Based on what TVLine and Deadline are also reporting, Warner Horizons is already shopping the series around, the primary targets are DC Universe (which currently gets to air episodes after SYFY control windows passes), and the new HBOMax. So, it ain’t over, folks.

There was an nuclear tinged incident in the extreme northwest corner of Russia late last week, that apparently did involve a radiation leak that was measured in the atmosphere from an explosion on a Russian naval base facility that is involved in the development of nuclear powered rockets which among others, killed five of the leading Russian nuclear scientists. A lot af secrecy in this as the Russian government refuses to confirm or explain what happened but the five deaths (among others plus injured) are confirmed by public funerals held today for the five scientists. Sound a tad familiar doesn’t it? Does this mean the Russians haven’t learned a thing three decades plus after Chernobyl?

We don’t know the full extent Nyssa’s father had her trained before the time period of the series, or off-screen since then. It is quite conceivable that she learned self-defense as an important Vex.

I am curious that by the end of episode Murphy had apparently acquired a boyfriend. Did he ever have one before? The first kiss surprised him in some way, his reaction dismissing it was seemingly Murphy, but then after the fight, he was the one who went for a return kiss. Clearly a thread surprising thread for next season. As to the leads it seems the actors playing Bellamy and Clark get first listing next time around, with the other first season regulars that are still left just after. Any big names for season seven would likely get the “with” “guest star” or “special guest star” labels.

I think they’re headed to have the original Harrison Wells, who died years earlier because of Reverse Flash, finally be the Wells. Just remember the post Crisis timeline for the one Earth will be different than any of the others nfinite esrths. I think that comes to bear on all of the Arrowverse shows, including FTA on Arrow, who might be older in 2040, and thus affect how a spinoff could be structured. I don’t think the CW wants to give any hints as to what will replace Arrow, and an FTA that’s not 20 years from now would be something they’d sit on.

It may well be that post-COIE, Black Lightening becomes part of the Arrowverse, which it hasn’t been until now.

The character was created by the Arrow production team, and there may be some contract provision about future returning guest appearances, so the Arrow team would have to sign off, since the Flash team wouldn’t know about any plans.

Somehow, I got the impression that Reece is also Lexi’s dad.

I expect all the Arrowverse shows are resetting after COIE, so the pre-COIE story arcs are intentional to make these resets have a greater contrasts. If the source material is any guide, it should allow the writers to fix their mistakes from past seasons.

I have to agree with Herself’s take on STARZ CEO Hirsch’s ill-thought out comments. I have watched a number of Starz’s Original series, not because they were female centric but because they were intelligent historical series, and then there’s Outlander’s sci-fi bent. Besides Outlander, that includes Spartacus (the three series plus the prequel), The White Queen, the White Princess, Black Sails, the Spanish Princess. Maybe he needs to redefine his terms, because that is not how I’d define female centric. His comments just piss me off.

It is common practice that an actor with season regular status appear in the credits, whether or not they’re in the episode or not. It partially depends on the actor’s contract provisions. i’m under the impression this show plans out the scripts for all the episodes up front before filming. So far I’ve been nothing but impressed how the stories have been unfolding.

I’ve been encountering a new behavior I’ve not seen here before in a number of threads for different shows where there are numerous links to display content from social media and websites which causes the page of posts not to completely display. Often, during loading, the screen (I use the dark theme) goes white, and often recycles between the outline of where the linked content would go, and the white screen in a loop that never ends. I use different devices with different OS and browsers, and this is occurring on all of them. It also became quite noticeable during these past two weeks (i.e., ComicCon). And it does include website links, links to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, etc.) Can’t find a solution other that skipping that page completely.

I quoted what STARZ said, not what the entertainment media said, FWIW, I doubt the CEO of STARZ would have said “early” to mean April. One article I saw made note that the gap between seasons premiering has been 14 to 17 months, and applying that range would point to February-March. These recent seasons were 13 episodes and season 5 and 6 are for 12 episodes, so that’s more reason to think “early” is February-March.

I’ve now watched this episode four times, and I get more impressed with it each time. The filling of previously unknown back story to Krypton before JorEl is brilliant. But a couple of unanswered questions. When and how did the Kryptonians ever learn where Earth was? And who was the actor that portrayed Zed/Doomsday? He wasn’t listed in the credits.

Starz confirmed today at today’s TCA presentation that season 5 will premiere in “early 2020.” As STARZ will air the final five episodes of Power during January, this probably means February at the earliest.

Amazon normally releases an entire season at the same time. Part of the extended period between seasons is due to the shift from SYFY to Amazon. How long the wait for next season would depend in part of when preproduction starts and whether Amazon has allowed that preproduction to have begun. At this point, preproduction would not be dependent on the release date. As a comparison, Outlander has been beginning production on the following season when the filming season is about halfway through, and the droughtlander, as it is called, is still reaching roughly 18 months.

The COIE event is rapidly taking on the look of an epic event that broadcast television networks haven’t done in decades. It almost seems as if almost every DC character that has ever been represented on television could be involved and in a way, even as cameos, it would make sense.
