  1. In the US, token can mean (especially with people of color), that someone is added in just to make it seem diverse. So a TV show could have a cast of white people and then a token black guy, or token asian guy. It's a way to make something seem diverse when it isn't. The better way to describe it would be a cameo by Morgan Freeman.
  2. High schoolers would be scared of getting in trouble with the teacher for using too much language.
  3. At the end of the Lindbergh episode, Lucy, or someone, was reading something, and read that he reappeared two weeks later in the French countryside.
  4. The prison company pressured the builder to pressure PSL
  5. "We're Pearson Specter Litt, and we do all of the shit (that messengers, paralegals, etc. should be doing)!"
  6. At least White Collar and Burn Notice were still fun. White Collar still had a bit of pep in its step .
  7. How is everyone doing, now that school is starting within the next month? Having a good end of summer?
  8. I think all of us have thought or said that Mike should've referred it to Zaine - they are having a thin quarter, after all! Also, we had someone who writes Louis well! Or I have such stockholm syndrome from crappy Louis that he seemed good this episode. He fits 1, 2, 5, and arguably 4 & 6.
  9. It's something that he signed an affidavit saying that Bratton had no involvement in or didn't tell him to do, something like that. Maybe they breached attorney-client privilege in order to get a client? Or maybe they blackmailed or bribed someone.
  10. Yeah, seriously - I was thinking Mike would be like "hey my future father in law has a firm that would probably love to take this on...." Since he could probably come up with a way to get in trouble that way. Maybe in the Suits universe, if a case starts at a firm, it stays at a firm :O
  11. Her plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan Atlantic Ocean, it spun in, there were no survivors. Maybe they'll do that :P
  12. Mike, Rachel, Harvey, Donna, and Louis need to go to family therapy together. Actually, scratch that - those five could go to a therapist so much that he'd have enough money to buy an island in a year. It'll be a job offer in England. Maybe Papa Zaine has a firm there.
  13. And NBC probably has first dibs on her even if it does interfere
  14. I dunno. I'm guessing it was as a courtesy - as it was Jessica's first client. I think she still has power, in the sense that she has money in the firm. But she trusts Louis and Harvey to make all of the decisions.
  15. I'm just getting my Dulé fix until the Psych movie.
  16. She still has her investment in the firm.
  17. It doesn't seem like a change in premise - just saying what they will be dealing with going into season 2 - since they have made a new home for themselves and found the right person to give JJ his voice.
  18. They were talking about life insurance - the wife died in a car accident, but the life insurance company wasn't paying due to smoking.
  19. The Emmys are largely down to who can throw the most money at the voters - the show Mom had a budget of a quarter million dollars for their FYC (For Your Consideration) campaign, but donated it to charity.
  20. At least Louis has a therapist. That makes sense. My theory: the ridiculous salary that Donna has that they mentioned in the past was enough where Donna could squirrel away a good chunk. Oh wait, wasn't some of it from selling the rights to that horrible plot line last season?
  21. The Donna thing is still stupid, but at least she isn't senior partner? When Harvey said he had a plane to catch, I was like "Wait but Pfizer is in the city why is he flying---ohhhhhh"
  22. That was the first thing I thought when I read the blind item.
