When this ep aired, for some reason my DVR only started recording from the scene with the rocks (I think they changed the schedule but it hadn't updated on my set top box) and I didn't realise that it had missed so much until it went to a commercial break about 5 minutes later (which is waaaay sooner than they'd normally put one). When I finally did get to see the first act it didn't really have as much of an impact because I knew it had to be a fake out. But yes, starting from the holding rocks in the rain scene wasn't all that implausible.

I thought the wife said something about not being too fertile or something like that, that gave me the impression that if she’d started popping out too many kids with her husband then she’d end up being forced to be a Handmaids. I was was convinced that June would change her mind and stay in Gilead to try and rescu Hannah. Every time she thought of her I was shouting at the screen to just keep going dammit because she’d have a better chance of saving her as a refugee in Canada than a Handmaid in Gilead!

Barbara’s father is abroad and I think her mother is dead. No mention of any siblings that I remember.

So if Fitz had been able to give Daisy a proper anaesthetic or painkillers then that would have been ok?

Assuming of course that Daisy gives Coulson a choice in the matter. She and May have consistently ignored Coulson when he’s told them not to try and save him. If they have something that they believe will prolong his life do you think that they’ll hesitate to use it? I for one will be most amused if after all the railing against Fitz for performing a medical procedure without consent, that Daisy then turns around and does the same thing to Coulson.

Cabot Cove would be lower because remember Jessica spent about half the episodes traveling which obviously reduced the number of deaths there.

If she’d had time to think about it, she could have lied that they’d used a donated egg because hers weren’t viable.

We know Deke has to be related to both Fitz and Simmons because Hale was given a report which said his DNA was matched to them. Not sure how he could be anything other than a direct descendant. Although I suppose if Fitz and Simmons had children separately they could be Dekes parents.

Ok, that makes sense. Of course now I’m thinking that Fitz-Simmons don’t necessarily have to survive to have a kid...a song as their DNA does. (Test tube babies clones surrogates etc!)

Deke turned in a potential rebel/deemed criminal to the authorities of an invading force and received a financial reward for it. He should be condemned as a collaborator rather than a slaver (as there’s no evidence that he was in the business of selling people on a regular basis).

Given the amount of pain Yo-Yo was in at that point, I doubt if she was thinking that clearly. When Yo-Yo was talking to her future self, didn’t we find out that future Yo-Yo had been revived by Kassius to act as his seer? If so, then how can she possibly think she’s invulnerable when she knows for a fact that she dies at some point?

If the girl is pregnant then some parents would apparently rather they marry their rapist than ‘bring shame on the family’ by having a child outside of marriage. ?

I agree that girls should be learning about this at an earlier age but my guess is that if (back then) they’d have had a harder time getting parents to give permission for younger girls.

We’re still in 1963. The Troubles didn’t really kick off until closer to the end of the decade - although the seeds were sown much earlier.

Yes, I was thinking that Hale was going to kill Yo-yo. And now that her daughter is gone she’s going to be even more dangerous. I’m okay with Yo-yo killing Ruby, if for no other reason than it pissed off Daisy.

Question. When Deke sold Daisy, wasn’t he still under the impression that she was the person responsible for destroying the world and killing millions if not billions of people? And now she was there and going to cause trouble in the present day. As for sacrifice, Deke did not have the advantage of watching the next episode and knowing that he was going to survive. When he stayed with Enoch he thought he was going to die. The fact that he didn’t die doesn’t negate the fact that he did put his life on the line. How many other times have members of the team put their lives at risk for others? Does it not count because they didn’t get killed or injured?

It was mentioned a few times during S4 that Frank had a gambling habit. Presumably at some point between the seasons he got in over his head. Luckily they had the ideal replacement for him :-)

Earlier this year, Craig was accused of harassment on a production of The Rocky Horror Show back in 2014. Pre production on the show was halted. He’s now suing the media who broadcast the initial reports. At the moment the plan is to shoot just the one telemovie now (without him but reportedly with his blessing) and presumably wait and see the outcome of the litigation before continuing.

I seem to remember Elementary in the first or second season having a criminal use drugs to fake a coma so as to give themselves and alibi.

Yes, I think that was the episode when she ended up going to an AA meeting for the first time. IIRC, Sister Mary Cynthia overheard her and was able to reassure the person on the other end of the line that Trixie was in a safe place.

Maybe I’m just easily pleased but I’m enjoying the show. I think Dylan and Andy make a sweet couple (and I shall throw virtual rocks at the writers if they dare mess with them)

Plus of course, once they’d married her off to Tom, the only way for him to stay when she left was to kill her off.

Same here. I was dreading the resolution. So happy to find out it was Kevin! Btw, does anybody know when Gina will be back? I want to enjoy the Gina-free episodes as long as they last.
