  1. Can you imagine the numbers of women out there Jay has merely slept with? Yea, I'm sure there's got to be some kind of STD floating around out there! I guess that's not enough to keep the women away. Very sad situation.
  2. I don't understand why Kailyn and Javi planned their trip when they knew Isaac was going to be with his dad. If it's for the scentsy convention, then it's for the scentsy convention. She never has to bring up the trip with Isaac, and if she wants him to be there so badly, she can still take him at another time. I'm sure if Jo gave him up for the week, that would somehow get spun into Jo not wanting to have Isaac, or some other bullshit Javi and Kailyn could say to make themselves seem the better parents.
  3. I agree, ghoulina. I think the dumbest thing Leah has done thus far is to let that man out of her life. She had a rarity on this show--a young man who actually tried to do right by his children. He loved Leah, and I actually believe that Leah still loves him. If it weren't for Miranda and Jeremy, I think they could have a shot at a good life together, especially with some counseling. (Not necessarily marriage counseling--I think Leah has issues she needs to work out.) By the way, what was the deal with Leah saying "Corey Tyler!" That really sealed for me the fact that Leah has feelings for him. I think Jeremy knows this as well. I'm sure Miranda thought was an intimate response to Corey. It was then that she made her comment about the four of them not having to be best friends, yada yada yada.
  4. I think mtv should offer Barbara help in the form of parenting classes as we'll as some kind of babysitting help, not to mention therapy for Jace. They're capitalizing off of this poor kid's life. I think since we only see Barbara's life with Janelle, it's easy to forget she's got 2 other kids who are a mess, and she tries to do what she can for them as well. That woman has been at the end of her rope for years. If I could adopt Jace I would. Between my husband, me, and my 22 and 21 year old kids, Jace would get so much attention he wouldn't know how to act!
  5. Terry and Heather = true love. These two are struggling in some rental without a motor court OR heated towel drawers, yet somehow they're managing make their family work. That's the power of love, my friends.
  6. Who knows. Maybe this coincided with the time the doc provided her with those pills. By the way, during her initial conversation with Jeremy (on the bed), did anyone else think Leah looked like she was on something? Adalynn looks like Leah's sister.
  7. That letter from "Hedy" to Terry...ugh. What kind of letter was that?? It was an homage to the greatness of the DuBrows (or is it Dubrow?--I cannot be bothered to research it.) "Beyond all of the bells and whistles, the movie theatre, heated towel drawers and a closet for the TV, this house represent the best of us." Really? These two idiots deserve each other. They just serve to stroke the egos of the other, and they do a great job of it. I mean, Heather thinks she's just the next Meryl Streep--with her "career," and Terry thinks he's more intelligent than the rest of the world. Now we know why the Judges and the Dubrows get along so well. The Judges will NEVER be a threat to the Dubrows. They will always be richer and smarter than those two twits. Being friends with the Judges is almost like stroking the Dubrow ego, and confirming for them what they "know."
  8. I don't feel sorry for Ben in the least. If he's a grown ass man enough for him to be considering marriage, then he should be man enough to say to Jim Bob, "That's definitely something for me to consider," (which I think he did), and then if he doesn't like the idea, for him to say, "I thank you, Mr. Duggar, but I think I've decided to XYZ..." Something tells me that this was likely discussed off camera at some point, and for the sake of the show, Ben feigned surprise.
  9. I know it has been said before, but damn! Jessa's skin is so distracting, I wind up having to rewind to hear what she's actually saying in her talking heads. It seems that her skin has gotten progressively worse in the last couple of years--which happens to coincide with her increased makeup application. Hopefully among all of her gift card requests she's got some for some facials, or perhaps new makeup and makeup brushes...face soaps, etc. I have a feeling that after November 1, when Ben's really gotten Jessa, she'll start to see the real Ben Sewald. I predict it will be little by little, and especially after the first couple of kids, the honeymoon will be over and Jessa unhappy with her choice in husband. I give her 3 years to realize this. It's all really sad. A young woman should be able to date as she pleases, thus avoiding winding up with a dud of a husband. At least she would have experiences and learn what it is she likes and dislikes in a partner. Unfortunately, having your heartbroken is a part of life. We can't avoid that. I have given away many "pieces of my heart," and I learned something from each and every relationship. I wouldn't go back and change that, because along with the breakups, there were also the first glances, the first time he asked me out, the first date, the first kiss...all those firsts. Those Duggar girls are missing out on LIFE!
  10. Of course poor Jenny was looking awkward. Her "mother" was off on a date somewhere while she was with a lady she hardly knows!
  11. Oh, I so agree, however, I am less offended by this than Amber "crying" and calling Teresa. It was tacky, but Rino checked her. Hopefully, she learned a lesson. I do have to say, Teresa is put together quite well when she's attending court. As I read the article, I'm always noticing Teresa's courthouse ensemble, as well.
  12. Okay...it's still fairly early in the season, but I kinda like Rino. The whole giving Victoria Gotti a Rolex thing was weird, yes, but there is something I like about his personality. His sleeping with his mother-in-law is sick, but...who knows how these things happen? In any case, Theresa seems to have gotten past it. I think the person that plays the slightly more unforgivable role in that is Santa. I mean, who does that shit to her own daughter? I'm imagining Rino and Santa getting it on to Dean Martin's "That's Amore!"
  13. I think Tamra's the one who did research both after and prior to appearing on the show. Coincidence that she called Alexis Jesus Jugs after someone on another forum christened Alexis with that name? She tends to accuse others of doing what she herself does.
  14. I am giving Shannon the benefit of the doubt on the cutting back on nagging and claims of improved marriage. Maybe seeing herself on TV she realized how annoying and what a drag she's been. I'm a reformed nagger myself. Yes, I do have my moments, but once I've learned to let go of some control, and have become aware of it, I've improved. like Shannon, I think its improved relationships with family members. I think she looks less stressed, as does David...Perhaps the threat of losing David was enough to help her make a change.
  15. I always had a theory that Lawson and Jessa were interested in each other, and that Jim Bob denied a courtship. Jessa was always really excited when learning they would be convening with the Bateses I've read rumors on another site that Lawson was leaning towards fundie-lite, so perhaps Jim Bob denied a courtship, as opposed to a courtship with Ben, who drinks the Duggar kool-aid.
  16. I don't mind Shannon and David wanting to get a hotel room. Clearly, Shannon and David are used to different accommodations, and they did feel bad about it and tried to come up with a gracious way of telling Vickie so. Ultimately, I think they decided that they didn't want to have to kick Michael out of his room. It wasn't just Shannon who seemed to balk at the room. I think David did as well. Everyone has their own standards. What may be okay for me may be not up to snuff for you, and vice versa. When we visit my in-laws we stay at a hotel. We always say, "We don't wanna be a bother, plus staying at a hotel makes us feel like we're on a mini vacation." I think it was important that Shannon and David really tried not offend Vickie, and if I were Vickie, I would have invited them and said, "I'd love for you to stay with us, but if you'd feel more comfortable getting a hotel room, I understand." I actually think Heather and Terry would have been more snobby had they been invited to Casa Gunvalson.
  17. Just re-watching the show. I'm finding that I am really irritated by Tamra constantly nodding her head when Heather speaks in defense of her or Tamra. She does it with that "sardonic grin." (Thank you, Ms. Terry.) She has zero redeeming qualities. No wonder Ryan wanted to get out of town pronto.
  18. I think "real life" has kicked in for Lizzie, and she's finding that marriage isn't all fairy tales and romance. It's hard work, and we often find ourselves tired at the end of the day, and by the time Christian comes home from a hard day's work, he's probably too tired to do any wining and dining--or throwing people on top of counters. Then he's got to help out with the kids... It's hard. For Lizzie, having her child throw tantrums and hit with stuffed elephants, etc., probably leaves her feeling as though the bloom is off the rose, and family life is not like dating life. Hence the anger at Christian for not putting a lot of energy into her party. It's real life, and it looks like marriage and family could have been more challenging than she'd assumed going into it. Lizzie had seemed to lead a charmed life...then marriage and kids came, and the real work began. I suppose this realization is a bit harder for Lizzie than it is for those of us non- horse farm raised, beauty queen, daughters of Ivy league doctors.
  19. Heather was STILL a pretentious and snotty bitch... Her attitude about the tequila shots, and how she acted as though she is so above drinking shots! Ugh! She needed her champagne. Bitch. I cannot stand that woman!
  20. I have to say, my number one moment of the night, and possibly even the entire reunion, was when Vicki called Tamra out on her bitterness, and asked Tamra if she was so happy in her marriage with Eddie, and if she's in such a happy space in her life, why is she so bitter. I think that was so "to the point." If Tamra is so in love with Eddie, and happily married to him, and has such a great life with him, then why is she she such a hateful and vile person? Happy and fulfilled people don't spew so much venom. I felt for Lizzie. Sure, I thought her child was a little bratty for hitting his mom with his stuffed animal, but the kid is three. During that particular episode, I thought Lizzie looked a little embarrassed. Lizzie should have told Tamra, "You're such a great mother, what kinds of parenting tips can you give me, or why don't you ask your mother and Simon, since they're the ones who've raised your kids."
  21. Hmm...Well, judging from the linen that Terry is laying on, this looks like it could be one of those post-coital selfies that all the celebs are posting nowadays. Or Heather could have taken it just as she was about to mount him. Sexy! With regards to the bangs issue, I can't see any guy kicking someone out of bed due to her bangs.
  22. I know! Seriously, Terry? What a (sorry) pussy. A real man would have either shrugged and thought, "what an idiot," OR if he was really offended, called him up and confronted him about it, not wait months and have sleepless nights over it. Also, you mean to tell me that Terry's mother, mother of Quiet Riot's Kevin DuBrow (God rest his soul), could be offended at THAT comment? I'm sure she's heard worse things if her son was part of an 80's metal band. Terry's just finding reasons to justify his irrational dislike of the better looking and equally (or more) wealthy David.
  23. K..I would imagine that over the years, as good looking as David is, he's become very comfortable with his looks (although he's not conceited in the least), and probably gets his fair share of female attention. I think that he probably enjoys some kind of playful banter with Vicki, but I think he feels comfortable in this kind of play with Vicki because he's secure in the knowledge that he and Vicki are friends, and I don't think Vicki would "go there." I would imagine if David's flirtations came out of the face of someone who looked like Jim Bellino, he would be considered more than creepy. Since David's a handsome guy, this is a going to be turned into a "thing." I'm imagining that something harmless--or not, happened between David and some other woman. Maybe a woman took David's flirtation seriously...who knows, but for whatever reason, this really touched a nerve for Shannon. I hope Shannon is hyperaware of what Tamra will do with that. I wouldn't put it passed her to do a "naked wasted 2.0" with David rather than Gretchen, and have an inebriated David in a compromising situation. She's just that evil.
  24. Not having Eddie by Tamra's side made her look extra pathetic when she was talking about David's flirtation. She is such an evil bitch she was trying to make Shannon feel insecure in her marriage that she and David are actually working on. If both Shannon and Tamwreck are back next season, I'm thinking that's where Tamra's going to aim--David and his fidelity. Tread lightly, Shannon. Tamra's a sick puppy, so she'll not hesitate to go for your family.
  25. Everything on Tamra looks old except for her forehead.
