  1. I don’t think a bit of crude language makes a group “the worst people”.
  2. Tangentially related to the episode … I was in Malta this past Oct. It is stunningly beautiful. If you ever have a chance to go … do it. Happy to see Sydney gone.
  3. That was an amazing hour plus of television.
  4. I think that he is somehow trying to scam her (I do not believe he is planning on killing her as a favor to Greg, his long lost hetero love from 30 years ago - that is hardly plausible). If there was no scam, I cannot see a reason for pretending Jack is his nephew, nor can I see why Greg would allow his rent boy/boy toy/escort to fuck Portia on Greg's dime.
  5. Except when I close my eyes when he is speaking, all I can hear is Peter Gallagher.
  6. Given that this "competition" has been rigged for a few years now with blatant favoritism and contestants with super heavy dance backgrounds, I think it is hilarious that Vinny is still alive and kicking. At least it makes things a little more humorous. At the end of the day, does it really matter? We all know who is going to win.
  7. Agreed. At this point, people have used the term "gaslighting" incorrectly so many times that it has lost all meaning.
  8. Maybe Carol? Only because he was played by Scott Porter, who is a bigger actor than a 5-minute roll in one episode.
  9. There is zero chance that Blake and Katie weren't already together before taping began. Nothing about this show is real.
  10. Wait ... so if Lilith was Adam’s first wife, is Adam Maze’s mother? So Maze is essentially in love with her former step-mother?
  11. I really enjoyed the new season, but the treatment of Ander and Omar's relationship was terrible ... especially since they were one of my favorite parts of the show. The girls really brought it this season - even Nadia, who I did not like previous seasons. I also really grew to love Lu this season.
  12. I laughed at the numerous Supernatural references (“Sam Dean”) since Colin Ford played a young Sam Winchester.
  13. Honestly ... why do people keep forgetting that Wes killed Sam in self-defense (of others)??? It's not the same thing as the rest of the things listed. We also have no idea whether or not Laurel killed her mom. You did forget to list that Bonnie killed Rebecca.
  14. http://people.com/tv/oliver-stark-birthmark-911/ Article about Oliver Stark a/k/a Buck. I had no idea he was British. He seems adorable.
  15. Robbie got a 47 on his English test, which would not have permitted him to play in the homecoming game. The principal and coach were pressuring Lou to let Robbie play, and Lou said he would let Robbie retake the test and allow him to play if he tried out for the musical. So really, I think it barely qualifies as blackmail anyway.
  16. Lou didn't blackmail Robbie (the star QB) to join the musical. Sure, he blackmailed him to try out because he wanted to drum up interested and get other boys to try out. But he very calmly talked to him in the gym and told Robbie that he thought he had talent. He explained to Robbie that he could both play football and be in the musical (I think he said Robbie would miss one game if he committed to both). He told Robbie to think about it and left the decision up to Robbie. I understand the comparisons between Glee, but this is not at all the same situation. I actually found this Pilot much more similar to Friday Night Lights - especially with the opening scene cinematography of Lou driving and the music used. Plus, the mom/coach affair is definitely shades of Tara's mom sleeping with Buddy Garity.
  17. That website is not the least bit credible and those posts are gross and use terrible, slut shaming, misogynistic language.
  18. I haven't watched this show in years, so I really don't know who Tinsley is ... but a bunch of friends and I just found out that she is currently dating Scott. We went to high school (and were friends) with him, though we lost touch once he started making money hand over fist and became a bit too cool for school. This is all so hilarious.
  19. Wasn't that Yara's body hanging from the front of the ship at the end when Theon was floating in the water? And I don't blame him at all. He was in an unwinnable situation. Yara's throat would have been slit and Euron would have killed Theon had Theon made any type of move to try and save her.
  20. Ugh. I wanted to like the episode because I appreciated what they tried to do in showing the inherent bias in our legal justice system. But damn, if you are going to do a courtroom episode, get a legal consultant. Researching the hoodie online - NOT ALLOWED. Discussing the case - NOT ALLOWED. At least try and make it realistic.
  21. Connor could sleep with all of Oliver's exes and it will still never be as wrong as Oliver's decision to torpedo Connor's future by cancelling his Stanford acceptance. Fuck Oliver. Just to add, though ... While Connor knew Oliver went out on a few dates with some guy named Thomas, how would he even know who Thomas was to be able to sleep with him? Totally contrived.
  22. I don't think Val was selling Tamar down the river at all. I think he was being 100% protective of her and was completely and totally annoying with having to sit there and listen to them critique a routine that Tamar stumbled through during dress rehearsal while obviously very sick. I think that when he said she should not have been there and when he said it didn't even matter, he meant she shouldn't have been dancing in the first place and that the judge's comments on her dancing were irrelevant in light of her illness.
