  1. Maybe he meant for the Winchesters and Cas together? Or for Sam and Cas only?
  2. I don't understand this. Why does that mean Misha lying to him? I feel like I'm missing something big here. Not all actors discuss their character's stroylines with other actors that early on. And maybe he was asked to not discuss it with Jensen. I feel like something doesn't add up meaning why would they be worried about him not going for that particular scene which seemed not that different than other emotional scenes. Are they suggesting that there was more to it, like perhaps a kiss or something? It's all really weird. Did Misha say any of this in jest?
  3. Ugh. That sucks. I'm quite disappointed.
  4. What other things has he said? I believe you, just wondering what. Can you link me?
  5. I think he's in a tough spot, just like Jensen. If he's being asked about it and he's been told by the writers, that yes Cas is in love with Dean, how can he say that's not the intention? Similarly, if Jensen is being told that Dean is not in love with Cas, and he answers that honestly, then it's in conflict but that's again not on Jensen. The questions need to be addressed to the writers not the actors.
  6. Even if Jensen didn't like it or didn't know about until he got the script, I saw no revulsion in Jensen's performance. I saw Dean being completely thrown for a loop and blindsided on several levels between realizing Cas is gonna die for him, and processing a declaration of love and a lot of praise from Cas towards him, which rarely happens. he barely had anytime to deal with any of it. And at the end, he was crying. It was a lot for Dean to absorb in like 5 minutes.
  7. I don't know that he has been a vocal supporter or pushing it as a Canon ship. I do know that at past conventions he's implied that Cas is in love with Dean. I can't recollect him implying that Dean is in love with Cas. So it could be that Misha does interpret it as one sided for Cas. I don't think he's throwing Dean or Jensen under the bus, if it's intended to show that Cas as an angel, came to understand human love by loving Dean. I think those that seek to demonize Jensen over Dean not reciprocating already kind of have it in for Dean and Jensen. I don't put that all on Misha, if it really is true that Berens always intended to have Cas be in love with Dean. That's all on Berens IMO
  8. I fully believe that Berens did tell him. I don't see it that Misha is trolling or being media whore in this case, necessarily. Since I don't know the full context without seeing the panel, I can believe that he was being told to play something a certain way from Cas perspective. Also, given Jensen doesn't read ahead generally, I can see him playing it as shocked and confused as Dean was at the end. Jensen has talked about not wanting to read too far ahead to give the most authentic performance he can. It doesn't make me upset with Misha, and it doesn't mean Jensen refused to play anything other than what we saw.
  9. Thinking about previousc episode, OG Adam said Jack would be a black hole after going supernova. I think he did go partially supernova, and I think that is why everyone is disappearing. He is sucking everyone into him. If I thought Dabb was self deprecating, I would think he and Berens are low key implying Jack became the black hole of the show, but I don't think they meant it that way. I know I sure do...
  10. I got a heavy "homage" to Marvel's Infinity War. I think Dean is Tony Stark here in a way. I also thought Castiel's speech was an "homage" to Stuck in the Middle which Speight also directed As the previous low-key Destiel shipper here, I didn't necessarily read that scene as Canon Destiel. I saw it as much more Castiel, the angel , realizing he did love Dean in a specific way, that was different than his love for humanity, or Sam or Jack, maybe romantic, not necessarily sexual. I also think that he also realized fully that Dean did and does love him, as Dean showed throughout their complex relationship. The rest of the episode made no sense. My only theory is Jack is responsible for everyone disappearing in some way. Maybe he sent everyone to a void and none are dead. I continue to find Speight's directing mediocre. Overall, nonplussed about this episode.
  11. The used to be Destiel shipper in me would laugh if Dean told Cas he loves him,and then Cas drops dead.
  12. I do think Cas either dies or is sent to Heaven Jail. Given its Berens and Speight I'm sure Dean will be made to grovel in some way or be made to ha e regret that he did or didn't do something that ends with Cas' demise.
  13. I thought Unity was the most recent ep. That said I do agree with you about Speight the director.
  14. Even if that is the case, the show has made this about the effect Sam and Dean have on the natural order within the Supernatural world and that Death has always been irritated specifically with the Winchesters (mostly Dean) mucking that up. Death helped him, but the condition was breaking him free of being bound to Lucifer. He helped get Sam's soul back ,but with the condition that Dean be Death for a day, to understand why the natural order matters *and to help direct him to the issue with the souls. So to me, Billie seeking a do over vs Chuck destroying the Supernatural universe, isn't the worst plan IMO. I think there is some wiggle room for Billie to want a reset that only goes back to before Jack is created. I mean Badd loves to rehash and repurpose plot points, i could see it akin to Song Remains the Same wherein if Jack is never born. She doesn't have to go all the way back to creation if his existence is the real issue. Since she isn't OG Death, she might only have the power to reset things to back to when she became Death which is after Cas killed her and before Jack is born. On another note, why was Sam so willing to believe the Empty over Billie? The Empty has it's own agenda which is go back to sleep and keep it's realm asleep( which I really hope is just a dumb metaphor it being asleep keeps all the demons and angels asleep). At this point I would think Sam would trust Billie more than the Empty, because Billie did give him that low key clue to help Sam save himself from the Darkness infection thing in s11. The Empty only cares about keeping the demons and angels put away. That is why the Empty might want Billie to be stopped, because if all the angels and demons are back in their realms, then it is out of a job. Until something else the Winchesters and Cas do, that changes that.
  15. Not to mention, I think he (and Jared) did not want to put 100+ people out of work. I wouldn't be surprised if he negotiated one more season to give them the time to find other work.
  16. I'm an adult and I stream if I opt to not watch live. A lot of people are cutting the cable and TV cords.
  17. I'm holding out hope that Amara knew all along and allowed Chuck to absorb her to kill him in the end. I don't think she'll be angry with Dean here. She is stronger than Chuck. And i think she'll be forgive Dean, if she didn't know. Sadly, it's probably pointless hope.
  18. Weirdly, I only hated two things about this episode. Dean thanking Jack, when it's been Jack's decision, and Sam's never ending hypocrisy. Sam is just as manipulative as ever by using Dean's unhealthy attachment to saving him against him here. It kind of felt like John telling Dean how proud he was of him for always taking care of the family, never crying about it, all before dropping the biggest bomb of all with the "Save Sam or kill Sam" thing. Sam basically gave Dean that same type of speech with saying how Dean has always protected him and guilt tripping him and frankly that felt like a tactic more than him necessarily truly appreciating Dean's sacrifices. JMHO. IMO, Billie's plan wasn't all that terrible. Send everyone back to where they are supposed to be? I don't think Billie is really the big bad here anymore than Chuck at this point. If she sent AU Charlie and AU Bobby back, so what? They weren't the OG versions anyway. Send Cas and the angels back to Heaven and demons back to Hell? What's so terrible about that? Maybe Dean and Sam do really die with a reset or maybe they don't. I don't recollect that she said anything about doing away with monsters. So that could also mean taking the boys back to hunting only monsters. Perhaps I missed something big, but how is that any worse than God wanting the Winchesters to be in his hamster wheel? And destroying all worlds and this one because he wants them to kill each other? IMO, all the opposition to that was just a redux of Point of No Return, which I still dislike more than this episode. I hate how I know Dean's actions with Sam will be seen, the narrative of a supposedly mean and horrible Dean. Well, I am not buying it. I really don't have any issues with Dean telling Sam that Jack is not family. Dean has never really been on board the Jack train. He's never been unclear to Sam and Cas of his issues with Jack. What he has done, that will be ignored by the narrative is that Dean is TRYING to make peace with Jack because he recognizes that Sam and Cas see Jack as family and he's tried for their sake. Unfortunately, the narrative doesn't give much room for Dean's voice to be a reasonable voice to Jack murdering Mary and his reservations all along. At least Jeremy Adams allowed for Dean to say he is trying. I couldn't even get angry over this because it's just so stupid. And Jensen once more found the right way to play all of this garbage which maybe is why I didn't throw something at my TV. I'm just sad at the fall of this once great show.
  19. So, speaking of Donna, I wonder why Sam is hugging her in the promos for the season. Does Jodi die? Or one of the Wayward Sisters? I've been wondering if Dean is going to sacrifice himself. Like I almost feel some Point of No Return vibes from Dean's behavior. Why was he alone and drinking when Cas got back to the bunker? Someone else pointed out that "get your house in order" is often something said to those facing death. I hadn't considered that. Maybe Dean has struck a completely separate deal with Billie going all the way back to advanced thanatology. I just think Dean seems like he has more on his mind than Jack dying and the world ending. Heck, maybe he's struck a deal with Amara. I mean she should be able to read him still.0, so I think she knows something isn't right with Dean. He didn't exactly lie to her. He can't hurt her, even if Jack can. She seemed almost sad in their meeting, like she knows.
  20. I could see that! Jaime was great! For me, once Donna was introduced, I was on the Dean/Donna ship. Dean was really kind to her in that first episode. And later when she learned about monsters, I think respected her competence. The seemed to have genuine respect for each other. Plus they both love food! I remember in the episode wherein Donna killed the vamps, that Dean was kind of into her because of her bravery. I always thought Jensen and Brianna had great chemistry. Dina/Deonna 4evr!
  21. This is why Jack is such a terrible character, IMO. He can do cute things like his "Hello!" which I think that's mostly due to Alex's acting and charm. Which is why IMO he's become this weird darling to some. And now the problem is Jack's existence is giving the writers the excuse to turn Dean into a villain because it's always been that Dean is largely the only character who questioned Jack's morality, existence and actions. Jack is still the son of Satan, so there is still a chance he has some innate evil. And unfortunately, if the show does ever take Jack to the dark side, it is setup to blame it on Dean, who's been made to be seen as the villainous uncaring , unforgiving John to Jack's triple woobified Sam. Dean is not going to come out as a hero even though he started as one. Cas wasbrainwashed by Jack in s12. Sam is honestly not doin much of anything except worrying about Jack. The three main characters have been ruined by Jack's existence and I think it is intentionally done by Drabb. He wants his own original character (s) to be more important to his vision of "Supernatural". I said all the way backwhen the Wayward Sisters thing was around, that if Drabb couldn't get his spinoff he would reconnoiter the show to his vision. And he clearly sees Dean as a jerk, given how he wrote him is his comic. He can't regress Sam all the way back to the poor out upon child Sam, and instead created Jack. Badd is the worst.
  22. Billie is a supernatural entity. She is Death now. She has access to the Empty which seems to be across all Universes. There is no reason why she wouldn't have knowledge of the destruction of other universes, IMO.
  23. Billie knew back in s13 about other universes because she knew that Jack ripped a hole to the AU so why wouldn't she know that Chuck was destroying those worlds?
  24. Honestly, Sam needs to STFU. His rant at Dean was stupid. And frankly his anger made no sense at all. It came out of the blue. Did Sam bother to ask Dean how long he had known about Jack's situation before flipping out? Has Sam forgotten about all the situations he failed to tell Dean particular information, as recently as s12...and then got mad at Dean when Dean was angry with him after the fact, after the 411 or lack thereof resulted in something bad happening? This could have been handled by Sam and Dean in a better way that didn't leave Dean as the bad guy. It could have been phrased that Sam was pissed because he was scared that Jack would die without him saying goodbye or something else. It could have been written that Sam was really just scared about losing Jack and let Dean know that. It sure as heck didn't come across as anything but Sam being pissed that he wasn't in the know...because Dean didn't think Sam could handle it. and thats all And I don't think Jared's acting here helped. I thought he way over played it that it became laughable. Or maybe he played it as written and directed. Either I felt sorry for both Jared and Jensen on that scene. What I really want to know, is what does Billie really mean when she is telling Dean to get his house in order? It almost feels like a trap episode for Dean, meaning he might take it as he has to get everyone in in the plan for Jack to die but still kill God. And yet I feel like there is really some other dumb lesson Dean has to learn (the metaphorical version of get his house in order). My hope is that neither of those things happen and Dean does his own thing that no one knows about.. one that saves them all, and doesn't go with either Jack's or Billies or whatever Cas is up to. Because that would be in character for Dean. Sadly, though, if he does come up with his own plan, and it does work, he'll get berated for it. Overall, I didn't like this episode much, was distracted by how much the actor playing Dean neither looked like nor embodied Dean like Dylan Everett did despite not looking much like Dean. The kid was a decent actor but i sure didn't think I was watching a young Dean Winchester. And that may be a result of the writing and directing more than the youth actor himself. Young Sam, was just... There to stare at college guide and be picked on by mean old Dean and be Dean's guilt trip. I've said it before, my worry is that the show is trying to turn Dean into John and the John that is a complete asshole not the young John who was idealistic. Given the lax treatment John got in Lebanon, I fear Drabb wants to make Dean into a worse father than John, by comparison. Yeah this episode was just , yuck.
