  1. Maybe being in a family where she didn’t feel loved by her spouse made her a beyotch.
  2. Alcohol is a depressant, and could’ve played a role in what happened that night. Being in a depressed state and then adding alcohol…then having very easy access to a firearm…What a combination. My heart goes out to him.
  3. The torment and sadness that young man must have been feeling for him to resort to suicide. It's truly heartbreaking.
  4. Nicole has a nice little figure, but pregnancy really is becoming on her. Her face is a little more filled out. She's adorable. I'm sorry, but if I were Michael Jordan--or Marcus Jordan's mother, I would be so pissed off if my son wound up with someone like Larsa. Just the sex comments alone would repulse me. The fact that she claims to have had sex with her ex 4 times a night, just ugh. I have a 31 year old son, and I'd be disgusted with some older lady he brought home who claimed to have sex FIVE times a night with my son. She's a disgusting narcissist.
  5. The style of the dress and the look she's "trying" to convey don't match up.
  6. I don’t understand how these folks think skin tight clothing is modest. I don’t need to see the shape of someone’s belly button. I don’t need to know if one is wearing a thong, granny panties, or something in between. There is a time and place to wear such garb.
  7. That seems to be Lisa’s type. Odd and unattractive, with a wallet.
  8. I was wondering about the pavilion as well. I thought they had trouble with coyotes and bears? How does that work with the open pavilion and food (in fridge) and furniture? I would imagine my furnishings and upholstery being affected by the animals and even the elements. First world problems, I guess...
  9. After my second child my hair went from VERY wavy to stick straight. I loved it! It took about 3 or 4 years before the wave started coming back. MLM, LOL.
  10. Not only does Dr Eugene plan what I think are lovely dates, but he’s also a champion of women and understands the disparities between men and women in the work force, etc. She does not deserve him.
  11. Yes! That sounds about right! And like Adriana said, Nicole is the real Cuban Barbie. Doctor Barbie, living in mansions, whose “Ken” is a lawyer/pilot. I guess Alexia would be “Thrice married ex of drug dealer, mother to abusive son, bankruptcy Barbie.”
  12. Oh, yeah! My first response was “He looks like a Brown!”
  13. Christine glowed—despite the dress, but both she and David were happy! I did blush every time she kissed David. Full tongue and all! It was giving me “teens making out in the backseat of a car” vibes, but good for her! Yes, she was a little inebriated! They looked like they all had a blast! I liked how she mentioned her 13 kids. Her 6, Janelle’s 6, and Leon. So, NONE of Robyn’s. Mykelti—huuuge attention seeker.
  14. I totally agree. I wrote somewhere on another thread perhaps that the extremes of Taylor’s wholesome family, and Taylor’s very questionable behavior and choices, leaves me to believe that something else is going on in their upbringing. Just Shep’s treatment of her alone, and her acceptance of that, leads me to believe somewhere down the line she learned this was acceptable or that it feels normal. Add to this her ease of sending nudes “come one, come all.” Doesn’t seem to value herself. Brother overdosed? Hmm…
  15. I can’t imagine have umpteen unruly people in my home, especially if people aren’t respectful of my home and its contents. I would hate kids walking around my house with snacks and juice boxes, etc. I don’t blame them for not always inviting folks with small, unruly children.
  16. I can see Evan getting on some of the guys' nerves. Perhaps he gets on everyone's nerves. He is a guy who lets his sister pay for his and Carlin's Starbucks. He quit a good job to stay home do nothing. We know Balka is a hard worker. While the Balka way of sharing the household chores may not be what I like or do, the culture that Josie comes from tells her the man runs the household. I don't think she's turned off by it. I am by no means a Kelton fan, but in many ways, if made to choose, I'd gladly choose Kelton. He may be the lesser of the two evils, and sheltered Josie never knew any better.
  17. Austen is so full of himself! He talks like he’s THE hottest man around. I felt for JT. He genuinely likes Taylor, but he’s a good guy (imho), and Taylor only dates assholes, which makes sense, as she seems to value herself so little. There’s a story there. Her family seemed like nice people, so why is Taylor’s self-esteem so low? She really dug herself a hole where Shep’s concerned. Now that Taylor has exposed her herself—literally and figuratively, they can only ever be friends. He’s not bringing her into his family.
  18. To be fair, I am a watcher of the show since the beginning, and I do remember Ana. I cannot, though, recall her friends or “enemies” on the show. It does say a lot that Marysol and Alexia have issues with so many people. Todd has a smarmy personality.
  19. Sad thing is that Gil and Kelly likely didn’t go without as kids, and didn’t have to size up for shoes.
  20. As a kindergarten teacher I see a lot of parents buying kids shoes big enough for them to grow into, but these kids are running around all day so the shoes are worn out before they even fit. Might as well get them shoes that fit!
  21. I’m torn because I feel like this extravagant lifestyle is what Lenny set her and the children up for. She may not—at this point, know how to economize, as it was so long ago she lived in the “real” world. So, basically, I have no sympathy for Lenny. He’s an ass, and he deserves to have to dole out tons of money every month. As for Lisa’s friends, she’s going through a lot of turmoil, and if I were her friend I’d let her vent as much as she wanted about Lenny and tell her to save the Lenny talk for me and not Jody. I would tell her Jody may tire of it, but as a friend, I’m there for her.
  22. Oh my! Jill sure has zero sense of style. The furnishings, textiles and style…yuk. But they’re seemingly happy, so…
  23. I think Olivia feels more hurt and betrayed by Taylor because that was her friend. In the beginning she even said she didn’t care so much about Austen, but it was her friendship with Taylor she wanted to salvage. Then when she thinks she’s moved on and healing, there comes another lie or piece of the story that Taylor lied about and so it feels like more betrayal. Then to overhear Taylor on the phone acting unremorseful had to have pissed her off. THEN adding her brother’s name into it was just another knife twist. I think I get it. She moves on easier with Austen because she doesn’t care as much.
  24. I’m wondering if these types of Christmas gifts are what Gil and Kelly gave. That’s so messed up about celebrating Christmas early because of content. I mean, is this a faux Christmas with REAL gifts coming later? Maybe they should’ve waited until after Christmas for the new car to have a few extra bucks for gifts.
