  1. LOL ParadoxLost - you'd only have to listen to it half the time, as Scott Bakula can't seem to hold onto it for any length of time.
  2. I thought Australia, but why would a NY character wear an Australian necklace? Has there been any mention of Aust. in the context of Carrie Wells?
  3. When I read this, I "literally" saw a head of iceberg lettuce perched on his shoulders. Didn't even finish watching last night's show; too samo-samo, boring. Plus the return of Nicoles screechy voice was too much to take. Frankie's famewhoring has become completely lamewhoring, and it sounds like it's only going to get worse with the Play That Must Not Be Seen. Aside from keeping up here, I'm out for the season.
  4. According to Charlie, Frank's outside line phone call "telling his dad" about the plagiarized paragraph was intended for Abby's eavesdropping ears. How did Frank know she'd be the operator handling the call? Too many tiny coincidences like this.
  5. What is the necklace she's wearing? It sorta looks like Australia, but I'm sure that isn't it.
  6. I can't remember a gay BB hamster who wasn't some kind of stereotype, usually the more flamboyant, the better. And in some cases, Andy especially, they devolve into embarrassments for any community. But by the time that happens, most of the hamsters are embarrassments. Donny seems to be the exception.
  7. LOL - Maybe it's AGs payback for us being so outspoken about last year's antics? As in "How dare you question my......blah-blah-blah. Let's see how you like this, bitches! "
  8. What is the penalty if someone chooses to DOR? And would that apply for a medical DOR? Thanks
  9. Thanks njbarmaid. Boy, Frankie is looking old in that picture, almost haggard, with his eyes sunken in like that. ETA: Ya know? It occurs to me that for a self-professed "cutie pie" like Frankie, being called old and haggard would be horrifying.
  10. Isn't the BB house on the CBS lot? If so, how are people getting to it? CBS employees would suffer repercussions if they yelled at the hamsters. And why aren't there fly-over banners any more? How did CBS stop that? What is a buy-back? Thanks.
  11. IRC unless a player is a real sleaze, there seems to be a tendency to admire a game well played. Heh - I wonder if......... when Derrick, having been so stealthy throughout the game, is sitting in one of the final two chairs, he might not have a problem convincing the jury that he actually ran the game.
  12. Must have missed it. Please - can someone explain the Skittles references?
  13. I miss the old "have/have not" comps. This idea that it's now determined, almost behind the scenes, with exercise bracelets is so lame. And I haven't seen any sign of h/hn status except random people in the cold room. Same thing for food comps. I liked seeing them have to earn their foods.
  14. An undercover cop becomes who the subjects expect him to be, becomes like the people around him. If they're Republicans, he's a Republican. If they're Dems, he's a Dem. If they're Hell.s Angels, he......etc. etc. Biker gangs are some of the most misogynistic scum around. And....I suspect the locker room at the station can get pretty twisted, too. I suspect that Derrick was - in part - reflecting the gestalt of the all-male group. I'm not excusing, just seeing the dynamic in action. The BOB - I suspect that being solo actually worked in Frankie's favor once he figured out how to work the chains in tandem. His left hand was always in coordination with his right, unlike having two different people on the chains.
  15. Just found out that tonight's episode is delayed........by golf! I cracked up because - sorry golf fans - to me, watching men walk around the grass chasing little white balls is the one thing more boring than this season's BB.
  16. I've noticed that every time Christine votes to evict, she kisses her wedding ring just as she sits down.
  17. Verizon's On Demand service is now listing the episode, at 1 hr 10 minutes.
  18. Strategery aside, I want Nicole and Jocasta to go so I can watch the DRs without my ears bleeding.
  19. If Branch-daddy was in cahoots with Nighthorse, why he allowed the tormenting of Branch by Ridges to continue without stepping in. He knew Ridge was Nighthorse's "soldier". He had to know what was going on. So.....he just let his "beloved" son be driven to the edge of madness????
  20. I've read several bits here about BB in other countries, and some of the elements in those games, some of which have been successful. Wouldn't it be simple to adapt those to BBAmerica?
  21. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that Big Bang Theory is getting behind schedule because of contract negotiations. Supposedly the first table reading, scheduled for last week, didn't happen, postponed. Of course that's only one of three programs, but it's probably the one that pulls the biggest ratings.
  22. With these prime specimens, I chalk it up to simple-minded ignorance. I wouldn't expect either a filter or sensitivity from most of them. When people like these (and Aaryn) are raised in a self-righteous, entitled cocoon, and rarely required to take any responsibility for thoughts, words or actions, and trained to parrot the crap spouted by the "adults" around you, this is the kind of bilge they pour out. All these people have to do to "make it" in their worlds is be just like everyone else, and that is no stretch at all. Look at all the news articles about parents "rushing to the rescue of their poor abused kiddies" whenever someone tries to hold them accountable. This, a house full of brain-dead hamsters, is the result.
  23. Knowing Monday night's show is the end of the season I'm feeling kinda robbed. We've wasted a whole season on this dark murky stuff. I think I kept watching hoping it'd all end soon, but it never did. I'm sure there'll be another season, and hopefully TPTB read forums like this and will take note, lighten it up a bit.
