So widowed single-dad Michael A. for Bachelor, then? 100% love that! But I want him protected at all times from the shenanigans of Bachelor Nation.

Michael A’s story resonates with me so strongly that I sobbed when he told the guys and again when he told Katie. My twin died of breast cancer last March. Her husband and her were together since they were 25. She found a lump when her oldest just turned 4 and her twins were 9 months and died 3 months before their 4th birthday. They also traveled the cancer clinical trail which is so heartbreaking in the highs and lows for everyone but especially the cancer patient. I’m scared for when my BIL starts to date again because I don’t want the kids to forget they had a mother but I know he needs love. Michael expressed his active love for his wife so articulately. He can love her and fall in love again. And Katie handled it so gently. I loved when she said Laura’s name and acknowledged the relationship. Not just trying it to his son but rather emphasizing that he loved her and will always love her but love grows. I don’t know. I’m super emotional now and projecting to what I hope happens to myBIL. ( minus going on a reality TV show but since he’s from Cork, Ireland and every other word is a swear I’m not too worried. 😂)

Well since this seems to be the thread for snark (I sobbed during Mike A date which I’ll explain on the episode thread) but Hunter’s arm sleeve just screams “I’m short and work out my upper body”. He seems nice as a human though so I feel bad for writing this:

Darlene, when you are proposing to your boyfriend who is currently living in his store because you both have fundamental financial planning differences not to mention lifestyle clashes not to mention your habit of lying to avoid conflict, you may want to re-think your life. I really hope the writers watch back on that scene with Geena and the litany of bad things that happen to the Connors this year and make some changes for the positive.

I’m so bummed! It was such a sweet show and a welcome break every week. And it was consistently funny. (Looking at you Connors). Man, I’m still upset at ABC for cancelling the Kids are Alright and this doesn’t help. Maybe Freeform will pick it up. ☹️

@Browncoat St.Paul Cathedral is also where I discovered that I a horrible fear of falling. I managed to get a few pics but my hands were so sweaty and shaking that they are blurry. I had to keep my back against the wall and practically inched my way around. I then discovered I get claustrophobic walking down stairs in a circle. Not the best time!😂.

They are getting into a good groove. Aunt Denise is my favorite and she plays off well with each character. I really hope we see her on a Black-ish episode!

In last season June found out that he died in a car or bike accident (I forgot which one). She told Janie that he was still alive and happy in California.

I read an article title on Vulture about how the catfish won this morning so I thought for sure it was River since he was the super influencer last episode. I spent the whole day thinking I was spoiled. Imagine my surprise and delight now!! I liked them all but was rooting for Trevor. I absolutely love this silly show!

I think Chole and Lee/River are the front runners but I personally want Trevor. Or John because Jack/Lisa make me laugh the most.

I finally watched it and the torture scenes weren’t as bad as I imagined (not that I’m imagining torture on the regular 😂). Thanks again for everyone who told me to hang in there. For some reason this season is leaving me feeling off. I’m not connecting with most of the characters besides Moira and oddly Luke. I agree with most of the discourse about June/plot armor really taking the stakes out of any tension. And I was really po’d about Alma. She was the only one who voiced reason/dissent to June and now that she’s gone I’m afraid of more hero-worship with no repercussions from her actions that aren’t hand waved away (I.e they casually mention that there was a massive purge at the brothel and hardly any of those Jezebels survived and we’re supposed to be ok with that?). I’m going to continue to watch because it is still excellent acting, music choices, etc but I really hope they tighten up plot lines.

I loved how Leah squeaked laughed out ‘yeah I know him as hot priest’ when Anderson asked if no one saw the show. Same here, Leah! I was convinced that FJ would be ‘aerie’ but obviously I read the clue wrong!
