S09.E06: Jill Says Yes To The Dress
zenme replied to frenchtoast's topic in 19 Kids And Counting [V]
My prediction is in 2030 Josie will still be blowing kisses, and walking on countertops with a pigtail headband. Hopefully, she won't be having blowouts anymore. We still won't be able to understand a word she says. Michelle will still be trying for baby #20.- 293 replies

I know! That kinda threw me off too! But, she does have "flavor of the week best friends." Could it be Javi?

Ha! I actually think it would be funny to wear extremely defrauding clothing with PRO-Duggar types of posters and signs! Maybe some booty shorts with a cut-off wife beater t-shirt, complete with underboob, and some high heels. A guy could wear some small Magic Mike style attire--shirt wide open and ab exposing. If David Waller is there he'd probably love that.

My guess is she's probably happy that Derick is happy, and that he's found love, but I would bet that she probably wishes that Derick would have wound up with a girl more like Derick. Someone who is college-educated, has a commitment to her faith, and that leads a more secular-type lifestyle. I wonder if she's wondering how her grandchildren will be raised. Will they get a college education? Will they be blanket-trained and follow Gothard teachings? How influential will JimBob be in Jill's and Derick's lives? I bet these are some of her concerns--all of which could have been avoided had Derick found someone with a background similar to his.

Fix My Father with 34 Children (Part 3)

I guess it would take a Town Hall meeting to get Jay and all his Baby Mommas and kids together! -
Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
zenme replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I really want to know how all these working class people can afford such grand lifestyles. I mean, we obviously know how the Juicys do it, but the Sr. Gorgas also seem to live large. The Juicy Srs. have not only that house, but they have that home in the mountains, and the Gorga Srs. have a home in the Dominican Republic. Mrs. Gorga was driving a newer model Mercedes a couple of years back. It looks like Kathy's mom seems to live a rather modest lifestyle, and even Kathy's current home isn't over they top. I'm sure that Bravo money has helped to purchase this newer home... I'm just wondering what these people are doing to maintain this lifestyle. -
Gee! I have a hard time keeping up with who is related to who! I am so envious of Nettie's great figure! Nine kids! Wow. Mellie needs to be on some kind of medication. She is just too much. She needs therapy and medication. Girl has issues. I kinda feel sorry for her kids. Poor Nettie. She's just trying to keep everyone together.

Does anyone else think this show is going to turn into some kind of spin-off show, with Nuala trying to make it in the big city? I'd watch, although I'd much rather see everyday life for them in their hometowns. We lived in Alaska in the 90's. The cost of living was expensive then, so I can't imagine how much it has gone up since then.

Considering Kailyn had no father in her life, you would think she would be ecstatic at the fact that Isaac has a father who really loves him and wants to spend time with him. Yeah, 6 weeks is a long time, but it's not like his father is Hitler. I have no doubt that if Kailyn called Jo up and asked if she and Javi could pick Isaac up for a couple of hours for lunch or dinner or something, Jo would have probably be on board. Heck, Jo and Vee might even welcome a couple of hours alone themselves. Jo seems perfectly reasonable, and it sounded like if that beach trip wasn't on Father's Day he would've let Isaac go.

Aww...I suppose that because Derek was in Nepal, and a prayer partner to Jim Bob, Jill seemed just as accessible as any other American girl.

S06.E10: The Day Of Jacqueline
zenme replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I'm surprised Bobby and Jim were friends for so many years. They don't seem compatible. Jim seems like he's playing "water boy" to Bobby's "quarterback." They look like they two different types, sitting at different tables in the cafeteria. You would have thought that Bobby would have noticed Jim's ways much sooner, like years ago! -

It looks like Gia has not been taught that she's lucky to have the luxuries she has. Of course, the Juicys have provided those luxuries with ill-gotten gains...I think that whole "used house/skeevy house" attitude that Teresa has is just ugly. That made me not like Teresa, and that was way back in Season 1. It just showed me what kind of person she was, and where her values were. Now look at her. SMH -
For Javi's rank, I would think $200,000 seems like a lot. I don't know what the cost of living is like in Delaware, but we military folk get a housing allowance. This amount varies according to the cost of living for the city you're stationed in. For example, when we lived in Alaska and Germany, the housing allowance was significantly more than when we lived in Kentucky. I really do think VA has factored in his Teen Mom money, of course, they could have put a down payment on that house too, which obviously would lower that house payment into something that fits in with his housing allowance.

Blech...I don't know why but whenever they show Anna cooking, it just completely grosses me out. She always seems like she's fumbling through it, and doesn't know quite what she's doing. I know it's not a cooking show, but Martha Stewart, she ain't.

I'm sure they took into account his Teen Mom 2 income.

Oh, I forgot about the pranks at Chad and Erin's wedding. Their pranks go beyond harmless fun. It's almost as though it's anger. It's not funny at all. It seems almost jealous. I've never heard of such pranking. People pay a lot of money for their special day. I hope this is why the seemingly cooled off Duggar/Bates relationship. I'd like to know what Gil and Kelley say about them behind closed doors.

I think Vee and Javi would actually make a good couple! Can you imagine if Javi and Kail broke up and Vee wound up with Javi? Omygoodness! Kailyn would honestly go postal. Me too. He looks really easy to please too. I wonder what happened between him and Corey's mom...She looks like she would have cheated on him.

Yes. Pictures in front of a fence are waaay better than an video of me on a toilet giving birth.

pennybear, this is interesting. I think this topic deserves its own thread!

I will give Jo this: his vehicles are never the latest model--from what I recall. They're just nice cars with a few miles and years on 'em. I think that's a decent financial move. Personally, I would advise a young person just starting out to get something like a newer Honda or something like that, but hey... As for the apartment, I think that if he's not ready to buy, if he's paying low enough rent in a decent area, where he can save some money, I think it's a good thing. Jo lived at home for a long time, and I think that was smart. He does still have to pay his child support. There was a time where Kailyn went to him and asked him to borrow about $600. He didn't seem like he was too hard-pressed to come up with it. I know lots of kids his age who would blow through that kind of money easily. If I were to guess, I would think Jo seems to know how to budget well enough to have the little luxuries he'd like to have.

I doubt Mercedes knows who Javi is, and as for the rest of them I seriously doubt any large car company cares to have these fools representing their product.

I bet about $49,950 comes from the show.
