I enjoyed him too, plus (bonus!) he bears a resemblance to David Tennant, IMO. Something in his facial features. I was very happy he won.

"...And then there's the kidnappings." I was finding Murray really funny in this one. I just have to say, the actress is becoming stunningly beautiful.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Sean ran the "war" category and then there was… silence. As in, no applause. Don't we do that anymore?

Happy Back to the Future Day, everyone! Where's my hoverboard? No... scratch that... where's my flying car?

Quotable Quotes: Lines from TV You've Made Your Own

Yes, I third that. I don't mind his intensity or his volume or his smile, but the interruption is just obnoxious. Anyone who watches J! knows that Alex will occasionally have something to add when he's ruling, so Matt can't claim ignorance. If he did it only once or twice, we could chalk it up to nerves or excitement. But he's doing it all game long, and it's starting to piss me off. I'm surprised he hasn't been told to stop. This aint The Matt Show, dude. When none of the players knew Orphan Black, they were all dead to me.

I was happy he won, though, over the woman in the middle who continually took a decade to pick the next clue. I admit I'm an impatient person, but tell me I wasn't the only one who found those pregnant pauses painful…?

Wasn't her personal anecdote basically, "I like coffee?" Admittedly I wasn't paying full attention, but… seriously, come up with something better. Anything better.

The Bob Newhart Show - General Discussion
rubaco replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Bob Newhart Show
Thanks for that link, Lola16. I love it, Bob Newhart hanging with Jack White. I also did not know he was on Twitter, so I'm off to check out his tweets. Happy b-day to Bob! -
I felt sorry for today's contestants, who didn't have the benefit of Dubbed Alex like we did. Lord, he sounded terrible before they swapped out the audio. I think they need to have a backup host for situations like that. It must've been a hard game to play.

So Matthew Morrison is destined to be our next Jeopardy host, sounds like. But only if he grows a moustache. I missed tonight's show, was the birthday mentioned?
-
The only part of today's episode I caught was FJ, and I couldn't believe how easy it was. And then two of them missed it! WTH? That's not before anyone's time.

I was all prepared for that to be a TS and then she knew it, and I was all, Yay for you, knowing that sorta obscure, old show! Oh, and yeah... Ken Howard, he had charisma to burn. Like so many of you, I felt really bad for her. It would be nice if she reads this forum and knows how many people empathize and were pulling for her. Might ease the pain of the loss.

Abstract, I hope there's room on the show for both you and Joe the good-looking firefighter. Because... hello? Good-looking firefighter! Did you win the mock game? Are you allowed to say?
-
I would say we dodged a bullet. One of the challengers, had he won, would have turned me off watching for a while. Ugh. The champ remains champ.

OK, clearly I missed one of the funnier wrong responses in recent memory when I missed Friday's episode. Could somebody recap the "screw" incident for those of us who didn't get to watch? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the heads-up. I did vote for the bear, but that was a tough choice.

It's not cool to clap for yourself after you correctly answer a DD. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone do that before.
-
Ha, good guess, M. Darcy! That was an entertaining game, I thought. Did Alex explain his failing voice? I didn't catch the ep from the beginning.

I'm guessing it was Eric Bauza, who does the voice on the Netflix series. I knew there would be complaints here about how much time he ate up, but I'm a sucker for Puss, so I enjoyed the category.

That's a reference to his first game -- you had to answer in Roman numerals in one of the categories. It totally seemed to me that Alex J. was about to add more to his reply when Alex T. cut in to tell him he was right. It was one of the things that annoyed me during that game. Alex J. has gotten more tolerable since, for me anyway, but that first game was very hard to watch.
