  1. Why is Darhk trading punches with Oliver when he can suck the life out of people? Come on now.
  2. I read that earlier today and it's standard Macha. Meaning very much in character and a touching exploration of their actions and reactions. She gets me with small things. Like say Lyla, who only shows up on the phone but is so perfectly Lyla and on top of everything.
  3. Good to hear about your sister getting out. Well, now I just have to look for After Hours just to read the description and the tags.
  4. Okay. As I said, I haven't read it since it didn't seem like my cup of tea, so I misconstrued what you were saying.
  5. I ran across Toby pranking Josh on election day which is very funny. But Josh pulls out the 'I can be whoever you want me to be' line on an attractive woman. Ew, man. But the Sorkin years are truly wonderful.
  6. Mwahaha. Welcome to the dark side. I saw the tags on that one and decided not to read it. As for the situation with the boyfriend, I find it difficult to judge whether it's in character or not because real people who you would never expect find themselves (sadly) in these situations. I actually wonder how the relationship co-exist with her working with Oliver and Dig. I presume she's on the team if it's S2.@10Eleven12, After Hours?
  7. I'm watching random West Wing clips on Youtube. This was such an amazing show. The wrath of whatever from high atop the thing. I think I'll have to dig up my DVDs.
  8. davidpaulramsey Just Flashin' Happy Bday @grantgust #arrowseason4 #theflashseason2
  9. So I read it and I hate myself for it. It's good but really short and the wait is long.
  10. I think Oliver should be in the field pretty much always as well. But maybe he's sidelined due to an injury, his bad knee acting up or something. So then he has to direct the team from the lair, like he did with Ray last year. The thing is, there doesn't even have to be so many fight scenes. I saw a gifset of Oliver disarming a Bratva stooge in S1 and that looked bad.ass. So many of the great stunts haven't been actual fights. Oliver jumping rooftops or scaling buildings, flipping Felicity over the railing or, probably my favorite ever, climbing up the chains Malcolm left him in and then dropping to break them. All the sequences this season come down to fights in the dark.
  11. To be fair, they don't even have to do that. Have the team alternate and work out some sort of schedule so that Oliver can go to a campaign function one night, Dig can stay at home with Sara when Lyla has her pottery class, Thea can go on a date, Laurel can go to AA or have dinner with her dad... It's so easily fixed and they refused to do it. I have no clue how they can't see this would make the team seem more dynamic, offer them the chance to test out new things and finally, everybody converging having some damn impact instead of causing the reaction - oh, it's all of them. Again. Yawn. And for the love of God, scope the perimeter and use multiple entry points.
  12. way2interested, I cannot agree more. Especially about looking like the a fic you wouldn't want to read. My first reaction upon reading the description was basically this: And yet...
  13. Plus, the cameras are situated more at her eye level than Oliver's. That would be a neat twist. Also, we can't ignore that she's not even four and already received training. I wonder at the age difference between her and Sara Diggle. Maybe Sara's her mentor at the Baby Badass class set up by Lyla. And I'm definitely putting more thought into what will happen here than on the show.
  14. Best case scenario, it's both. Their Darcy looks like snot-nosed, so that's working against them. Unless he's really clever and uses that as subterfuge. Sly Stallone got an Oscar nom?
  15. Yeah, it's from that episode. She's holding the baseball cap of doom.
  16. Source This encapsulates all my feelings on masks marching in a straight line. And is a better use of Vandal Savage than on the crossover.
  17. His social media proclamations aside, I don' really get the impression that they're not comfortable around each other. Certainly not on screen, and they pose on set together, plus SA teased the "you're coming with me" line in a Facebook video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. I don't recall if this has been posted, but Oliver shows up in LoT's promo for Ray. And Caitlin asks an important question - what is it about billionaires being superheroes. Though that might be from when he crossed over to The Flash last year. I wouldn't know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUVLq6hursw&feature=youtu.be
  19. Do we really know that Ollie had a lot of male relationships before the island? There are Robert and Tommy by my count. Sure, there were also Carter Bowen and Max Fuller, but I don't think they count.
  20. Yep, this show really benefits from binge watching. It's how I saw the first three seasons and even season three was easier to manage, I believe, than it was for people who were following live. And losing some dead weight in plotting could also make for tighter storytelling.
  21. You're completely right. I admit I was too caught up in Moira and the Queen ladies' interactions to even connect the dots. Felicity could surely access someone else's computer and not her own once at QC so that they would be harder to track down. I wonder if anyone commented on this so maybe the writers can include something in the next chapter. Oliver freaking out and Felicity possibly saying that she rectified her absentmindedness by leaving a false trail on her computer before they left the building?
  22. There's the confirmation that he's part of Shadowspire. It's in the hashtags. If anyone even cares. I only care that it actually connects Oliver's time on the island to the Diggles. True. But they could do it like they did with Constantine, someone that Oliver already knows.
