  1. Half way through. I agree with Doug. Izzie is far too much drama. I think I’m not supposed to agree with Doug though? I’m supposed to like Izzie? ooh update. Izzie pretends to be big person and breaks up with Casey but then proceeds to tell what Doug said to her this kind of undercutting the breakup. Pick a lane Izzie. Also. If I unnecessarily chopped through a nice wooden door with an axe my parents would kick my ass! Doors aren’t cheap and now they have to replace it. She should have been in so much trouble and no half hearted “no Casey stop.” Either! Jeez that was dumb.
  2. This episode was ok. Definitely filler and fun for the cast. Actress who plays Chloe is still the weakest link on the show which is part of the reason I stopped watching for a while when I realized the “Deckerstar” romance was going to be the focus. Oh well I’ll try to enjoy the rest of it. Lord though I can listen to Tom read a phone book. That voice…..
  3. I was thinking the exact same thing! At this point they have to know they are dead so what are they doing? Felt like the show just wanted some cool fights in that scene and you’d think the raining debris and chaos would be enough.
  4. I FINALLY watched the finale and did Darren Star really said she ends up with neither guy? I mean I guess technically she’s not WITH Josh but that final scene really heavily implies there might be something there. And can I say yay?!! As someone who maybe way over-identified with this show I’m so glad to see the non typical route of the younger man continuing to be invested in and see the value of the older woman especially when as much progress as there has been youth is still key and women in their 40s seen as unf#$kable. ( I also maybe a little raw as I spent yesterday TRYING to shop for back to office clothes and it made me feel old. yikes what is UP with the clothes right now?!) Anyway. As someone who generally picks the losing side of a triangle (Noel, Chloe, Stefan and lord help me Dawson back in the day although I wonder if I rewatched now....) I feel for the Charles team. I really was on his side at first until I realized some of the reasons I picked him for her was the old “age appropriate” “it will never work long term” stuff that hinged mostly on Josh’s age and profession. Also Charles is quite attractive. :) Then I saw her actually with Charles and ...she just seemed less herself with him. So In summary I didnt enjoy this season. Missed Diana. Not enough Josh. Hated the “evil other woman trope” and Maggie deserves better. Liza and Charles was a waste of time storyline. Glad there is no Kelsey spin off and I wish the cast all the best! Ooh that sounds so negative but this used to be television without pity so there ya go!
  5. Exactly. I’m also very confused. If there is a sacred timeline and there are NOT multiverses then how do you end up with an ADULT LADY Loki? A blue Loki or Loki with different hair color who basically looks like our Loki I get but a full on different Loki if there isn’t an alternate universe makes no sense to me. I’m going to have to watch a YouTube video that explains this or something aren’t I?
  6. I’ll admit I’ve skipped a few seasons because I was never a fan of the Lucifer/Chloe romance and gave up when I realized that’s the direction they were going and I’ve only watched the last two episodes but I’m confused. What happens when an Angel dies? They just cease to exist? No silver city? Actually skipping a few seasons made a lot of this really confusing.
  7. So I’ve been too bored to watch the last fe episodes but based on what I’ve been reading this season the triangle is well and truly over and we are just waiting for her to end up back with Charles? Damn. I was hoping they might surprise me. I’d say there is more to the show but...really there isn’t. All the story lines are incredibly disappointing and I miss Diana.
  8. No but it has Bradley Whitford and that’s pretty awesome. I have a fondness for Firewalker myself.
  9. I do like the actress although I can’t remember why or what I’ve seen her in. I think if they wanted Sophie to be his grand love story they dropped the ball a bit. They should have included her more in the flashbacks. Had her interact with Kate and Randall in the past as well and made US really like her so we’d always be wishing those two kids could have worked it out or so we’d miss Sophie. So we’d be excited when she pops up in present day. I think they maybe thought they were trying to do that but she’s often just randomly there in the past and doesn’t have much of anything to say. Not that I’m feeling the Madison story either. It had potential but we didn’t really get to see them falling in love either and it feels super rushed. I’m still shocked to this day that Kevin is now my favorite Pearson kid though. Never saw that coming.
  10. I’m not saying I don’t love it..because I do...but wow the whole witch /witch hunter thing is very tropey to the point of fanfic or a romance novel. Oh look we hate each other but are secretly intrigued by each other, now we are the only survivors of a shipwreck and we happen across the well decked out place with furs and a bed and we must get naked and huddle to get warm but end up cuddling in our sleep....but damn if I don’t fall for all of it anyway. They’ve got me interested. Very curious how and when they wrap into the rest of the story eventually. And good lord Mal and Alina just KISS already..come on this is ridiculous. Wait. Is Jesper Gresha? That shooting is a bit too good. And the general may be evil but he’s hot.
  11. She was honest with Charles. She said she wanted to be in a committed relationship with him but didn’t want to get married. She wanted to stay and he’s the one that walked away because he didn’t get exactly what he wanted when he wanted. Why didn’t he try to understand where SHE was coming from. Talk a bit more, understand more whys she sees marriage the way she does and give HER time. He knows how rough her divorce was. He’s not even divorced yet what’s the big hurry. Ive known plenty of people not in their 20s who don’t think marriage is for them or maybe don’t want a second marriage. I’ve also known many (my aunt) who jumps from one marriage to the next. Marriage does not necessarily mean happy. Also. What do you mean by practical reason and what does not living forever have to do with it? I’m genuinely confused on that comment and curious what that means. He seemed like a nice guy until he got super excited about Liza not wanting to get married and took that as an opening to skip past any of the “dating” stuff and straight to sex which is what I took the “we can skip dinner” wink wink to mean. And his complaint that women were upset he didn’t want to get married but I took that as I’m newly divorced and I want to sleep around and not have a relationship and yay you seem dtf. I’ve been on a date with that guy. Many of that guy. But hey good to see you here electricBoogaloo I stopped watching GH so long ago I can’t even keep up in the thread anymore because I don’t know who you all are talking about.
  12. Ugh they are taking Josh out of the running and going full Charles aren’t they? I was just texting with a friend how we’d love to see a DIFFERENT ending for a change. Let the 45 yo woman end up unmarried and happy with a 32 year old tattoo artist instead of engaged to the age appropriate businessman for a change. (I am not projecting because I’m a 45 yo woman with a crush on a 31 year old physical therapist. I’m not. Ok I may be...but the ending they seem to be pointing towards is so BORING.) I also miss Diana. Also how does Liza meet hot older men everywhere she goes? I know it’s a TV show. Fine. Fine. And what the HELL did the makeup people do to Janeane Garafalo? Too dark makeup and they left a white ring around her mouth.
  13. The wedding night was hot until he skipped all the foreplay and went straight for the main event and yet they showed her enjoying it anyway. Did a man write that scene? I mean come ON. It was her first time it takes a bit longer to get ready if you know what I mean and I think you do.
  14. Right?! For goodness sake it’s my grandpa’s name and every time they say it I pause...and it’s the name of a winery in Napa! Loved my grandpa Bill. Just had to say it cuz he was the absolute best. 😊
  15. I agree with all of this. I also loved Thrawn as a teenager. Those books are what I was hoping the sequels would be like but oh well that ship has passed and....sunk. I’m not used to a thread that pulls so heavily from material beyond the episode while barely discussing the episode so this has been very hard to follow. I loved the visuals of Ahsoka disappearing into the fog and fully using the force. It was pretty amazing and she looked great so I’d be up for more of her. Love me some Katee/Starbuck so I was hoping to love Bo-Katan but she hasn’t grown on me yet. Can’t believe I’m going to have to do research to figure out who Ezra is. I’m just not a big fan of adult cartoons which is what I assumed Clone wars was. Or I guess I’ll call my nephew and drive him crazy with questions. he’s seen it all and is already mad that I can’t catch all the “Easter eggs”. 🙂
  16. Yes and something I’ve noticed in the “previously On” and the ads they’ve been playing to death is they KEEP showing Kevin telling Randall his worst day was the day they brought him home and NEVER show Randall telling Kevin that His father died ashamed of him. Thus making Randall look like the victim when they both said some heinous shit And Randall is the one who fought dirty first. Plus Kevin actually had a look on his face after he said it like he knew it was wrong And went too far but I don’t recall the same from Randall. I think Randall fatigue is really fueling a lot of this Discussion. I mean look how defensive they all got when Randall Figured out the medicine thing. It’s like they were al flinching and ready to be verbally slapped. On that note I also have Kate fatigue and I was just WAITING For her to go all pissy and self involved when Kevin told her about the babies so that was a shock. Maybe they realized she was getting pretty damn annoying last year too. Cannot believe Kevin became my favorite last year and I never would have seen that coming when I started the show.
  17. Yeah I noticed that but decided I’d need to let that go. It’s also jarring that Randall goes to sit by her on the bed and they Both talk about how “safe” they are and I’m thinking... she just ate INSIDE a restaurant and walked around a grocery store without a mask.... she’s not safe now. Giving them a pass though.
  18. So Randall’s answer to his family never talking about what it felt like for him is to shut them out completely and not talk about it? Is he punishing them? That’s growth? And they totally made up for “limited commercial Interruptions” in that first hour in the second hour huh?
  19. I enjoyed it enough to be sad there won’t be a second season. Was anyone Else bothered by how much BACK and forth there was with locations? Like stay still people and quit splitting up! One minute they are at the hospital and then they are back at Daimon’s place and as soon as someone leaves they call them and are like “where are you we need you BACK here.” So frustrating. Some of the actions of the characters made me yell at the tv. Questions on final episode below look away if you haven’t watched yet: And when Yen And Ana go after Daimon and Gabriella why do they split up? She’s like “you get her and I’ll get him” but they didn’t know where they were and at that moment Daimon and Gabriella were actually in the SAME place. Was Ana thinking she’d draw him off? Just made no sense to me. And that last shot of the crib at family dinner made it look like the baby was gone and the next shot Yen has her so...are we supposed to think he took her? To raise her in a nurturing environment? But wouldn’t she be better off with a Dad, Aunt, grandma and whatever the heck keeper and Dr. Hastings are? and Skinner As dad! Yes please. Dammit I want a second season. But when he said let’s go see your brother and sister did he mean someone else? because Daimon is kinda her dad and...oh gross.
  20. It was so good to see everyone! I loved it and probably the first time ever I LIKED the commercials as much as the show. 🙂 Only sharing some critique because that’s what we do here: I rewatched the original episode this morning and I don’t think the conversations in the special felt as smooth or natural Or spontaneous as the show but I think because it was obviously more of a stage play. It was still wonderful to see them and I wasn’t expecting so many of the other characters to appear and that was an awesome surprise. Rob Lowe looks amazing and doesn’t seem to age and yet it was a little harder for me to believe the “wow that’s amazing” earnestness that Sam had back in the day from an obviously much more mature man. It looked like Rob Lowe had the script next to him in one scene and I thought ..did he not go off book? Then I thought “am I a nerd? and Then I realized they probably had it there on purpose. I do love Sterling but he didn’t convey that unspoken thing that Leo always had which was that he was slightly exasperated but loved these goofballs. I will say it’s a testament to how good it was that when they switched to the footage from the actual episode at the end it took a second for it to register because it felt so natural. I love these guys. I smiled through the whole thing. With all that said I DIDN'T REALLY CARE About Any of The little things and loved every second of it. West Wing is my comfort blanket.
  21. You’re KIDDING. I spent a good amount of time just staring at her during one segment because her blush/bronzer wasn’t blended at ALL and it looked horrible. I was just popping in here to see if I was the only one who found her annoying. I wanted to watch for New Orleans but this show is awful and she just really thinks she’s all that and a bag of chips when she just isn’t. The houses aren’t that great. The staging segments are boring and they don’t show enough New Orleans uniqueness, it could be set anywhere.
  22. I think they did a disservice to Lori by having Hope show up ok. It means she decided her son was a killer And did what she did to him based on circumstantial evidence, a short story, and a 5 year old getting angry enough to want to hit a kid over the head with a bowling ball. Made her less sympathetic than she was in the book. I really didn’t enjoy this. I even skipped a few episodes straight to the last two and I don’t feel like I missed anything. Chris was pretty though. And Michelle did an amazing job.
  23. I’m watching now and I have read the book and wondered how they could make 8 episodes out Of a fairly short story. The answer is very very slowly.....man this show is slow. My love for Chris and Michelle and wanting to see how they handle the end is keeping me around. Sooooo slow.

Oh! Those cut lines would have made Laurel seem so much better! As it was I was thinking why the hell are these people risking their lives for PAPERWORK?! I thought she looked ridiculous hanging back and then running through a burning Crumbling building with a stack of files and I got mad all over again that Tommy died for that stupidity. Got in the mood for some season 1 arrow recently....
  25. Roswell was the first thing I thought of too! But I wasn’t sure if that’s what they were going for....
