shock value? I feel bad for Misha, who is a good actor, as we have seen in past seasons, and who can carry an episode when the writing is there for him. Cas has been reduced to nothing in favor of Jackie Sue and, man, that grates. At least, there was a fantastic showdown between Dean and Amara. The writing was utter shit and Retcon City and, thankfully, Jensen and Emily made it tense and watchable. It should have been one long unedited scene, including the beginning with Sam, and not switched back to the stupid case, which might have worked if the case had any parallel to Dean and Amara, which there wasn't really, until the complete rip-off and reuse of Dean's soul bomb arc. Badd is the worst. I will end on a positive note. Jensen brought his A+ game to the scene with he and Amara. His face would change when he thought of Mary in the past and the now. Unfortunately, the writing is still trying to retcon and now canonize the resurrected Mary, and erase what she really did after she was brought back but Jensen sold it to me that Dean isn't buying what Amara was selling bout the "lessons". As to the second part of the confrontation, Jensen clearly remembered that Dean was in Amara's thrall and that he couldn't hurt her when he told her he would never hurt her. Was Dean acting and she bought it? Or did Dean really slip back into that state of mind? Or was Dean not lying to her at all because he won't actually be the one hurting her and she understands that? All of that was in Jensen's performance and Emily played it IMO, that Amara herself couldn't tell if Dean was lying to her. And once again, given the writing for the rest of the episode, did Steve Yockey low key, give a hand to that? Or was that all Jensen and Emily?

I know she pulled back from YouTube, but the videos were up back then. Bummer if they are gone now. I'll poke around and see if I can find them elsewhere.

Speaking of time, I'm not even sure how much time elapsed in this episode. Did an entire year pass or were all the holidays in a week or what?

This episode was okay. I didn't entirely dislike it. I thought Mrs. Butters was interesting, and I thought the idea of her being stuck in the bunker was equally interesting. I was distracted by her name being Mrs. Butters because I kept waiting to see if she had offspring named Butters...(who is a South Park character) The only moment I thought had any kind of gravity was the scene between Dean and Jack. I was especially grateful that Jeremy Adams didn't have Dean apologize for his feelings and that he actually gave Dean an authentic voice about Mary. (Did Steve Yockey do some consulting with Adams before he left for good....hmmmm?). I wonder if the archangel blade will appear again before the end of the season. (That was the archangel blade rshe gave to Dean to kill Jack, right?). I am glad the monster detector was back on standby. I also wonder if the telescope will still come back into play before it's said and done. I don't care for the notion that the boys didn't do their laundry. We know that straight up isn't true because we've seen them at laundromats, and we have seen Dean iron Sam's shirts with beer so we know they do their laundry. I realize it gave Mrs Butters something to do, I just didn't like it. As for the bunker being dusty again, I say no to that bit because we know Dean cleans. If it was in the basement area where the standby button was..I guess that's a little better. In summation...I give this episode an overall....meh.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers
catrox14 replied to catrox14's topic in Supernatural
JFC, Dean can't even have that fantastic moment with Billie and the library for himself. -
For me, that would make it worse, because then the boys are being complete fools no matter what. And as a viewer, if this was the long game, I would have rather been in on the con even if the boys weren't. Then I could have been rooting against Billie, The Empty, whatever. But I don't think Drabb is that clever and his one good writer left, who might have been able to pull off that kind of a twist and make it work. Drabb is writing a cartoon, IMO

Supernatural Bitterness & Unpopular Opinions: You All Suck
catrox14 replied to mstaken's topic in Supernatural
I think Dabb and Singer want it to be OTT and campy. -
For me, if they do make that reveal, it will be worse because that will make the boys look more foolish than they already do.

Watchmen was brilliant! Highly recommend!

If Misha's words mean anything (and sometimes he does troll fans), he said that he was happy with Castiel's ending, because it is final. In the past, Misha said he wants Cas to die sacrificing himself. If he's happy then I think Cas dies for Stupid Jack, in 18 or 19. I expect him to have a cameo in 20 as a final farewell to the boys. All of which could have been filmed before 20 and they edit it in.

It almost looked to me like that convo between Dean & Sam, and later Dean &Cas , was from one of the earlier episodes in S15, when Sam was seeing alternate storylines through Chuck, i.e. Dean thinking they had no way to beat Chuck after Chuck had killed everyone they loved.

FWIW, WRT to the Boys popularity and how much attention it gets in fandom and IMO value by it's studio, and promotion, here is my anectdotal story from ComicCon in 2019. I didn't have Tix so I went with a friend just to walk around the event. Other than Marvel stuff, The Walking Dead, and some Arrowverse, The Boys had and Amazon had the largest event display that I saw. I didn't see one SPN banner the whole time and I even walked down to Hall H but it was after their panel. I saw some SPN fans because of clothes etc, but that was all. The Boys had a big promotional presence and like a half block or more solely for The Boys and that was on the final Sunday of the month. Fans were wrapped around trying to get in to whatver it was. I remember saying to my friend that I hope Jensen gets a role in the Boys if only for the buzz and support that show gets. So make of that what you will.

I always thought they were harkening back to when May and Jessica were killed. The blood looks like the same area which I never considered to be in the uterus just somewhere in the abdominal region.

CWVerse makes no sense because there are more than DC shows on the CW. They still have Supernatural for 7 more episodes and I think the 100 is still going , plus Roswell and some other shows. The branding implies even non DC shows are somehow tied to the DC universe. The only other thought I have is that maybe once SPN and The 100 finish, they give up on anything but DC shows. Kind of curious they have Superman as the first character in the promo rather than The Flash or Sara Lance or Supergirl. Those all came long before Superman. I understand he's the most well known DC character of the bunch, yet it seems like a slap in the face to the other shows.

Hi friends. I know times are really hard, so I'm just posting this here mostly to ask for good thoughts for my nephew and his family. They were hit by a suspected drunk driver nearly head on. This is a link to their GoFundMe. If you can help they would be amazing. Thank you for listening. https://gf.me/u/yjpbid
