In a way I feel bad for Steve after he made that comment to Ryan about her running up his credit card bills. I think he wanted to “do the right thing,” and I also feel like he thinks it’s what his parents would want. I have nothing to base that on other than he always seemed to want to please them and stay in favor in their eyes. I’m not even wording this to correctly convey my thoughts but I think y’all get the gist. He was very close with his parents and sister, raised in a traditional and loving family. BUT....this is what happens when you don’t wrap it up! He just seems kind of beat down and defeated, like in his heart of hearts he knows this ain’t it.

Even though it took a very weird and drah-mah-tic turn in the last couple of episodes, I did enjoy winding down my Sunday nights with this. No it’s not. The stimulus was based off each tax return filed, not by address of the cumulative occupants. You don’t even have to have an address to get the stimulus (homeless were / are entitled). Darlene would have received for herself and her 2 kids (unless Harris filed her own separate tax return). Dan would receive his. DJ would receive for him and Mary. Louise would get her own. The Connors most definitely all got stimulus money.

It applies to basically everything if the roles were reversed. Could you imagine of Jo had multiple baby mamas? Could you imagine if Jo had no contact orders with all his former partners? Could you imagine if Jo and his girlfriend fought and got abusive with each other in the presence of the boys? Could you imagine if Jo moved houses every other year and uprooted the kids constantly? If she was my ICU nurse I would sure hope she would flush the toilet for me. Because she doesn’t seem to care if she does it for her own self. GROSS. I would also disagree with “a year of 12 hour ICU shifts.” COVID lockdown started in March 2020. She was set to go in summer house by July (?). Even if August, at most she was hitting it har core for less than 6 months. And as far as I can tell she has not gone back full time. So don’t pull that she is such a noble care giver front liner. She was at the pool and modeling for Bravo for the better part of the last year. I don’t think nursing and saving the world from COVID is her top priority.

I have no doubt my sons birth mother posts things like Cate does. I’d have a lot more empathy for her (my sons birth mom) if she would stop saying to me thank you for taking care of him. I know she’s not smart enough to know better (sadly we are the same age / in our 40’s she wasn’t even a teen mom). But I’ve cAme to realize she so stunted just like these kids on TM.
