  1. Just go watch the Zefferelli movie from the 60s. Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting can charm anyone.
  2. Well, Isaac was the son of Abraham. His father almost killed him but an angel intervened. Rebecca was his wife, discovered at a well where she offered water to Abraham's servant who was on a hunt for Isaac's bride. (Gen. 24) Isaac and Rebecca were parents of twins Jacob and Esau, and Jacob fathered the 12 sons who became the beginnings of the 12 tribes of Israel. (They also had a sister, Dinah, but she doesn't get much ink in the story.)
  3. The house damaged by the plane was the doctor's, not the butcher's. The doctor led everyone back to his place and instructed them to put the butcher's wife "into the surgery." Butcher-Dad was sent to the front parlor.
  4. This is a great site to check on scammers: http://www.yourittoday.com/scammers.php Anybody who says, "Happy to read from you," gets deleted immediately. Also any engineers working outside the country. "Legally separated" is not worth the effort.
  5. And here I was betting that April's middle name was "Fool." Silly me.
  6. No Barba? I just saw a couple episodes of L&O where Esparza played the perp. How did he manage to rehabilitate himself?
  7. Do we know if there'll be a second season? THE END seemed so very final. And I'll answer my own question with this: http://heavy.com/entertainment/2017/02/the-young-pope-season-two-jude-law-hbo-air-date-when-return-spoilers-2018/
  8. I think Kurtwell had molested the guy in the liquor store for a long time. And now, knowing an investigation is underway, right in front of the camera? Did he want to be caught?
  9. I flipped the channel after this episode and ran into the tail end of "Little Women" just in time to see Rufus Sewell as Mr. Baer. He hasn't aged a day.
  10. Janiece's book was basically self-published. Full Circle Publishing is a one-stop shop for people who want to get their work out there. Sales are via Amazon, where FCP is a third party vendor. There are no books for sale and no comments from anyone who has used their services on their site. http://fullcirclepublishing.ca/costs#basefees Here's a link to an active sales page. http://outskirtspress.com/bookstore/details/9780578185378 you'll save money over the Amazon listing.
  11. And tell me why, please, the beach ladies take their sun screen to the pharmacist to pay? Nhave they no checkout clerks near the front of the store?
  12. Federico Fellini. Italian filmmaker, 1960s. Lots of influence here. Italians are far more pragmatic about the clergy than Americans are. Some of Lenny's capriciousness has Italians shrugging where Americans would raise a protest, sign a petition, or file a lawsuit.
  13. And of course the guy in the kitchen speaks fluent German...
  14. OtterMommy, if you're on Facebook, look for a group called 10 Minute Novelists. Great support and information there. Katharine Grubb wrote the book.
  15. Jack may be a great dad, but just once could he wash his hair? Greasy and stringy drives me crazy.
  16. Cascade dishwasher soap. The lady pulls dirty dishes out of the machine because they're too dirty to wash. First thing out is a 9" x 13" pan that had "Alfredo" in it. But the pan has tomato sauce remnants and Alfredo is a white cream sauce.
  17. Thank you! I was going to watch the credits to see who the familiar face was, then forgot. Nice to see Milana out of the AT&T store.
  18. No one's mentioned Vance? The man has been through the fires of hell and he still has to sit in his office alone.
  19. You can't really have a reunion show if the people involved have never met.
  20. "Speedy trial" gets a whole new meaning with this show.
  21. I hope someone sends the church ladies a link to the LuLaRoe scam site.
