With my limited research regular brown sugar is a grey area, I haven't found a absolute definitive answer since it is known to be sugar with molasses added back in.

Janelle describes it pretty clear in their book and she has touched lightly on camera. She "saw Kody walk in the room and it felt like she remembered something that she had forgotten..." However, she met Meri when she was together with Meri's brother, and Meri was married to Kody while Janelle was married to her brother. So this "remembering" most likely happened while Janelle was married. She was LDS at the time and she pretty much had the hots for Kody. But it was quite a few years before her revelations to convert were simply the way she could get Kody, through polygamy.

My Grandmother, a humble church secretary and bookkeeper preached some of the things these modern scientists state today, way back in the 70's. With her Prevention magazine in her hand she told me long ago that good nutrition was as simple as eat a varied diet, eat colorful foods in their natural season and always in moderation. I have lived in several areas with heavy Amish and Mennonite populations. Mennonites range from the highly conservative secs who essentially do not have interaction with the English world to groups who drive cars and are only distinguishable from the English with conservative dress.

I suspect it has more to do with what Tony likes. She always did her hair in updos (or whatever they are called) and Tony put his foot down about her hair being down because HE liked it for the wedding. Ever since it seems like she is growing her hair long and it is more often down than up. I see Mykelti as having a matched set of luggage filled with self and daddy issues and Tony is clear with his opinions and Mykelti seems to do what Tony wants. Its a shame, she seemed to once have direction and opinions of her own.

Well...we can sympathize with April since they were married quite awhile before he "sprung" polygamy on her. Second wifey was set up as the new sumthin sumthin as well as "ooo, of course I'll agree to polygamy". Whamo, knock down the first wife and set up the whole scenario for failure. I think with Meri she was always front and center with Janelle and Christine to remind Kody of the "fair and equal" no matter how many kids etc. Robyn comes along and happens to be quite gifted in reading the relationships of Kody and all three established wives and with their long courtship she was a master at figuring out how to communicate with Kody by simply watching where he failed with the other wives. voila. I believe it was Christine who said on the show "we all communicate so much better with Robyn in the family. She makes us talk about things". Well....duh!! Of course she does, so she can direct every little situation her way...but...but "her" way is always seeing the "family" as a whole. Damn...she is good at being that "Kody whisperer"

very true. AND once those daughters leave the nest, I think Christine will once again put a death grip on poor little Truely. Empty nest may hit Christine hardest of all.

Do you ever think that Christine is having the coveted "sister wives experience" through her daughters? I mean they always try to sell us on this beautiful experience that the wives have, yet we have never seen it, but then Meri is off having this sisterhood with her LulaNo ladies, Janelle has an existential experience every time she enters a produce section (but more often in the freezer section) of her local market and then Robyn...well. She gets the man....

I remember when he tried to make his speech to the whole family and they barely listened to him say that he was expecting that they treat him "...like a college student" I think he was the smartest of the bunch who knew he had to break to get a break. If he stayed at home he would never get any work done and he knew it.

I think it's more along the line if you read the logo as written. ""Mariah Brown eats community yoga"" that makes you cringe and remember that proof editors are people too!!

I was wondering...but it doesn't look like it. I also wonder if Meri posted that photo BECAUSE of the online speculation about Robyn.

Mariah's attitude makes me think that her opinion is "if you aren't fully queer (like her...) then you can NEVER EVER truly understand being fully queer and so you can NOT qualify as an icon" ...or something. It's a lot like the exact shtick that Kody and the wives repeat ad nauseam to us. Lowly Monogamists just can't understand!! She has simply taken a lifetime of Mormon conditioning and changed a few words and now she is a missionary for queers instead of the church. Her approach and posts remind me of "testimony" that they cling to as a way of validating their belief systems.

I think Janelle's best "fit" in the world was in the Lehi house in Utah. She could just be an office drone, fill out papers, shuffle them around, put them in place, drink water from the cooler, lunch exactly at noon, put more papers in the correct place and be done for the day. Go home. Kids are cared for, paycheck covers as much as possible, someone else puts dinner on the table. Sleep, repeat. She truly functions in this mundane atmosphere of never making a decision past peanut butter fritos or just chips to snack on. No emotions needed, just keep the cogs moving. Repeat. That is her personality through and through. An online "coach" needs to have some pep in their step and a strong working knowledge of the subject...NOT just google on the smart phone. I have always thought that Kody has looked at the ratings and said how the general public was supportive of Janelle when she was shown to be actively working on health/weight and so he pushed for her to come up with whatever Strive is supposed to be.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for Christine's house to sell. For me...none of it is appealing in any way(I'm a cottage girl). However, moving past that, if that kind of house was my thing and I will admit that I do like the covered patio porch in the back with the ceiling fans at her house. All I would need (even past the very beat up kitchen crapcabnets and wiggly sink) is the grand The Kody Brown Family handprint slab to make me stop and walk right out. WHY on earth did they not excavate that concrete and pull it up. Break it up as rubble or just put it on a flatbed and move it somewhere to keep. WHO in their right mind would pay more that $500,000 for a house with THAT in the back yard!?

Yea...Gaslighting seems to be the Brown mantra. It was in the very beginning when Meri and Janelle both said that they felt "there was someone else coming" gee..."it's kinda boring with just us" in their couch sessions. With Christine yelling over the top of them that she is JUST FINE with things as they are. Yet years later Janelle and her semi subtle eye rolling about "not knowing" Robyn was coming along. Gee. Which one was it!? They need to keep their own little book of history so they can get it right when they make these blanket statements. Keep playing your little flute of "polygamy isn't abusive and should be legal" because your words are empty and your actions show otherwise.
