  1. Anyone else check out the 2 episode premiere? I love the new credits; you can certainly see the themes of the show woven into them. I'm happy the show is back! So much pain being poorly coped with. From Pops to Angel to Miguel to Coco. I feel for Pops, and EZ obviously not knowing what in the world to do for him. Nice seeing EZ come into his own as a full patch and bringing ideas to the table. The execution of these ideas seem very questionable. Alicia looked so nervous in the car that the border, that we all knew she would get caught. This running H thru Arizona seems problematic if they can't figure out how to get it and many of their supply lines are broken or busted. I like Gaby, but clearly her status and his illegal activities are going to be an issue for them. She seem sweet and loving, and he needs that, but they need to be careful not to make her too perfect Mary Sue character. Adelita is so broken. I feel for her more than probably most other characters. She's been tortured, missing her newborn, and she finally is free only to see the horrible things Pablo is having the group do to survive. That very pregnant girl measuring out coke was particularly jarring. Angel is a damn mess. Sigh. I don't want to see him spiral into random, sad sex after random sad sex to bury his feelings. Oh, Coco. Junkie on Oxy and know getting beatdown by some weird meth head version of Deliverance. Lawd. I hope he and Letty salvage their relationship and he gets help (once he escapes the meth heads). Danny Pino looks good cleanly shaved, but oh geez, is Miguel's life a mess. So, he's blaming himself and taking that out on everyone else? The psychiatrist didn't deserve that. Paco didn't deserve that (I hope we find out someone...Alvarez, maybe checked in on his son). How many others has he hurt in his grief? He's cheating on Emily with that official. Still don't care for Emily. I don't understand why she's important, or what her character brings to the table. Bringing her sister in is meant to do what exactly? The Galindo home are the weakest parts of the episodes now that Dita is gone. Palo is one bad dude, and he's probably really, really pissed off after Grandma's bday blowout. Can't wait to see what happens when those chickens come home to roost. Probably the most fun part of the episode for me was the boys going to the bar. Their normal recklessness and pure id are one of the things I appreciate most. I love Angel just casually grabbing a barstool for weaponry. LOL. The other small amusement is that Coco's dealer's kid is a Girl Scout. We call them cookie pushers in my house, so we cackled at the sweet little girl dealing them cookies.
  2. Man, these people. Mike/Natalie - Their little fakey fakey "look at how much fun we are" told me the other shoe was going to drop. No doubt. I will say, it was becoming clear that Mike actively disliked her and she seems to hold a larger than normal cup of crazy. That said, I was sad for her. Why string her along? Why make her think it is happening? Man, just send her ass back to Ukraine. What is Mike's fucking deal? Amira/Andrew - Andrew is a gaslighting, controlling POS. I have never forgiven him for the Mexico situation and him just staying at this resort jet skiing and eating steak pretending to give a shit about Amira. So now, he sends her to a country that is having riots, on Rona lockdown, and has supply issues with food. He doesn't call and such bc he is so very busy. Amira was scared (I would be too), and felt that he once again pressured her and he abandoned her. Again, where is his uncertain sacrifice? Now he wants to be all butthurt b/c she is questioning whether his gaslighting, entitled ass would be selfless enough to be a father? FOH, man. I hope she goes back to France and that's it. She shouldn't have done this. His Post Malone ass doesn't seem worth the trouble. He's shady, entitled, and has a clear pattern. Her entire life would be one pressured situation to another whether that's where to move, what car to drive, kids to have etc etc until one of them dies. Girl, if there is any bone in your body that isn't dumb af, you should run from him. Stephanie/Interchangeable Belize Man (to her....b/c ppl shouldn't be interchangeable) - I'm Caribbean (Trinidadian), so my first reaction to Harris was "oh my god, she went with the coconut man?!" No diss or anything but he's a bit lower on the social ladder and so is probably going to say and do almost anything to get with this crazy, rich American bat. Y'all remember that controversial skit on SNL with Adele about horny white divorcees going to Africa to get laid by younger men? That's this. Honestly, Stephanie seems both terrible and slightly off her gourd. It's just gross that everything is about her throwing her money around. She doesn't respect these men, but is interested in having a younger, exotic man. Harris describing taking care of the house and being her guard and stuff was really cringe worthy on an incredibly cringe worthy show. P.S. That psychic is probably working on summer home #2 thanks to Stephanie's crazy. Jovi/Yara - So, what did this little bitch do in the Champagne Room?! What an asshole. Was asked to come home at a decent hour and not wasted and couldn't do either. And the look in his eye as he was undressing and his body language told me he was interested in getting some from Yara. Gross. But, this is the man she has chosen. He and every human he knows continue to state exactly who he is over and over, and she continues to think he might be something different. Yara is obviously unhappy in NOLA, is lonely, feeling insecure and hormonal in a strange city, with people who don't seem to have her best interest. She should probably go home, but what then of the baby?! Sigh. Rebecca/Zied - Lawd. She can't live without creating, exacerbating, and feeding problems. It's impossible for her. So, Rebecca loses her ring and so now she wants Zied to do what? If he reacts AT ALL in a negative way to her, she will blow up. Acting in a "I mean, Imma play my game" got him bawled out and she took off. Zied is no prize and, this whole married prior to Ramadan thing is something they should have talked about while he was home still, but she is a drama queen. She is so entitled and bitchy for someone who has been married 3 times already. Zied is an ass, but I do feel for him: He's alone most of the time (and missed his family) and when she is home, she is probably an incredible pain in his ass (complaining, creating drama, whining). Rebecca does not understand satisfaction and it shows on her face and in her life. Almost forgot...Tarik/Hazel - Yeah, no. Tarik wants to play and thinks her bisexuality is going to be a ticket to a fairly open marriage. Hazel seems really new and unsure and is probably trying to understand her own footing. They communicate so poorly, and don't seem to have any real love for each other.
  3. My husband and I binged this one, and while it was very bingeable and fun, I too do not know if a second season feels good. Rebecca is a cold blooded murderer and user and James is her enabling sap. She seems to lose only by forfeiting the people she wants to have, but sees no other consequences. Watching a bad guy win over and over gets tedious. The actor playing James was somewhat endearing and then I quickly kept remember what he has let happen over and over again. I didn't put together that Sam was still clinging to life and Rebecca shoved him into the Thames anyways until we saw it in this last episode. I also appreciate that while she hides well in plain sight, it doesn't take a lot for people (Sam's sister, Matheus) to quickly hear info and put together that she is indeed shady af. I felt so sad for Matheus. He could have been living his best life surfing in Tenerife, and here he is getting stabbed by a dude (who was both already unhinged and newly driven) who was pissed about The One. Lying ass Sofia, man. I just don't know how I trust someone that seems to lie and switch around her life so seemingly easily. I am intrigued that the brother may indeed be another match for Kate. In general, I really liked Kate and I appreciated that she is the good guy to Rebecca's bad guy. Cool seeing these smart women going toe to toe. I was screaming at Hannah the entire time. Her piss poor decision making put her in an unenviable position, and puts Mark in one too. I actual liked Meghan at the beginning, but her seemingly singular focus on "you're my match so fuck the rest of your whole life" did not endear me to her. Another great ethical question when someone can just test someone else like Hannah did with Mark and Meghan did with Hannah. I think the best thing about the show is that conversations my husband and I had as we were watching. It's an interesting moral quandary. What would you do if you are married? Or if you end up with someone who is kind of a terrible person? Or if your match dies before you get together? I think our biggest discussion is what the match means? Like you are match on attraction and compatibility of chromosomes and pheromones, but is that all that constitutes true, enduring love?
  4. Y'all are killing it on this thread. I liked all the things! I'm in heavy agreement with many thoughts. I am a latecomer to the show and binged all the seasons in January/early Feb. Man, what was I waiting for?! Major thoughts: In general, this show is way better than it has any real right to be. It's cheesy, melodramatic, and the fights are so crazy in how ubiquitous they are, but somehow it works. I love these ppl, and I love the cheesy goodness. And, I'm shocked by how well the humor works. While Daniel has forgotten some of "the struggle", I don't think he has truly been the bad guy. He's made some petty ass decisions and done some dumb things that he rightfully should be called out for, but he isn't fundamentally wrong, IMO: Cobra Kai (the Kreese version) is really bad for these kids. He didn't know that Johnny had a different approach, but he remembered the guy that was the leader of Kreese's world and the s1 finale showed that "no mercy" was not good for Miguel or Hawk. William Zabka is a revelation. Man, he kills every scene he in in. Excellent chemistry with the adults. Excellent care/harshness with the kids. He makes Johnny someone you want to root for, even when he's been a self destructive douche. Johnny's whole vibe isn't my thing, but I think I have a small fictional crush! Crazy! I root for Carmen and Johnny! I hated the push pull of the Daniel/Johnny relationship most season...they would find common ground and then something small that could easily be resolved would fuck it up. Cmon, guys. Adult. Geez. I loved the cop motif (to Motley Crue's sublime Kickstart My Heart) when looking for Robby. That did, however, make Ali showing up all that much sweeter. I loved that everyone apologized to everyone, and some of the old hurts can truly start to heal. I also continue to appreciate Daniel's wife...she seems like a cool chick who gives the audience a bit of perspective wink "these are two grown men fighting about karate dojos". With the kids, I'm compelled by both Miguel and Robby for different reasons. With Miguel, I find that his core is very much like KK1 Daniel - he's sweet, kind hearted, but has a chip on his shoulder for what he's dealing with, and I can't be mad at him. I appreciate seeing his journey back from that terrible injury to being the Miguel we love. I appreciated his scenes with Daniel; maybe the rest of the adults are screwed up, but Miguel is the only one who has heard both sides of the Daniel/Johnny saga from both men. Xolo infuses such sincerity and sweetness into Miguel. With Robby, I feel for his pain, but all of that "tough" hides a very sensitive soul. He's hurt by his parents over and over. He is mentored by Daniel and falls for Sam at the same time, so he clearly feels like the rug is pulled out from him when he is left in juvie. And Kreese is good at preying on young souls in need and pain, so that's what happened here. I hope we get Robby seeing that Kreese is a huge jerk (b/c Kreese eventually always shows his true colors). Tanner gives Robby such sensitivity and pain, and that pain looks like anger sometimes. I struggle with Sam and Tory. Sam as a character is a Herculean task and the writers don't do her favors...she is caught in the teen love triangle, she is the original protagonist's kid, and she makes some questionable decisions in her own pain. I like her and root for her, but sometimes I think "oh, baby, what is you doing?!" With Tory, I feel for her backstory, but do not believe it in any way justifies her terrible, shitty, sadistic behavior. From the S2 finale thru now, she seems to relish in poor decisions and taking pleasure in other's pain b/c she is also in pain. I don't know that the actress is strong enough, IMO, to carry that for me. And, please, don't put her and Robby together. What a gd mess that would be. I like Demetri and Hawk. I hope Hawk stays on the good side of things. My heart broke for the abuse he suffered for his physical lip issue and his introversion. Him turning that into bullying and aggression was so not cool. Kreese is the worst. I know he's meant to be, but, lord, the mustache twirling almost omnipotent character feels very 80s. I think that's the point, but where does he go from here. Like many of you, I look at the breaking and entering and destruction of property (I hope these ppl have a glass guy that gives a volume discount) as a 38 yr old woman with bills, a job, a mortgage, and an air fryer with a level of Karen like outrage. "Someone? Call the authorities right away!" That last fight in the LaRusso house was brutal. Fuck them Cobra Kai kids, all y'all going to jail. WTF.
  5. It seems to me that Gina definitely got herself fired. She works for a company (like so many of us), and her words have consequences (like for so many of us), and she made her own choices. It doesn't matter her politics or whatever, it has everything to do her choices to share the things she has and the company she signed a contract with making a decision based on their considerations. This isn't a singular incident, and I'm sure she was given advice in the fall. She chose to ignore that advice, so the consequences of her coin being lost belong to her. I think Cara is a great female role, but I don't think that Gina is irreplaceable in that role (and a better actor might be good). Thus, I'm all for the recast. I love Lucy Lawless, but I would want to have more of her than we would get. I've seen Lana Parilla's name pop up (from Once Upon a Time), who I love, but am unsure if she can do the action, which is important. I'm certain they can find someone great. My December was spent watching Pedro (Mando, Narcos, WW84), and that has made me a huge fan. I'm excited to see him getting such high profile roles. He seems like a good dude, and I am fascinated by him as an actor.
  6. I am SO hyped for this! I love the couples therapy approach (and good call on that fun Michael Early show...I think it was called Common Law...I really enjoyed it), and the action and conspiracy vibe is feels like TWS. I'm really intrigued...Zemo is a good villain, but mostly because Bruhl is REALLY good. IMO, our best Marvel villains no matter how poorly drawn are saved by extraordinary actors (like, Zemo, or Loki...Killmonger fits a villain portrayed by a great actor, but he is thankfully drawn super well too). I'm not as familiar with Agent 13/Sharon, but I would love to see Peggy's niece as a GD badass vs. a lame possible love interest. Stan and Mackie have such gorgeous, natural chaotic energy, and I'm here to see how to goes. The bar is super high, IMO, b/c of the low expectations/high reward payoff scenario coming from Wandavision.
  7. Pushing this back up, as it premiered on HBO a few weeks back. I don't generally seek out Guy Ritchie movies (after Snatched and Lock Stock, he never reached those highs again. Though, Man from UNCLE was fun and the cast was legit), but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Hugh Grant looking craggy and being this asshole character was excellent, and Colin Farrell always impresses. Nice to see both men who have some demons and issues finding their way back to the art. Hugh has, IMO, never done better work than he is doing right now, and Colin seems to innately have a sense about his characters that I appreciate. In truth, I didn't feel a misstep in any of the actors. I am hot and cold on McConaughey (thought he was brilliant in True Detective, but he's a lot of person outside of the roles for me), but liked his dark, calculating character work here. I love Charlie Hunnam, and I believe that he has this sympatico with Guy Ritchie that pulls out the best in him. This is on full display. Nice to see Henry Golding getting work, and doing so well, as I really like him. Michelle Dockery deserves good things, so I'm glad to see her cunning on display. I believe that was supposed to be Kate Bekinsdale and it didn't work out, but I think Michelle did great. The plot was manic and fun, and the script was snappy and silly and raw just as I would expect from Guy Ritchie. He has a niche with these type of things and really does a nice action sequence. The trip to get back the heroine addicted daughter of the Lord was very well done, especially Hunnam's run through the streets and discussion about the phone.
  8. I love Pillowtalk, but I already pay for cable, so TLC and their overlords aren't going to get a penny out of me. Sorry, not sorry. Honestly, I think it is going to hurt them a bit from a sustainability perspective to not be able to draw their stuff out with both this and Strikes Back. Let's see what happens when it launches. I'm sure the bigger home improvement names will be a draw, but for how long? The market is saturated with these station series.
  9. Chicago Redshirt, I agree with your assessment. Siena's conversation with another self made woman in Mademoiselle Eloise really underlines that while they would like the security, they see the peerage, ton women as pretty caged birds, and neither have real interest in that. From a modern perspective, I appreciate that. Duke Hastings looks like he was meant to be in those clothes. What a gloriously dashing, charming man! (That actor is fine like wine) You can tell the riding boots did give him trouble. In that last scene of the two making up fully, Hastings picks Daphne up and it looks like he stumbles a moment. I giggled a little. Heh. I struggle a bit with how neatly at least a couple decades worth of trauma was so quickly resolved for Hastings, and I really was taken out of the story with the episode 6 rape-y, WTF scene. It makes it hard to cheer for our young lovers, and I haven't been able to look at Daphne the same way. That said, I would like to see more of the two balancing their roles as duke/duchess, parents, and the responsibilities therein. We did see a little bit, but their young passion (over and over and over, for pete's sake) was their whole thing in the middle of running the house. Truly, Daphne is the least interesting of all of her siblings. The kids are fun, the brothers are characterized well, worts and all, Eloise is an interesting plucky character, the little we saw of Francesca was good. Daphne is very pretty and very boring. I get that is the trope you have with a character who is meant to be part of the BIG LOVE THING, but oy... I find Anthony interesting as a character, and wonder how that will work out b/c him being a cold fish viscount in need of an obligation of a bride is rough. He's a tough character b/c he bottles up his desires and urges b/c he feels like he's the great Viscount and should, but falls mightily almost each time. I do not believe he is a bad man, but one who is misguided and indulged, so learning boundaries and how to treat people, especially women people, isn't high on his list. I hope for a great lady to challenge that, and he not end up with some doormat that obliges his bullshit. I also hope that the great lady doesn't try to reform or fix him b/c he's a grown ass man, and needs to come to some of these realizations on his own. I may be asking for too much. I love Lady Danbury. That's my whole statement about her. Her dresses were always amazing, and the actress truly delivered with such panache. The Featherington sisters were very well drawn; these ladies reminded me of the vapid Austen characters that were clearly meant to be sharp satire. Pen as Her Lady Gossip Girl, makes sense up until you really dissect the Marina article. I get that she was very upset, but way to burn down your whole face to spite your nose. So, to your points above, who is she? Is she worldly (understanding the nuance of human relationships and where babies come from), or she a meek girl just repeating and putting together what she hears and observes? And to what end? I feel for Marina b/c while she is not an innocent party, she obviously didn't have a real choice in the matter. B/c she and child, the child that belongs to the man she knows loved her, would be in the street. Hopefully, the brother is good guy, and they can learn to have a good life together for themselves and for the child. It was so frustrating to see all the consequences of actions simply because women were allowed no agency over themselves, their bodies, or their sexuality. All in all, my friends and I binged in a day and a half and couldn't stop texting each other about it. Beautiful, lush look and feel with pretty people doing things. While the big romance was the least interesting, the whole thing was pretty dang good. Good holiday break show!
  10. For all that new powder blue suit, Tarik couldn't straighten up his beard!? He looked like a poorly kept new Nation of Islam member. To be fair, Tarik actually IS a raggedy beard. I said what I said. Hazel bitching about the messy house...now I remember why I didn't like her. She is clearly overwhelmed, which is understandable, but instead of expressing that, she needed to shit on the house being "messy" (it looked cluttered, but messy is a bit much). Bitch, what are your coming from again? FOH. I have concerns that Tarik's horny teenager thing is pussy blinding him to reality, and that reality is that he has a special needs child and I wonder if Hazel and her desires and her obviously lukewarm feelings for Tarik will make her a successful stepmom. Robert and Annie were a gd mess, but she was IN to be a mom to Bryson from the jump. Plus, this whole Dean and Tarik on the outs thing is meant to be their B story (with the trouple piece being the A story), so...meh. Are these cold Eastern European women just magic in bed or something? B/c their personalities are not sparkling (surly, is more like it), and they are 'aight looking, but a bit fake and all seem super high maintenance and cold. Natalie is just off for me. She was during their original season and she is now. Like, why are you pouting over french toast and getting passive aggressive with some carrots? Tell him your concerns (Look, this is cool, but I don't eat like this. For me to be comfortable here, I would like to have fresh fruit and veggies, etc, etc), or STFU. I hated that she kicked Uncle Beau out, and you know she has no intention of letting him back in. Oh, and that kitty better watch it's back. Watch her "take care of it" b/c it has the devil /witch in it or something. There is something really off about Natalie. Every time she talked about the ring, I was like "THE ONE YOU THREW BACK AT HIM?!". Mike is an idiot, though. How does he think she will be any different?! All these people bitching about the men going back to work too quickly...how do you think the damn fool is gonna afford your expensive ass?! Jovi and Mike need to work. Look, if this whiny, useless chick doesn't want that Cajun cooking, honey, my thick brown ass would LOVE it. A hs bf was Cajun, and I loved going to his parents house to eat...frankly, I think I liked it more than the boy. HAHA. I agree with you all: Yara wants there to be problems and NOTHING will ever be good enough for her. I literally don't understand what they see in each other. I'm going to be mean: She's cute, but not "dear god, forget it all" hot to be worth all this trouble. Neither of them seem happy. Jovi def seemed way happier before she got here. I don't see where the rest of their story is b/c it is going to be rinse, lather, repeat of Yara bitching and Jovi telling her not to be a bitch with a little bit of "why is Jovie such a party boy". It isn't a good look for either party. It would be have been better to give Brandon and Julia a bit of private time. I don't disagree with the house rules, but it is unfair to the 2 young lovers to not let them have private time. The passive aggression when they told the parents that they were going to to dinner alone. Geez! Julia does have her moments of cute...I actually think she genuinely likes Brandon's dad (I do too), so her skipping off with him to get burgers was sweet. These "do it for the gram" people confuse me b/c I would much rather snap a few pics and then explore. That national lawn portion of DC is so cool (as an immigrant, I was in awe when we went...like...WOW...AMERICA), and there is so much to see and learn. Maybe I'm showing my age with the snootiness about the photos. Amira and Andrew. I don't have a good read. Something about him reads weird or off to me, but I don't know what. He seems to have some desperation, but is quite well spoken. Amira, girl, maybe go to the other capital cities in the EU before you come to some schlep in the US. She also seems a little off. Her town in France looks incredibly charming through these American eyes, but I wonder if her 1/2 Egyptian side makes things difficult for her with those townspeople? I'm not 100% sure how the racial dynamics work there, but I've certainly seen a bit about nationalist movements. The whole Mexico thing seems REALLY shady, and I'm concerned for her. Personally, I agree that she should wait and try again. vs. do this weird thing With the Rona, is the gov not just extending deadlines on these visas?
  11. After DNA dropped, my head turned for BTS. I'm in my 30s, so while this isn't NKOTB or Nsync levels for me, I do like BTS. They are fun, the messaging for their fans is rather deep, and their production, especially on live shows (check out their latest remote entry for James Corden or the Grand Central Station performance on Fallon) is always great. I think they have def smoothed out some of the sloppiness in their performance for sure. Frankly, I'm super impressed at how amazingly quickly they have picked up English. That's pretty cool. This year has me feeling some kind of way, and I fell down the Nsync live performance rabbit hole this past weekend. I loved them then, but man, those guys were really something. No voice (smooth, sexy, rich) and no performer (crisp, but smooth, powerful, alluring) will ever appeal to me the way that JC Chasez did; I'm still so sad he wasn't a bigger deal after the group broke up. With the 20th anniversary (OMG...wut) of No Strings Attached happening over this past summer, Lance had each guy on his podcast. They were all really good; Lance asked some tough, but respectful questions and all the guys were clearly doing this b/c it was Lance asking. JC seems particularly happy doing production/writing and not performing or being in the spotlight. He specifically talked about the solo album not being a good experience for him, and that he thrives better in the group setting (I can speculate what position he took at that final band meeting in 2004). I think I remember even in their big days that he was always super careful about his money, so I am sure after performing his entire adolescence (at the MMC) and then thru his 20s, he is happy doing whatever makes him happy. But, I'm not going to lie and say that I don't miss his voice on records and the pure passion he sang with. I will always love Ralph Tresvant, Jordan Knight, and Joey McIntrye, but no voice touched me like JC's did. To my husband's great chagrin, the holiday album I keep on replay is the Nsync album, and JC blew the roof off on that one. As an Nsync fan, I was happy for Justin's success (as the youth say, my bias was always JC, though), but these last couple of albums and the last tour felt weird. The Man of the Woods show was excellent production and JT was good, but that heart, playfulness, and excitement I remember him with when he was in Nsync wasn't there. 20/20 was a bit self indulgent, and that double record could have been 1 solid 8 song record; Man of the Woods was ok, but not one I find I relisten to. That may just be the impact of being older or wanting to do more, different things, but watching the old videos, I miss his spark (even if it was wasn't him my eyes were following). I don't know if there are Blockheads on here, but I have been super impressed with the New Kids fan engagement throughout the pandemic from April to now. They have been doing some very candid live streams where one of their folks asks them some hard questions, have them react to old video clips, or play games. It was the 30th anniversary of the Step by Step album (what is happening!), and they talked about how unhappy and overworked they were. It was fascinating to hear their perspectives and such from that time. B/c they were everywhere...music, the cartoon, the comic, touring, commercials, etc. Since their normal cruise was in April and was cancelled b/c of the Rona, they held a virtual cruise with lives/streams/events, they did a special stream about the Fenway shows, they just did a holiday potluck live stream. Plus, they released House Party with Boyz II Men, Naughty by Nature, Jordan Sparks, and Big Freedia, and a weird, wonderful little quarantine video to go with it. I love seeing how much they seem to have command over their ship these days and how much engagement they put in with the fandom. I've always been a huge fan, but this year really underlined my love. It's weird to say, but I genuinely feel cared for as a Blockhead.
  12. I so enjoyed the bookend of the sons watching with their moms. It was fabulous how judgmental each set of moms/sons were regarding the others. "I would never do that" "That's too far" "This poor girl" I hate to tell y'all, but every single one of you is just as terrible. Maybe in some facets, some are worse than others, but they are ALL a damn mess. And the stuff they all agreed about were things that fell into their own traps (e.g. moving away, putting the mom above everything else). For sure the other guys got the same vibe about Matt the way some of us did. Again, it doesn't matter to me, so long as everyone in their situation is on the same page. It feels a little disingenuous at this point. I hope Emily has gone off to do her thing without Shakeb b/c he and Laila deserve each other. He deserves to live in his mama's house for life in a loveless/sexless situation and/or marry some Afghani chick (b/c that worked out so well the first time) b/c no woman should have to deal with Laila's nasty ass and Shakeb's apron strung cowardice. I was sad that we didn't get to see Justine and Jason and crazy ass Annette one more time. I actually liked Justine and Jason a lot.
  13. Rebecca and her constant calling out of the age difference completely is about her total insecurity. Honey, no one cares but you. "Isn't he handsome?" "Did I misspeak on my age?" Also, did these people single handedly keep Shutterfly in business?! Shirt? Mugs? BLANKETS!? FFS. I actually kind of like Julia. She seems fun and quirky. Boy, her and Brandon just probably needed to keep moving through that lust bubble before deciding to marry, though. I completely agree with his parents, but their approach was pure bullshit, and Brandon just sitting there was painful to watch. Lots of silence with these people. Man, why would Jovi take Yara to Bourbon St at the jump? Why not a nice little cajun cafe for chicory coffee and beignets? How early y'all drankin'? Dang. Yara is VERY complain-y, and Jovi is very "meh, whatever". This is another couple who are all about the lusty fun (nothing wrong with that), but aren't really compatible for a life together in committed marriage. For godsakes, bump your sexy bits, but y'all don't need to be married. Tarik has created a hot damn mess for himself. So, from I gathered, this is the equation: (Tarik + Hazel) - Hazel + (Tarik + Minty) + Hazel. Now, I don't have clarity on what happens after their 2 days of fun. Are we saying that they all hooked up, and then Hazel was jealous and Minty was asked to go away? Did she go away? I agree with some of the other posters that it may have been Hazel and Minty together causing Tarik some discomfort. Tarik and Hazel seem to not be in a trusting, secure place to truly open up their relationship, and it not be a disaster. Neither seem to have the emotional maturity needed. Frankly, Hazel is probably excited to explore her bisexuality, especially b/c of the oppressive nature of the country she is living in, than deal with Tarik b/c she never really seemed all that into him. I don't know that I can blame her for that. Totally, you are showing your kid exactly what he should not do. That's quality parenting.
  14. Man, Annette is a manipulative snake. Crying in the toy store was so unnecessary, and as I suspected last week, had nothing to do with this and everything to do with the wedding situation and not respecting the parenting boundaries Justine and Jason are trying to establish. I SO appreciate Justine standing up for herself in a couple of ways. She was always reasonable and respectful, which makes Annette's whole cry, smile in her face, and bitch about her winning in the THs all that more gross. It is also helping Jason set some boundaries with Annette that he probably hasn't before. Can you imagine them taking her up on the offer to pack a bag and move in for a few MONTHS during the Rona?! WTF?! You know Justine put her foot down. That would have been a disaster, so of course, mommy is upset that they didn't take her up on her "generous" offer to come and insert herself into their lives. I can see now why Sister Jason doesn't have a good relationship with mom; Annette is fake and a bulldozer, and I'm sure the dad, like most of the dads on this series, just stay out of the fray. Holy shit. This. THIS RIGHT HERE. The Oedipal nature of these relationships super creep me out. Some of the other ones are controlling (Annette) and overbearing to hold on to the only thing she feels like she has (80s hair mom), but Shakeb and ESPECIALLY Matt seem to be happy to live under their mommies' labias for the rest of their lives. The wrestling on the couch was weird to watch. I have never seen anything like that before. And Leila's instance of how close her and Shakeb have become all totally smack of a jealous girlfriend. Emily and Kim need to go find actual men, who have an interest in prioritizing them and have healthy boundaries with their moms, b/c it is clear to me that these women have always been fighting a losing battle by fighting for these little boys. And, I'm sorry, I can't help it, but Matt continues to raise an eyebrow to me. As long as you are honest with yourself and those women you claim to hold dear, then more power to you...but...live your truth, sir.
  15. I am 100% here for Howdy Doody and his weird sparkling puppet eyes with this Russia go go dancer in Diwiddie, VA. I actually think his parents are pretty great, and would also be horrified to find out that he and her have no interest in birth control. FFS! "I don't want to commit to all of that"?! WTF. You are ready to commit to a child with a woman you've known HOW LONG?! You're 27, sir. Do better. I am not super interested in Alien Probe Mike and Intense Natalie, nor Rebecca and Zied, but I guess we'll keep watching these trainwrecks. I forgot how creepy I found Zied and how useless I found Rebecca. Her daughter's redneck good ole boyfriend and Zied should be LOTS of fun to watch. Jovi isn't ready for a commitment one damn bit. Are they Cajun b/c I loved hearing him and his mama talk?! But, this boy (and he is a boy), while smart and adorable bayou lifestyle mixed with partying and world travel is in no way a match for make-up city girl Yara for a long-term commitment. I hate that I've watched this series (I refuse to call it a universe like the Discovery+ ppl want us to) long enough to where I kind of question pregnancy situations. I don't know this girl, and certainly it could have been a truthful situation, but these ppl and production have always been so shady. Do these people not think in any way other their their genitals (the 'Muricans) and/or their papers (the foreigners, who I'm consistently less annoyed by)?! (shallow) Jovi is really cute in pictures where he isn't smiling b/c he looks a bit like Bruce the Shark "fish are friends, not food" when he is(/shallow). The women on this show who are Russian or Ukrainian don't have the best track record and their temperament/attitude/coldness don't ever seem like a good match for any of the Americans they find themselves with, except maybe David and his "I've dated 100s of Ukrainian and Russia women". None of these people seem like they are going to break that mold, but I'm happy to give them a chance. I see we haven't met all the couples yet, and haven't gotten the return of Tarik. Two hours was def long enough to get to everyone, but I guess we are dragging this out. I wonder when this was filmed compared to the Rona timing here in the States.
  16. Ummm, Jenny, because she has no money and mooches off people. Make sure you keep your sons locked up from this seemingly innocuous houseguest. A couple more thoughts as a South Asian American: 1) We treat guests very well. Like, super well. All the stuff Jenny mentioned is easily what I would see my mom doing for ANY house guest (family or non family). So, it isn't special, and her clinging to that is sad. Plus, it may all have been before auntie-ji realized you were banging her useless son. Then? All bets are AWF. 2) South Asian culture is one of, IMO, hyperbole. The amount of times I have heard "Oh, you want to kill your mother?" when I do something that my parents disagree about. Suicide is serious shit, and there are somethings that shouldn't be said in jest or to exaggerate a point. It is fucked up, but it is a somewhat normative part of the culture, IMO. I will say my generation tries to counter that with respectful answers, but it a hardship. There is a pretty legit bit that a comedian does that illustrates the thing: Sidhu Vee "You put 2 spoons of chocolate in the milk, fine, I'm going to beat myself to death. You stay here an enjoy your milk." I am not saying it is right (in fact, I think it is very wrong), but it isn't as abnormal as you may think.
  17. Justine's sisters and Jason's sister are THE BEST. They weren't fucking around with the mom's shitty ideas and tacky stuff. The red ribbon was SO insane. I see some of my mom in Jason's mom. Much of her chagrin is not being totally in the know from bowel movement to wedding jacket, but it is also about her innate controlling need to have things totally and completely her way from her POV b/c other POVs are wrong. The ugly ass red jacket is a great example; I would have said, fuck your tacky jacket, but Justine's thought process of "wear that for the mother-son dance" is generous and giving in without selling out to the control freak. Also, you can tell her concerns about the venue in Vegas are not about anyone but her and her people (she doesn't really care, but army of 1 isn't going to make her argument), and I'm glad her daughter called her out. You can tell Paige CANNOT with her mother and was happy to have the sisters as back up. Next week's tears have zero to do with the immediate situation and everything to do with the anger she feels at all the other stuff and her lack of info and control. She's just going to use that as the "in" to emotionally manipulate her boy and if she doesn't get her way, blame Justine (who seems lovely). The issue with the young ski couple was clear tonight: He has no real interest in his mom not wiping his ass, but he wants to have sex with a girl and pretend to be independent. 80s hair mom needs to go out, and live life. It doesn't have to include a man, unless she wants, but, Jesus, go take a pottery class and make some friends, so you can let your son grow up. He obviously needs it. Shakeb is another one who likes having his mom up his ass. Even thought marriage #1 with Afgani girl mom guilted him into marrying didn't work out, she's coming again b/c her perfect boy needs to marry an Afgani and make little Afgani grandkids. Shakeb needs to decide if he wants that life or one of his own choosing. Laila is a monster; I know some of this is scripted and producer driven, but you can tell the worst parts of her are not. Emily needs to go. Find a Korean man. Or a black man. Or a white man. Or a Latino man. Or a South Asian man. Or another middle eastern man. Just not this one. His dick and personality cannot be worth the trouble. I was happy to not have Matt and his mom and his "girlfriend" on this week. They are tew much wrong. Frankly, I'm annoyed I've even thought this much about this POS show, but here I am.
  18. Oof. What a damn mess. Except for sweet Kenny and Armando. I will say, most of these ppl looked like they felt sure the end of their story on the show was in fact the end of their relationship in some form or another. I don't know how true that is in many cases, but that felt like a more cerebral (loosely) effort by the TLC ppl. Weird we aren't getting a tell all. 1) Jenny and Mama's Emotional Blackmail Victim - I was wondering when Mother Sumit would hit the "I'll kill myself" drama. She did not at all disappoint. That said, it is quite clear that homeboy was super relieved. "well, can't take the chance...sorry...maybe we can get you to stay, but I'm not going to try too hard...here is a picnic by a cow with shitty wine and a ring that literally means NOTHING" Honestly, Jenny would be better off going home and starting her life for the 3rd or 4th time. This isn't for you, honey. I'm sorry. I know it is quite the blow, but girl, he has NO interest in marrying you. After this season, I actually genuinely dislike Sumit too; he ain't shit. 2) Deaven and Jihoon - That was so weird, and didn't feel great, even though the factory wedding was nicer than they had any right to have. Somehow even made up, Deaven looked like a ghoul. Maybe it is her unpleasant demeanor. The continued saga of Deaven taking no responsibility for her own actions really drives their narrative. I get that Jihoon is useless, but you had a baby and married him. Twice. Looking at him like you hate him while you pack your shit to run back home is partly your fault too, bish. Taeyoung and his little chunky self has my heart, but deserves a much better parental situation. Drisilla still seems like a mfing monster; I can't imagine being cooped up with her during quarantine. 3) Fucking Ari and Baby. She's another one who needs to take responsibility for her choices. She has anxiety. This much is clear, but instead of trying to explain it to Baby, she just holds it in like a martyr and freaks the fuck out on him. Even though I don't believe she is incorrect in feeling like it was too much with a 1 month old, she agreed to go. Dressed her ass up and went only to start bitching like hell 10 steps into the festival. There were kids everywhere; why is your little prince so damn special. I unfairly cackled when Baby said in the most matter-of-fact way that she freaked out about the holy water b/c the evil spirit that possesses was scared. Bro. You proposed to a woman who you knocked up (outside of marriage...fun for you being super religious and all), treats you like shit, and who you amazingly think is possessed by an evil spirit. GTFO, Baby. You deserve her, demon spirit and all. [unrelated: I died laughing at the "will you marry me?" sign coming out after the proposal. It is so on brand POC to mess up the timing of such things. It felt like home to me. "BRUV, where is the sign?" "oh, is that now? Ok, we do it anyway" /unrelated] 4) Happy that we got to see Yazan's yummy brother one more time. Sigh. Now, the rest. I see these last couple of episodes, BritBrit going in for that sympathy cut. Chile, we see you. We know you don't really care all that much, and we know you are fucking around: How in 45's America is Brit (questionable herself on the money sitch) going to petition to bring a Jordanian former fish market worker-now uber driver to this country? GTFO. She is done done done. 5) Finally, Kenny and Armando. I honestly hope nothing for the best for these two. They seem like 2 people in love trying to navigate their lives, and I wished there were more couples like them on these shows. They aren't perfect. Their families aren't perfect. For the first time in ages, they didn't feel like a scam and even if I was annoyed at one of them (KENNY), I was rooting for them and little Hannah to be able to maintain a lovely household.
  19. What was up with all the "Imma tell on you to my mommy" bullshit today?! Cheesestick. Ari. Y'all are adults. Act like it. I cannot tell you how relieved I was to see Summit and Jenny in masks instead of their USELESS lanyards. WTF. The drama with his parents next week is what my South Asian heart has been waiting for. I can already tell the auntie (Mother Summit) is well up to date on her Hindi soaps based on her dramatic reactions alone. Yassss. Auntie-ji is going to tell everyone she knows about how her son is breaking her heart, but **sad shrug** what can she do?! She's going to dine off of that forever! Sister in Law Summit is like "what the fucking fuck did I marry into?" Honey, at least you'll be the daughter in law that your MiL likes vs. the older son-napper. That said, I don't think Summit really wants to marry her. At all. And, like many of you, I'm sensing that she is starting to see it too. I have no explanation for Yazan. I really don't. The only reason this man is acting like this has to be his high libido with limited satisfaction. Homie has to be pussy-ized. No, you don't have to convert. No, we can wait. No, it's all good that you are drunk and having me pick you up outside of a bar full of men. With your tits out. In Jordan. While my family is swirling up shit about us that has my father threatening my life. What other explanation could there be?! I stand by the fact that he needs to run far and fast away from Brittany. B/c she so doesn't give a shit about what she is actually putting him through. To be fair, she doesn't yet really understand the extent either, but even when she does, she isn't going to change anything to make it better for him. Yazan will either need to leave the country (which he has no interest in and no means), or pick a more traditional bride. Maybe not his cousin, but there isn't one Jordanian honey that is going to work for him? Bruh, think, man. Deaven's awkward family is in Korea to make a lovely awkward wedding. Lawd. Her mama looks like such a Karen. Like, if I were to see cell footage of her yelling at a Native American in a gas station to "go back to her country" while not wearing a mask, I would be like "there she is". Ugh. I truly despise Ari. Her attitude and behavior drive me nuts. She has a lot of nerve and moral superiority for someone who rode some foreign dick, got pregnant, and then decided to live her "Adele Africa SNL skit" fantasy out. I hate that she just whines to her parents about Baby after starting obnoxious fights the day prior. Also? Baby? Useless. Bless him, but he's useless. I know his sisters come on way too strong, but I see their POV: They helped raised Baby and they've watched him make REALLY dumbass decisions on a regular basis. And this particular dumbass decision has the gall to give them nothing but attitude at every turn. FOH. IMO, I would be on her too. But, ladies, ya boy ain't no prize either. There are beautiful parts of Ethiopia. There are beautiful parts of Jordan. There are beautiful parts of Mexico that aren't exclusively for proposing. There are beautiful parts of India. Why is it we only ever see the parts we see? I get that big tourist sites usually cost money, but DAMN, let's not pretend these places are only pothole ridden shitholes. There is beauty in all these countries, and I wish we got to see more.
  20. You are totally right. Does anyone want to remind the crusty bitch how well that worked out for them the last time?! I don't know about Afghanis, but for South Asians, divorce isn't cute. It affects the woman's standing more (**rolls eyes about patriarchal bullshit**), but the dude doesn't get a way without some damage too.
  21. As a psychologist, I am GREATLY intrigued by this stupid show. Yes, there is a bit of play acting going on, but the worst stuff seems to be real. As a wife, I can't tell you how triggered I get. My MiL is a POS and both tried to undermine me and manipulate her son and I. We cut that cord quickly after his father died b/c of her high level of toxicity. This is an unusual move for people in my culture, but we are better off for it. As a daughter, my mom is tough. At 73, she ain't nobody to fuck with, and I'm her only child, so you can imagine the tiger mom/mama bear shit that happened throughout my life. Sweet baby Jesus, all of these people need a therapist, some boundaries set, and in some cases, a small slap to the back of the head. Imma start with the Afgani folks. As a South Asian woman, I can't tell you how incredibly on brand it was for this mean women to manipulate her son left, right, and center. From the "who do you love more?" to the tears to the call of being hurt at the restaurant. That shit is EXACTLY what happens in South Asian households too. We may be a patriarchy, but the elder moms and aunties rule the roost with their tiny iron, jewelry clad fists. I'll always be more scared of my mom and aunts than I will of my dad and my uncles. I'm 37, FFS. I can't wait to see the father next week b/c I'm sure he is going to stand meekly by and watch her be disgusting with Emily. Now that isn't something I'm used to b/c you never want to bring shame in a group setting like that. Emily needs to get out of there. I don't care that he's a "great guy", he would set you on fire if it meant his precious mom wouldn't get a papercut. Jason and Juliette and their baby are cute together. My husband pointed out an unfortunate resemblance to 90 Day Fiancé Coltie, so that sucks. His mom is so overbearing, and it is clear that nobody in that house, except maybe Jason's sister, tells her shit. They probably find it easier to roll over than to deal with her, but that shopkeeper lady at the tux place was me. Also, that jacket looked tacky and horrid, and did him no favors. I need Juliette to stand up for herself. I was surprised the dad was so attractive (in an older dude kinda way), but when we repeated stored his balls in her purse, I was out. My friends and I live chat each other while watching this and we all got a vibe from Matt. Like. I don't know if he is exclusively a straight man as he is presenting here. And look, as long as all parties are honest and good, that is none of my damn business. The robe thing and the sleepy time tea togetherness is just so cringey. And that "house" that is going to be a converted garage isn't going to be great. The model and his girl seem genuinely great, but the mom looks like a nightmare with her 90s fried hair and obsession with healthy eating.
  22. I keep forgetting Cheesestick and Melyza are on the show, TBH. These two have no connection AT ALL, he's a cheater, and she's a hypocrite. Man, Yazan, bro. Cut and run. No pussy hypnotizing is worth this. Brittany has zero consequences, meanwhile Yazan seems to have lost everything: Family. Job. Car. What pipe dream is he hanging his whole life on (literally, apparently) that she is going to convert and going to be a different person? Brittany is clearly in this for the fame and Insta likes; she doesn't seem to care about Yazan one bit. Totally unrelated: Brother Yazan is mad cute, though. I was so sad for Kenny and Armando. I hope they are able to get permission, but it really sucks that they have to jump thru hoops to simply get the piece of paper. It sucks that rights like this are so tenuous b/c they really shouldn't be. Kenny is a crier, y'all, so I expect him to weep at any point of the scenes they are in. Like many of you, I too cackled that Deaven is "jealous" of the women that Jihoon is whacking too. Oh, honey. Ain't nobody want your used, useless, teeny weeny, poor, feckless man. Man, Deaven just loves making this already useless sack look even worse in front of his people. She is always so very unhappy, and while some of that is on Jihoon, Deaven seems to have no idea how to find basic satisfaction in her life. Also, I like that a random person was taking care of the kids when they were in the park. Man, Drascilla is a little monster, and her mother can't seem to be bothered to teach her basic manners. So, Sumit is officially divorced b/c his pops literally begged every person he knows for some cash. Sigh. Still though, he is just really shady to me and while I think he loves Jenny in his own way, I think she is going to be in for a shock that he is going to find yet another obstacle to them being married. What a blow it will be! I was cackling at Sumit's response to his friend offering a job b/c you can see why Sumit gets himself into these dumb situations he finds himself in. Bruh. That was a good job that you probably aren't even really that qualified for and your bro is trying to help you out. And then there is Ari and Binyam. I'm really trying to remember that she's postpartum, hormonal, and a first time mom in a foreign country, but JESUS H, I dislike her so much for so many reasons. Her attitude is bullshit. All this bitching about the snip snip had nothing to do with the kid and everything to do with this bitch wanting to capitalize on it and how it makes her feel. "No, we aren't doing it to MY baby" "ok, I guess we are, but I refuse to go in" "Oh my god, he is crying, I'm going to rush in and disturb the ppl cutting my son" "I'll never forgive you for this, you monster" I think what did it for me is that once the baby was done, she was still totally into herself. Didn't even look at that baby until he was well out of the room. Ari isn't used to not having her way. Ari is not used to having to think of anyone but herself. Ari isn't used to it not being about just her. So, Ari is lashing out angrily every time Binyam has an opinion/thought/takes a breathe. Of course, she calls Avi "her baby" bc everything is only ever about her. IMO, she is using the baby as a prop for herself, she is going to dangle the baby like a carrot to get Binyam to do what she wants, and when she is done with her exotic story, she is going to take the kid back to America crying to mommy and all her friends that she tried so hard, but it is all Binyam's fault it didn't work. Binyam is a right idiot to get himself into this situation once again, but Ari is just the worst. Maybe I'm sensitive b/c of things that happen here in America, but I get a bit twitchy when a white woman is saying to a black man "don't you be mean to me" "don't you start yelling at me" when I'm watching him have a controlled reaction. I don't think she means to gaslight, and he could be a raving monster behind closed doors (I doubt) it, but it chaps my ass.
  23. Here is the thing: I should feel bad for Ari. Major surgery with the c section. A first time mom. In a foreign country. But, she's such a useless, entitled, bitch that I can't be bothered. She annoys me every time she opens her whiny mouth. If Ari cared about a car seat, she should have brought one. We are a bit more industrialized, but as a little girl in Trinidad, there were no car seats; we rode dirty the hell everywhere. That's how it worked, and it wouldn't have occurred to anyone to do otherwise in the 80s (and early 90s , I understand). Honestly, I think Bini purposefully doesn't share the traditions partially b/c he doesn't care about her and partially because he is trying to avoid her flipping out more than once. LOL. Having spent time in Kenya and Nigeria on this show, it is interesting to be in Ethiopia and understand the continual cultural reinforcement of patriarchal behavior. I do find it fascinating that with all that the women seem to be the most domineering in the men's lives. I dislike Ari, but Bini's views on everything child/mother related are just gross...with respect...what the fuck do you know about anything? I do feel a little bad for him b/c whether he knows it or not, I believe they are on a ticking clock to when Ari takes that kid and goes back to the States. I don't know when, but it def going to happen. Hot take: I think Sumeet deserves to get dragged by the ex wife. This man married her under false pretenses, probably treated her like a burden, and then left her while they were still married for a white dinosaur. I'd make it difficult for him too b/c a divorcee in India, while more common than before, still holds a stigma. You aren't an innocent victim, Sumeet. FOH with that...take some responsibility. If Jenny and Sumeet could never talk about their sex life again, I would appreciate it. My husband and I are usually having dinner during the first part of the show, and my tummy can't take it. Ew. I can't with Deaven. Between "take your terrible wife to work day" and her bitchy face at the wedding venue, I hate seeing her on the screen. She's terrible. Most likely, that venue is what a lower middle/middle class family can afford and is quite cute. Her turning up her face and bitching about customs that she had never shared before is so ridiculous. Maybe talk to Jihoon before meeting with the venue and the people? Like Ari, realize that you aren't in America and maybe the expectations you have are outside of their cultural scope. Also? Who is paying? B/c I don't think it's Deaven. What makes her think she deserves a damn thing? She has made choices in her life and has 2 kids by 2 useless mfers, so no one owes her anything not matter what her shrill, entitled mother thinks. Yazan, my dude? You need to run away. Brittany is not worth the absolute detriment that she is bringing into your life. She will never understand the high key cultural pressure you are under b/c she has no interest and it doesn't affect her at all. Go back to your family, and I wish you luck. Kenny and Armando need to talk thru the parenting stuff a bit more to set up guidelines. It was their first day together, so I'm not mad about the ribbons and bows Hannah wanted. That said, this can't be an everyday thing. How does Kenny work into this dynamic between a father and his daughter who have had a bit of significant loss? Imma need Kenny to learn some Spanish. As someone who also lives in the I4 corridor, I don't know how you haven't picked up a good amount of Spanish just living here.
  24. Yessssss. My friend that is obsessed with the show called me and made me switch channels. It was exciting. Thanks, bruv! I appreciate it. I choose to post almost always right after I have viewed it, so my irritation and ire is at max. LOL. Another thought about these ppl in general, but def Deaven/Jihoon rn - I got married at the courthouse (and in a mosque b/c my mom wanted it and I needed her to chill out...LOL). A decade+ later, we did a vacation to Vegas where we did a vow renewal. All together, my wedding(s) cost a grand total of $600 (not including his ring and mine...which are both modest). So, you'll excuse me when I don't understand all this gd kerfuffle over needing NEEDING to have a big giant blowout wedding when you def can't afford it. Deaven is a self entitled person, who never takes any responsibility for how her actions may have caused her misfortunes. It is clear she is also raising her daughter in a similar manner. Ugh. Re: Ari's visitors at the hospital - I will never understand people visiting women who have had babies right the hell away. Unless they want me there, I'll wait until my friend/family is feeling like accepting visitors. Let the new family bond. Let mom heal, ffs!! Whether a vaginal or c section delivery, her body and emotions have been through it. Dang. I will come to the hospital or at home with useful gifts or food and offers of doing laundry or the dishes or watching the kid if someone wants a nap. The baby isn't about me...it's about the family having the baby.
  25. Personally, this was the right-ish length for a season (probably would have cut 1 more episode to tighten their shit up). I can't with Georgi's hair. Him draping that greasy pin straight mess across this shoulders in his TH segments with Florian cracked me up. So. Let me understand. 1) Georgi is married. 2) Georgi has random chicks he used to hang with comment on his posts with some boring fire emojis. 3) Darcey gets REALLY fucking drunk b/c that's what she does to cope/for fun. 4) Darcey loses her shit and accuses Georgi of FATHERING a child with the fire emojis lady for no apparent reason. 5) Married Georgi proposes to Darcey, which makes that totally meaningless b/c they can't actually get married. Did I get it? My good God. The best part was the Jessie promise ring and the Tom house key flashbacks. The comedy!! Stacey has let go of Sloth screwing that random Shanti woman. They can lie all they want, but he did more than just kiss her. I guess she officially married, so **shrug**?
