Deadwood movie revival greenlight http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/01/deadwood-movie-revival-greenlight-by-hbo.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Dare I hope it will come true? I am very near to screeching.

If the hookup was supposed to come across in a positive light, why would they have shown Tommy watching it happen? As for Katie Cassidy's claims, didn't they continue throughout S3?
-
Ray was there to get his own show, not to be permanently paired with Felicity. I honestly feel they started to put nails in the Oliver/Laurel coffin in S1 with hooking them up. Then they had him turn a (drunk?) Laurel down early in S2 and actually having some sort of relationship with her sister.
-
Oh, yes. The reviews are the worst since the show treats him as Oliver. So when I see that in a review, I get the impression that the wrier doesn't pay attention to the show. So why should I pay attention to what they have to say about it?
-
If they do, I imagine they'll have to use mind control. Oliver has got to be the golden boy right now.
-
For me the deal is Barry calling him Ollie out of the blue. That's the weird part. He's been calling him Oliver since he's known him and wasn't really in touch with people who use the nickname. I'm not crazy about it, but I'm fine with people who've always used it continue to do so. It's tough to break that habit and it is their connection with the person they knew. If Diggle or Felicity ever call him Ollie, I'll know it's their way of saying code red or that we've got a doppelganger on our hands.
-
Who exactly is he gonna debate running unopposed as he is?
-
I don't think Barry was diminishing Oliver but I also don't remember him as doing it as a joke. That's what I found weird about it and Grant Gustin is certainly more than good enough to get joking across. Didn't he also use it twice during the crossover? I could be wrong, but the wounds are still too fresh for me to go back and check. Caleb Green is someone from the comics, he was never mentioned on the show, right?

If you're talking about SA's photo, it's from Bamford's Instagram account.
-
This is from Bamford's Instagram. Is it the same venue where Jessica Danforth made her candidacy announcement? I know it's not the spot of the announcement, but I seem to recall Oliver chasing Anarky through an auditorium. Maybe they'll finally hold the election.

They're taming her down plenty judging from all the onset photos from shooting 4x10 and further. I'm not sure I approve.
-
Hee. It's awesome. "I never intended to have you remind me of this forever." "Please accept my given under duress apology."
-
It's such a silly way to phrase it. Oh, now it's the team's priority? As opposed to being ranked 7th on their to do list so far this season?
-
For his sake, I hope the suit remained buried.
-
Wait, what? That was a real thing?
-
Does anyone else think that's weird time to place a comic titled The Dark Archer? He was Ra's at that point. I can make more sense of placing it at any other point, probably best after S1.
-
That's some cup. But he should be well guarded against kicks in the groin.

Plus the thing is, the way it started, with Oliver admitting there was something he wanted to check out first was pretty much perfect. Not in the sense that he's a perfect human but in acknowledging his need to process things and asking for space, with Felicity giving it to him. Then of course it went kaboom. It was still better than what we have now. The reveal and confrontation hurt, but in the ripping off a band aid way. Now the thing has just been left to fester.

Except that Speedy wasn't in the running for the douchiest douchbag who's ever douched. And I find it weird for people to adopt a diminitive nickname for a 30-year-old Oliver. Yes, people have nicknames, but they usually acquire this type of nicknames earlier on and the people they meet later in life don't just adopt these things out of nowhere. It's not like Oliver introduced himself as Ollie to Barry. I put so much on Laurel that I'm willing to let this one slide. Especially since until Barry's weirdness, there was such a clear line in the sand. Thea, Tommy, Laurel, Sara - Ollie. Everybody else - Oliver. But yes, having Laurel switch to Oliver would be nice for the reasons you mention.
-
I'm fine with friends and family memebers who knew him before the Gambit calling him that (althoguh I wouldn't mind if they stopped, thereby acknowledging how much he's changed), but that's where I draw the line.
-
Seeing Ollie so many times makes my eyes hurt and completely unwilling to read this. It may have an insightful perspective, but I hate this Ollie crap so much I don't want to read it.

Oh, the multiple suitors thing. I hate it because it doesn't make sense. It certainly made sense in the first season, but not in the fourth and on. What was it with the fixation to get Mary re-married? Matthew left her the money as far as I recall and she was set for life. Plus she had the goal of working on the Abbey to leave it viable and prosperous for George, someting I think really appealed to her. So really, what was the point of it? The best thing about the whole thing was Mary trying out one of the guys and deciding they weren't sexually compatible, so no ring there, buddy. It would have made more sense to me if she chose to have a discreet affair or two and for the marriage campaign to start when a scandal threatened to get out. Robert and Violet going to Strathen was actually a weird and pretty unique instance of them expecting better for Edith. Thouh it was pretty stupid, since the guy only had an issue with one arm. And you know, a bevy of people working for him, making it even more insignificant. If the problem was psychological and he was seen losing it at some function, then their action would have been understandable. In the end, I'm not cut up about it because the dude just went with it and left Edith high and dry. She deserved better, only not for the reason Violet and Robert used.

Oh, I don't think Ra's was ever motivated by spare Nyssa in any regard. But I do agree that he was tired of everything.

Never as far as I recall.
