She couldhave been back to normal, but clearly she wasn't. When my husband has a Tonic Clonic seizure it is awful to watch,but he is himself again withing 30 minutes, Albeit sore and sometimes with a headache. Sometimes he actually feels great, almost like his brain had a reboot. I am going to guess that she lifted Josie up to prevent her from banging her head around on that tile floor. The first thing I do it remove anything my husband can hurt himself with and depending on where he is put him in a soft spot. But ,and this is a big but, I always look at the clock when they start because if the actual seizure goes longer than 5 minutes there is a much bigger risk. That was an awfully long seizure for Josie and I'm sure that is why they did a CT scan.

I did a Josh. I went back to school. I started back to school at 43. I started at community college and, I am 7 credits from my associates degree. I had to take 2 remedial maths. I hadn't seen algebra since 1986 The school did give me credits for the remedial maths (3 each)...but.. they did not count towards my Associates at all. In fact, I will have taken 4 maths in total. 2 remedial and 2 college level. In fact, I should be studying right now as my final is tomorrow. I need an A to get an A in this class, and if I do then I will have a 3.9 GPA. I have been offered scholarships at multiple private schools and they will not count those remedial classes either. And even with the online classes he should be having his mind expanded. I take a mix of online and on campus classes, and even the online ones are discussion heavy. I see highly religious kids in these classes that have had little or no exposure to the outside world. Some of them get their eyes opened a bit. Some stay safe in their little boxes and deny anything that doesn't meet their world view. I hope school opens Josh's eyes .

Kreuzberg was in a weird position in West Berlin. It's sort of in the corner, surrounded by wall on three sides. As a result it was a somewhat poor area and was filled with arts and um, unusual people. Now that the wall is down it is right in central Berlin. In the mitte. My hotel was in kreuzberg but it was right in No mans land, literally. It was the space between the inner and outer wall where barbed wire and towers once were. It's now a beautiful, popular area. As you walk through it you will see dashes on the road where the wall cut through, so you always know where the wall was. Can you tell how mucn I love Berlin? One sign is Live and Love. I think the title is self help in Kreuzberg.The person on the roof , with the telescope, is looking over the wall into east Berlin. A common thing to do

The gave the location at the begining as Kreuzberg, which was a part of west Berlin. There was never any indication they went anywhere else. I would have thought they would have shown the location again , if they did. What is interesting is the Berlin Wall did not enclose East Berlin, it enclosed West Berlin as Berlin is an island inside of East Germany

I really think it depends on the situation though. It's a last ditch thing after all else fails . We never reached that point with my niece and she has nearly 2 years clean. I have seen some cases where it was neccessary. It can save lives in the end. It does save lives. I've seen it.

Reform Judaism has been peforming gay mariages for decades. Conservative Judaism for less I wouldn't call a church who won't perform gay mariages haters. I would call them discriminatory, but they have every right to do so. I would not favor the government forcing them to perform them

Escargot is so good. It tastes sort of like clams but with a ton of garlic and butter. Now what did shock me in Venice was the amount of horse meat sold and eaten, even on pizza. I can see why escargot is scary. I didn't try it until I was 40. I probably wouldn't have if I were 22 like Jessa. In Rome there were tours that showed Catholic and Roman sites, but then their were tours of just Christian sights or just Ancient Roman ones. We stuck mostly to Roman ones.
