Same. I love her but I would have expected more charm, charisma… something MORE from Lucifer Morningstar. And not just because of Tom Ellis although I think he would have been so interesting with darker material (I think I’m one of the few who was disappointed in Lucifer and the tone that show eventually took in the end and my god awful Chloe…but I digress). Really didn’t get why Lucifer hated the lord of dreams so much except falling into the old “its Lucifer-so Lucifer hates everyone trope which is hard to digest after actually watching Lucifer. And I said “I am Hope” before Morpheus did so I knew it was coming but guess I don’t know why that was such a deal breaker..plenty of things can kill hope is it just that Lucifer didn’t want to? But isn’t that what Lucifer does? I mean all that being said I’m still liking the show. I should say more positive things but Still have the old television without pity mindset. oooh forgot to say I’ve enjoyed the winks at the audience between Jenna’s character saying she doesn’t like the royal family and Gwen starting the battle as a Direwolf This tv nerd got a kick out of it.

I don’t understand Eddie’s death on several levels. Why did he lead them away from the trailer? Did he realize they maybe would follow him through the rip and get Dustin and be loose on the world? Why did he make a stand in the middle of an open area instead of trying to get some cover? In the end didn’t he mostly get the same injuries as Steve? I mean Steve seems to be totally fine…thank god. I am sorry to see him die but am ok with it in the grand scheme of things if we get to keep most of our crew a bit longer, just feels a bit like a stupid death.

I don’t have much to add except that I thought it was sweet both MM and Butcher were sad for Frenchie missing herogasm. And That they said it in almost the exact same way. Reminds you they used to be a team. Hope those crazy kids can work it out eventually. Well also and I’m hoping for a redemption of some kind for soldier boy and I can’t seem to hate him the same way I hate Homelander and I totally recognize it’s just because it’s Jensen because I think the character as they’ve shown us probably doesn’t deserve the bit of me that keeps hoping there was more to the story of MMS grandpa getting killed.

I mean at first when I was watching the scene I thought that’s where he was heading (no pun intended) but yeah I figured out very fast where he was and spent the rest of the scene watching with my hands half over my eyes wondering how that was going to go very wrong because I knew it would….good god. This show.

I’m going to jump on the Steve better be ok train. If they need to kill one of the mains it should be someone else. But I just can’t help but think having giant bites from bat/face hugger/whatever the hell else they are from the upside down can’t be good and he may not end up with rabies but some nasty evil infection isn’t outside the realm of possibility. And he absolutely shouldn’t have gone last on that damn rope! How the hell is he supposed to pull himself with gaping wounds on his side? The other three should have figured out a way to help him up. At this point I’m tired of poor Steve taking a beating every season!

I came in here to see what people thought of Velshi. I’m just not feeling it. He seems nice enough but bleh… And it doesn’t make sense because I know he’s basically reading the same script Rachel would have gotten. I thought there was supposed to be a rotation but I must be super unlucky and only seem to catch him or Ari. I only saw one woman fill in for her and I liked her but can’t remember her name so that doesn’t bode well I guess. I was hoping they’d try out more up and comers or something but again…all I’ve seen is Velshi. I guess I should just be grateful Stephanie is nowhere near this time slot. Man she grates. its April now where is she? If Rachel is really not coming back may be time to just fully delete from my dvr.

Awesome. Yes. It’s basically sounds like she’d only do it if CC was nowhere near it and based on the absolute crap writing he did in the revival I 100% agree. And I’ve seen I want to believe twice and I have no memory of a swimming pool or gay couple having anything to do with the story. I remember the stupid hospital plot and some guy was kidnapping people for parts but couldn’t remember why. I really only watch for Scully’s pretty hair, the bed scene and “scratchy beard” at this point. the rest of the movie is a wash. Even their kiss at the end was filmed at some stupid angle if I remember right because Chris is an asshole who still wanted to be coy about the whole thing. Or maybe I’m just thinking about the series finale poorly lit jail kiss. I can’t believe how much I’ve grown to hate that man. I’m grateful for the creation of the show! That’s my mantra when I hear his name now.

I had a BIG problem with Aria and Ezra. It was super creepy and inappropriate and I still don’t like that they were played as one of the big romances of the show. I think that was a pretty popular opinion on this site anyway. The teen girl fans of the show were ok with it because …..well teen girls (and I can say that because I was one back in the day). I don’t like seeing Georgie doing this he’s just going to get hurt…and I don’t know what the writers are thinking. But there is still definitely the cultural difference of a teenage boy doing this is seen as he got “lucky” and a teenage girl would be a “victim” (I mean insert 17 yo missy in the exact same story in your head) and its messed up either way.

Ok so they have modern technology but no security cameras? Wouldn’t the headmistress have been better served to put a camera along with her magical security measures? Also record Beatrix saying all that evil shit? I was enjoying this show until it became a show where issues could be solved if they would just talk to each other. Hate that stuff.

I’ve been thinking the same thing but In the episode with the crawfish restaurant you can see one of the people helping Bobby paint was wearing a mask but it was a definite blink and you’ll miss it moment.

Absolutely not the only one. I love that movie and contend it would have been a bigger hit if not for the soundtrack! Would be interesting if she calls herself that and bumps into the original Wasp later……;) I had actual tears running down my face during the Yelena and Clint scenes and found myself yelling “I don’t care!” Every time they switched to Maya fighting and a little less so with Kate but still I wanted more time with Yelena and Clint. I want Yelena to know Nate was supposed to be a Natasha and was named for Nat. Those two I care about. Stomps foot.

I’ve been wondering the same thing! They just don’t seem all that badass. Just like regular guys with medallions whose eyes turn black when they drink a potion. Also I don’t buy that these hardened warriors would be able to be killed while they slept. I would have buyed it more if she tricked them somehow because they trusted Ciri then they just didn’t notice someone came in their room. I’d think they’d have heightened senses as Witcher’s or something.

I think Yennifer could have called for Ciri to come back? It also seemed like someone who wasn’t ditching him would have more of a reaction of “oh hey it’s clear I’ll grab Ciri and we will be right back!” But the way she reacted when he called to her indicated to him she was taking off. He knows her fairly well at this point.

I get that part and they took Centra but WHO are they? A religious group? They follow the white flame but what does the white flame stand for? They say fuck the north so are they all from the south? I haven’t been able to pick up any of that. Can’t pick up all the players in this mess. And yet I can’t stop watching either.

I really do enjoy the show but I’m completely confused by the mythology. Maybe because I don’t remember the first season that well? Who are the nilfgauard again? And I have a really hard time understanding what people are saying…stop mumbling!

No. It was the peddler that visited the two rivers in the first episode. You can tell when you see the full shot of him from behind and Perrin sees him in the city later and mentions it but thinks he’s seeing things. I read the first book and this is veering pretty wildly so I have a new theory after some of what Minn said about they are all connected and there are little bits of light between them…Im guessing Rands relationship with them and their friendship and the strengths they each bring are what he needs to not go dark. So in effect they are all part of the dragon. Cheesy yeah. Wrong…likely. Found it interesting that we saw what Minn saw when she looked at the boys individually but not when she looked at the ladies.

Wait Maya is going to get her own show? Someone tell the actress she needs a facial expression beyond perma scowl. You can show anger and frustration in more subtle ways. Not impressed. Can I have daredevil back? I love Yelena. Still mad they did Black Widow dirty and only gave her a movie after she was dead and it was basically a vehicle to set up Yelena more than it was a black widow movie but…dammit I do love Yelena. I loved her and Kate’s discussion and I want MORE. I was a little surprised she didn’t mention Clints family to try to sway Yelena but then thought maybe she was actually being smart and trying to protect that info but then remembered Clint was walking around no disguise with his kids in NY so maybe it’s not a full on secret he even has kids anymore…and then I stopped and let it go. Ive also been wondering how much detail the general public has about how Natasha died but even so the government may know more and I had this idea Val was related to the government somehow and would have given Yelena the file. Maybe all the govt knows is it’s a soul for the soul stone and you have to sacrifice a loved one and Clint is the only one who walked away so….power of deduction but no specifics. It broke my heart when Clint realized it was Yelena and he just nodded and said “ok” and the look on his face seemed like maybe he thinks he deserves her coming after him. He made me cry twice in one episode.

I’ve only read the first book and after skimming this thread I’m a little nervous I’m going to be spoiled for the rest in here but wow it felt like a lot was changed in the first episode. Perrin married? Moraine walking around basically announcing she is Aes sedai? (Sorry spelling) Rand and Egwene hooking up? All of them are considered to be possible dragons not just the boys? I thought the fear of the dragon was that he’d be a male that touched the source? Trollocs were how I imagined them though.

Wait. So what’s her face can keep her Gabe face when she becomes a ghost? Ugh. I can’t remember anyone’s names on this show. I don’t remember much about this show after so long but I do remember there were plot holes. I also remember the kids were often idiots.

Whelp. Don’t like Rory which makes sense since I’ve never really liked her mother. I remember why I stopped watching this show for a while with all the Chloe is the bestest most special everything….even Rory sings her praises. Ok I don’t HATE Chloe this season but I just don’t like it when I’m TOLD all time that a character is the best especially with a weak actor. (See Lana Lang) I love all the other characters so much though! How did they really think Lucifer could be god when he is still so self centered? Also, Why are we spending so much time on this new girl and so little Trixie? I do feel really bad for Ella. Ever time she cries I do. How is Tom Ellis getting BETTER looking?

Wait. Chloe is just asking all those questions NOW? Ugh I still don’t like her. Future miracle Angel baby? Why is there always a future baby? And yes Mira is awful for never helping her friends or calling her mom. The show is back to making me laugh out loud so I’ll forgive all the nonsensical plot stuff. My lord Tom Ellis is ruining me for other men. Damn damn good looking man.
