  1. In the announcement video, Michelle looked like she wanted to eat Jim Bob's head when he interrupted just as she was about to speak. She was like 'STFU, Jim Bob, I want to talk!" bahahaha!
  2. Too funny! Right before I scrolled and saw your post, when I read the post with "Monika" all I could think was "that 'i' should really be a 'y'" and then boom! Your post! LOL
  3. I'm of the mind that there will definitely be a series of VSEs in the future or some sort of spinoff. Sometime in 2016, I bet!
  4. I can't get the words "delicious cumin" out of my head. It's haunting me. Every time I cook, I hear it. Actually, any time I walk into my kitchen, I hear "delicious cumin". I have to find a way to work that into an everyday conversation.
  5. Everytime I come back to this thread and see the "So Absentee" title, I crack up!
  6. I was thinking the same thing--that it odd that Brandon was supposedly so good at being a reporter, which you can't be unless you are interested in delving into something and finding stories. How could he be characterized in this episode as only being interested in the face value of things?
  7. I can't believe Jim was being such a dick--all she asked for was five minutes of conversation, and he couldn't be bothered. Way to cut off your nose, dude. If you had given her a few minutes, she would have had sex with you--WIN WIN. Instead, you had to be a big baby and go stomping away because you didn't get what you wanted the moment you wanted it. I wonder where Brandon got his petulance from...
  8. You guys need to add a "Shut The Fuck Up, Brenda" segment to the podcast, highlighting any of the many moments in an episode where one feels inclined to tell her to STFU. There were many in this particular episode.
  9. Hell, I was 18--what was my excuse?! I guess Brandon was just sooooo dreamy, I couldn't see what a douche nozzle he really was.
  10. Did you all catch when Cindy was telling Jim that Brandon was upstairs studying with Ohhhhndrea that Jim gave her a little "that's my boy" look. That guy is way too eager to assume Brandon's pickle is getting tickled. ETA: That jacket that Dylan is wearing with his jean overalls (joveralls?) reminds me of the JCrew barn jacket which was so popular back then. Kind of like this one, though the pocket placement is different. http://s8.thisnext.com/media/largest_dimension/0DE12D04.jpg
  11. I am not a crackpot, but I swear to god that Derick looks more like Jill now since he got braces.
  12. Those pants looked suspiciously like Skidz or Jamz. Good times, those pants.
  13. James' smack down of King of Sanctimonious Mountain, Brandon Walsh, was divine. As I rewatch this show, I do not remember it being so ham-fisted when it originally aired. It's almost causing me physical pain to watch these episodes, but I shall power through it.
  14. I think this tweet is apropos! https://twitter.com/JennyJohnsonHi5/status/614471778140733440 LOL!
  15. I buy the clementine flavor, or blood orange. SO good and refreshing. The Duggars must be having a rage fit and screaming into pillows with today's decision.
  16. Happy Anniversary! My 17th is coming up. DH and I haven't been on a date in a long time, but I think we are doing alright, too! ;)
  17. Heavy eye roll on the "we still do". Ugh, whatever. You've been married one year. Let's talk when it's year 20. That's an accomplishment.
  18. I watch the show while I'm working, so I'm mostly listening. Sounds like I missed some important nonverbals! I did see the scene where Emily said something about the apples, and Richard said he always liked them and the look on her face. I felt for her there.
  19. I'm finally caught up to where I began watching (mid season 4) months ago, so I've seen all the lead up to Rory sleeping with Dean. The one thing I'm finding curious is the lead up to the split with Emily and Richard. It seems to come out of nowhere. I saw the episode where Emily found out that Richard was having lunch with his old flame, but it seems like aside from a passing snide comment after that episode, not much happens between Emily and Richard that would lead you to believe they were separated. The episode where Lorelai figures out that Emily is staying at a hotel is just plain weird, because Emily and Richards behavior doesn't make any sense--all the stuff with Jason just blew up and E&R seemed to be ok...and then this weird FND where Emily shows up and Richard is befuddled because the girls show up early...is just so wacky and seems out of character for Emily especially. Maybe I'm dense? Maybe I missed some important detail?
  20. Milo is on The Talk right now. I was flipping channels and just happened to catch him. He's nice to look at.
  21. You guys are hilariously witty. I love all these spin off ideas!
  22. It's really difficult to change your SSN. I looked into it many years ago after my identity was stolen by a family member.
  23. So, thanks to EHG, I tuned into the Again with This podcast about 90210, where I learned that season 1 of 90210 was available on Amazon Prime. (made my day!) So of course I diverted my GG watching time to reliving the glory of the pilot of 90210 today. Watching Andrea in action, I had the realization that her character could very well have been the template for Paris Geller. They have similarities, although Paris is much more abrasive and crazed at times. I wonder if the Andrea character served as a template for Paris?
  24. This podcast and rewatching these episodes is making my summer.
