  1. Finally got caught up with this show - missed the last three episodes. What a bat-shit crazy finale. Fish Mooney figuring out she can control people - her face and delight at driving the bus and causing so much destruction. Fake!Jim was a hoot - I bet Ben McKenzie was having a blast playing it, but yes Harvey shouldn't copped onto it sooner. Babs being babs and figuring it out. Awesome. Selina being the Queen and basically taking care of herself. Awesome (though why the straight iron all of a sudden?) Hugo Strange being indestructable. Mysterious Mask lady - I swear to god, I kept thinking masked lady was Bruce's mother, who was desperate to revive her dead husband. No idea why. Did I mention Fake!Bruce!! Whoa... This show is seriously crazy. And I'm thoroughly loving it.
  2. Because, you know, I wish I were taller.... GW is listed as 6'2". Tallest President was Lincoln of course, at 6'4" tall (whoa...) Ian Kahn - the actor who plays Washington -is 6'1" tall - so basically same height. But just as you said - the other people around him make Kahn look shorter. Today, people are taller than from 200+ years ago. Back then, GW was an anomaly. Today, he (and Kahn) are more the norm. Except when I look at a list of all the Presidents - 18 prez's broke 6 ft, so there you go! I thought that too - that Ben was starting to make some connections and have some suspicions of Arnold's behaviour. Ben honestly complimenting Benedict on his house/the party, and the response he received from B.A., it was obviously completely out of character and just plain strange.
  3. I agree. And he was so adorably sweet and chivalrous (? is that the word ) to Peggy. aka My Shallow Comment of the Episode: *sigh, Ben* Me too. He may be crazy, but at least I don't want to shoot him (as weird as that sounds). Richard and RR, on the other hand. I agree too - love how they are including her in the spy ring.
  4. Hey Everyone, I'll leave this thread here for now, since many or us haven't seen the episode yet, regardless of country. I've put spoiler tags on the thread to warn people, but until June 6th, could you all spoiler tag what happened anyway (just as you all did). Extra insurance, until June 6th. Big time thanks!
  5. Alright show...someone really, really needs to beat the crap out of Rodgers. Please? Sick of him, like I am sick of Woodhull Sr. being an ass. Can someone please, please try to knock the gun out of his hands, fight back, something. Please, pour water on his pistol - it's not a revolver - it won't fire if the powder is wet! Townsend Jr. did well - rightfully justified in being angry but still protects the ring. And have to side with TJ - knowing that his barn was burned by his "friends"..yeah... And knowing Caleb and co killed all of those animals in the barn..yeah, Caleb - got zero respect for you now. None. Zero. Nada. Zip. Simcoe needs to get over his vengence obssesion - it's just going to get him hurt and into a more serious mess... I have to admit, the sulking of Benedict, Peggy and John Andre is getting tiresome. Yes, you were scorned in love - yadda yadda. This is the 18th century and most were bound by society rules. None of them could have married for love, if it didn't meet with "societial" expectations. And I get Arnold being angry over everything, but I wish he was a bit more saavy in his responses. The one thing that did ring true for me, is Washington wavering between his loyalites to B. Arnold, and the fact that the members of Congress could sway the fate of the future US. Not fun.
  6. Exactly. I wonder how long it will take for him to think twice about being on the side of the British, now that he's being "inconvenienced" by Simcoe and company. He's that type of person - as long as he benefits from the relationship, then who cares. The moment people like this don't get what they want, it's when they join the other side. And I find it creepy that he is literally blackmailing Mary and Abe, just to take the kid and brainwash him into a "loyal" supporter like Grandpa. Wonder how long that will last for, eh Richard? Good episode. Anna meeting Washington, and wanting to help, but cannot because "woman'" was so sad and so typical...but loved seeing her in the camp contributing alongside Ben and Caleb. Don't understand why Abe couldn't break through the door to the cellar - the wood looked half rotten anyway and there are huge gaps between the slats - he couldn've kicked his way out. I'm liking Mary more and more as the season progresses...
  7. People...remember to respect other's opinions, however different they may be, and be CIVIL!! Please do not attack or claim someone is "moderating" someone else just because you don't agree with them. That's my job, to do the moderating, as in let's moderate this conversation so it stays civil, respectful and doesn't lead to personal attacks. Thanks.

Dwane Casey fined $25K for ripping officials after Game 3 win. Can you blame the guy?
  10. No I am not, actually. I'm taking the stuff I've read about, or remember reading about and piecing together the information. I have no insider knowledge - I'm just trying to piece together the pieces and the puzzle pieces match pretty well together. I've read stuff SH from day 1, so hindsight being 20/20, by looking back at those things, it's like finding out who a blind item is about, rereading the blind and wondering why you didn't think it was Actor X in the first place!! Speaking of Blinds. Bonker's Leading Leading Blind Item. (April 2015) Bonkers was the term always used when describing Sleepy Hollow in the early days. That particular word always. Also, AM was the only character killed off that the networks changed their minds to not do it midseason, but waited till the end. FOX is put in there - not a comedy right...but the FOX clue is right there. Also, popular and modestly rated applies to SH. The first blind was April 2015. The second "situation has worsened" was June 2015, right as SH was filming. We also know NB wanted out end of season 2, and these blinds occurred early season 3. __________________________________________________ - Eric H has said over and over that a doctor's note was provided by actor, and later in other tweets alluded to mental health issues. This is a very specific thing to say. Actors have "exhaustion" all of the time, but you never hear about a doctor's note. Sleepy Hollow Filming Shut Down. This was when I suspect the Dr's note appeared so they shut down production so she could "recover". Eric H always says health. Not exhaustion, which is the usual word used for actors - no, it's always health. She even addresses her health too. Season 2 of SH finished filming mid-December 2014. One of the writers said at one point that it took about 2 weeks to film an episode. Backtrack those weeks, and you get pretty close to the time of filming Pittura Infamante - aka the episode that everyone complained about was sidelining Abbie. But if you know the above, you might also think that maybe, the reason she didn't appear in the episode that much, was because she "called in sick", they could only wait so long for her to get better, and had to make changes and film something at least, or lost a lot of money. So was NB sidelined? Or did she not appear in certain episodes in the first place, because she wanted out and was "sick." Last year, knowing what I knew, I would have picked option #1. Knowing what I know now? Definately Option #2. The above is not the only reason I think it's NB - lots more out there. This is a small piece. If NB is the cause of all of the problems on SH by wanting to leave, why can she not be held accountable for that, even partially? _________________________________

Yeah baby!! King James isn't all that, is he?!? We can still kick your butts, as we should! I LOVE this. CC swept the first two parts of the series, 4-0. I don't think they understand at this point, what losing was?!? Can I say - Biyombo is the man! But when you have an amazing Biyombo, plus DeRozan and Lowry with a total of 67 points!! Well, you cannot get any better!

I'm obviously geared towards the Raptors also, but I'm sorry, some of this so-called "officiating"?? The fans were chanting "bullshit" for a reason. Even that ball posession in the first half, it went off Lowry's fingers, then tipped off the Cleveland guy, and they didn't bother to review it, and gave is to the Cavs. Please. Clearly the ball hit the tip of the CC guy's fingers. Hey James - who you paying off??
  13. ^^ I love historical clarifications! Sweet. Thanks, @Kabota!
  14. I honestly think Daniel Craig is the best Bond in the franchise. Hands done. The sexism of the earlier ones (Connery slapping around woman) make that decision much much easier. There is also some camp at times that does not help the movies. So I will miss him immensely, but totally understand. He said before Skyfall that the physical demands of Bond were really hard on him, at his age. Hiddleston hell yes - I could totally see it, after watching The Night Manager. Idris Elba too, hell yeah. But I will miss Craig's conflicted, emotional, broken Bond big time. He was brilliant in the role. And remember, so many people were so upset when Craig was cast, since Fleming's Bond was dark haired, dark-eyed and Craig was blue/blond-haired. Whoever is cast, may their be that similar controversy, because maybe we will once again end up with another brilliant Bond!

Man, I hope so. They (the Raps) started out well, then got...I don't know, lazy? Complacent? Were understandably tired because of going to Game 7 2X? Don't disappoint me, Toronto? We are more than an "Other" in a poll!!! And the fans are awesome!!
  16. To "spice up this thread" anyone have a good idea for a funny/amusing/creative/witty rename of this thread? Kelly Ripa - "Your Awesome Idea...."
  17. That is a very fascinating tool and article/explanation, @ChristmasJones. Thanks for sharing. Lots of good information in there!!! Thanks!
  18. Here here. Because damn boy....*swoon* and because I am shallow, all bed scenes with Ben = Excellent. I really hope Hewett is not gone permanently - it's nice to have a decent person as a Red Coat. He's doing his job yet is patriotic to his country. Anna "dumping" him was so sad. Poor Anna too, since her plan to "save" Abe backfired. Still don't like Woodhull Sr. At all at this point. Abe isn't much better, but at least he isn't betraying his friends. Just want to slap Senior. Excellent comment. To add, it also highlighted how in this tension-filled time, one could not trust their neighbour at all and had to "pretend" at all costs, else be considered a traitor. One hopes they are on your side, but you can never be sure. Andre is kinda sad with his 'Peggy" obsession. From what I've read, I just don't get Peggy's continuing interest in B. Arnold. It's one thing to initially pretend to be interested for spying purposes, but at this point, it's gone a bit far. Anna shut Hewett down, yet Peggy seems to continue on the ruse, except she seems totally "not into him." Yet she writes a letter saying she will get married (last episode). So the missing part to me is "Does she really love Benedict now?", or "Is it still a ruse/spygames for Andre, the man she truly loves?" The writers/actress have made it hard to tell lately, though Ksenia is great in the role. To be honest, I really enjoyed this episode. A Lot. Last weeks was a big slow and dull, but this week's episode was very entertaining for some reason, that doesn't just include Bed-Bound Ben...(though it's quite a factor).
  19. I'm sure everyone noticed, but if you didn't, the forum's been renamed from Live with Kelly and Michael to just Live with Kelly, until her co-host is chosen, which could take months. Just FYI.
  20. Full season!! Yes! Thrilled to have 22 weeks of Tom Ellis on my screen!!
