  1. Is this a strategy, or is this her personality, magnified by TV? I see she is a "Digital Media Coordinator", whatever that may be - sounds like one of those catch-all made-up titles. I find myself wondering what she'd be like to work with, or know in RL. I, for one, don't like the idea of being called "pathological" every time I disagree with someone. However, I kinda hate seeing the "characters" go first. Jace, Da and Audrey are at least interesting. Everyone else seems so bland by comparison.
  2. To me her face looks completely botoxed, nothing moves except her mouth and her eyeballs. Just can't watch.
  3. Someone needs to tell "award-winning actress" (really???) Patricia Arquette to put down the Botox and step away. It's like watching a plastic mask - the only part of her face that moves is her lips, kind of like a ventriloquist's dummy. The rest of her face is frozen, except for occasional side-to-side eye movement. Totally distracting. Given that, and the already mentioned stupid factor, last night was the first, and the last hour I'll waste on this.
  4. When Deacon and Rayna were holding hands watching Vince Gill announce her, just as she walked on stage she said something to Deacon. Did anyone catch what she said? My pet peeve - when the music is so loud you can't understand the words being sung.
  5. So, given that Rayna said "People"s exclusive coverage of the wedding was "almost paying" for the thing, how much will they renegotiate for the exclusive on the break-up? There had to be some kind of photog who got pictures. And I guess the break-up cancels the year long tour for one of them (guess who)? LOL - given the nature of some contracts, I can almost see a year long "break-up tour". So Luke and/or Rayna be a lot poorer and still have huge non-wedding bills to pay? May not look so good for the girls to get their own horse instead of boarding school. And what ever happened to the story line where Jeff was eye-balling the girls to contract them out from under Rayna? I was looking forward to that mess. Because it will become a plot devise for a meeting between Luke and Rayna to angst more over the non-wedding. I'd just messenger the thing back to him, but we know the writers won't let that happen.
  6. Yet that pocket watch keeps coming back in one way or another, so where ever clothes and things go, they don't go far.
  7. I watched the freestyles on Youtube. Val and Janel - BTDT (been there done that), boring. Contemporary almost always bores me. Too much angst. Derick and Bethany - I tuned out with the militaristic opening. Too faux drama. Mark and Sadie - watched as much as I could stand, just too tweee for me, plus Sadie just didn't look her best (looking at mark on this one). Somebody here described her as "coltish". Right on! Alphonso and Witney - OMG! That was so...... I dunno.... it felt like I'd accidentally switched channels and was watching......I dunno.....something else, something truly professional....which is kinda what I expect at this point in the show. Do you think.....is there any chance that Sadie's ducky and boy band voting block could cause her to win? I'd hate to see that. Alphonse has been so good, and so entertaining all season - he has to win. And that would be a win for Whitney too - which would be good.
  8. I haven't been a regular watcher of TBBT for a while now. Last night's ep reminded me why. I absolutely hate Howard and Bernadette. Their relationship has become nothing more than moving back and forth between the sicky sweet to bitch-mode (both of them). They're why I stopped watching, and after last night, I'm done. I'd like to stick around and see if Raj grows through his parent's separation, see if he becomes less of a douche. But.....no. Can't do it.
  9. I love me some GMcR, and am glad to see him working after Longmire got canceled. But given the unresolved cliff-hanger on Longmire, he might have been looking for work whether the series got canceled or not. Damn, he looked hot in that suit. Usually he plays more scruffy characters.
  10. Heh - "NCIS: Perky, Quirky and Mumbles" Topanga - I like Mumbles, I like him very much. He stands out in a clichéd cast. Yes, he's the good ole boy cliché, but he does it very well. I just can't understand most of what he says. I agree about the possibility of a forced romance, too. I am most definitely NOT a shipper. As for Ms. Pounder, I've read nothing but raves for her, but I'm not seeing it, yet. Jette may have a good point about the dialog she's given.
  11. This show just isn't gelling for me. It's schizo, all clumsy swinging between an awkward buddy-fest and the barest outline of a COTW. Perky probie is so out of place! I haven't disliked a character this much since they intro'd Bishop on the Mothership. She just doesn't work, figuratively or literally, as Sapppyjo pointed out. And her bright-eyed perkiness is so annoying; I cringe when she appears on my screen. Listening to good ole boy Christopher LaSalle is like slogging through the mushiness of a summer afternoon on the Gulf. I get it, he a 'Bama boy. I suspect he has some contribution to make to the plot, but damned if I can understand what he's talking about. Perk-ette and Mumbles both really take me out of the flow of the show. Scott Bakula is eye-candy for me, and I'll put up with a lot for that, altho I'll admit I didn't last beyond a few episodes with "Enterprise". I'm beginning to think I'm not going to last here, either. Sorry, Scott. ETA: The Gibbs cameo was gratuitous. I suppose the implication was that Gibbs had some kind of special sneaky access that he was sharing with Pride, but...... all that just for a bro-hug? And reading below, I agree with Linderhill about the forced "charm" of "quirky lab-tech guy", too. My question is......will this program settle into something watchable, or should I give up now and avoid the rush?
  12. Completely absurd. Dano was right, he's chum, because this one is jumping sharks all over the place.
  13. Loved Frankie trying to find someone to hi-five him, and no takers. Christine has finally done something I like by ignoring him. PS Missing Wings707, she should be here.
  14. Don't think he lied as much as he redirected the focus of the question. He talked about how much he loved them. That has nothing to do with whether he used them or not. Typical Derrick.
  15. Wow, Cody must have been on a different show, because I don't remember seeing all of what he's claiming!
  16. Just noticed, Donny still has the beard. Guess BB still wouldn't let him shave it off.
  17. I'm giving odds on that dress splitting at the seams before the night's over. Any takers?
  18. Still laughing at the eagle edging away from Stephen Colbert in the nut commercial. Too funny!
  19. Has Dr. Will cornered the market on botox?????
  20. Aside from her time, I think Victoria did very well climbing around on that wall.
  21. Listening to her DRs, I wonder what V. would sound like on helium. Could her voice be any more annoying? PS Loving this live feed chat already!
  22. No love, the worst feeling in the world would be to have to take personal responsibility for your life instead of riding someone else's coattails.
  23. Julie just called Victoria a floater. Are the jurors listening to her? That looks brutal!
  24. Stinger - thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou, you wonderfulest mod, you.
