  1. This made me think about when Ivy & Hope did a photo shoot together, and Hope kept making passive-aggressive, snide comments about how awful Ivy was at modeling. Hope even did the super mature thing of stepping in front of Ivy so "more" of her could be in the picture.
  2. Oh no! You're one of those man stealing old ladies!!! :)
  3. One of the articles said she wore a size 32F and had neck pain...no kidding! Being that she's only a 32, she really is tiny. I hope this makes her feel better!
  4. So these people won't go somewhere unless they're getting paid to be there?
  5. I'm intrigued as well! Ashley actually said "We think it was a flattering edit." If what we saw was flattering, I can't imagine how she was!
  6. They love to do preachy/after school special shows. Homelessness, lung cancer, animal rescue... Don't get me wrong, these are very important issues, but not issues I want to see on a soap. Off topic, but I also hate when sitcoms do their "very special episodes."
  7. I guess they want to make sure we don't think they're in Paris, WI! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_Grant_County,_Wisconsin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_Kenosha_County,_Wisconsin
  8. The only time you hear about soap couples being together for an extended time is when their characters are written off and thus "out of town". So for a marriage to work, all they have to do is move!
  9. Then maybe Steffy only thinks she is lying, she just hasn't seen that version yet :)
  10. There are plenty of people who are not mentally ill who commit suicide due to bullying; throw in Aly's issues, what would one expect, that she would shrug it off and handle it well? The worst thing is, it wasn't even some random internet weirdo harassing Aly, it was her own uncle, who sat back and allowed his girlfriend to do it as well. Maya & Rick's lame apology was too little too late, not to mention insincere IMO.
  11. I'm kind of giving her the benefit of the doubt about the chicken nugget conversation. To my ears (which have been known to fail me on many occasions!), I gathered that she was asked a question like "What's your favorite fast food?" (the kind of thing that might be asked when there's absolutely nothing to say), and she did the "It's between Wendy's and McDonald's" reply.
  12. Ray's Ring, Season 6 Episode 4. The description: "It's not bad enough that he's lost his ring while away from home, but then an attractive woman at the airport propositions him, thinking that he is single. When Debra learns what happened, she decides to take matters into her own hands and show Ray what it would be like if she pretended to be single-but her plan has disastrous results."
  13. My sister is a big Raymond fan, and she always says the same thing. Robert is the one who seems ok with them, at least with Warren. I love when those two go off to get drunk during Thanksgiving.
  14. I looked it up and an entry in Urban Dictionary came up, but I doubt this is it :) "when something is so amazing you have to use a more colorful word to describe it. did you see that dance move? it was so pastel."
  15. I love their FAQ answer that pretty much says "just read it." No kidding!
  16. And then combine it with that terrible elevator music...the same music they played in the bank when Ray & Robert were kicking the ATM...you have pure comedy gold!
  17. I never did either. No, some of her meals didn't look so great, and yes she did use lots of seasoning packets and cream-of-whatever soup, but I think she was trying to appeal to an audience that was using those kind of ingredients. Truth be told, I liked some (not all!) of the ways she "dolled up" a box cake. I also found "Cocktail Time!" *shimmy shimmy* kind of cute! I did see that the kind of cancer she has isn't typically life threatening. That's not to say she has it easy, but at least that's somewhat positive in her favor! I do wish her well and hope for a speedy recovery for her!
  18. I went to a wedding where they actually had a Zippers type guy at the reception. For some reason I remember him doing Brown Eyed Girl. He had people out there dancing, and truth be told he wasn't half bad!
  19. I love how she stresses "NNNNNNNNN PAT????" Anther line I like from this episode is when Ray says "It's not idiotic it's RIGHT-iodic!"
  20. I think my standards are lower...as long as I enjoy watching something, I'll watch, even if nothing about it makes sense. Hell, I love Under the Dome, and I don't mean it as in love to hate or love to snark! I didn't like Season 4 because I HATED that whole hunter/cure nonsense and season 5 with the Augustine vampire story (although I guess this goes to your point about being well-plotted, which I don't feel either season was). I actually for some odd reason didn't mind season 6.
