S04.E11: Who Let the Dog Out ('Cause Now It's stuck in a Cistern)
bros402 replied to thewhiteowl's topic in Scorpion [V]
I liked Florence in this episode. It might be because I like Tina Majorino Cabe's verdict was a foregone conclusion, imagine if they had been like okay, he's guilty, but he has to perform community service/pay a fine/has a suspended prison sentence until he finds Collins (then of course something would happen in the course of that to make the verdict be revisited and get dropped) -
One thing I was thinking about Dylan not being able to understand what JJ goes through - she was about to write those cards. JJ could never do that. He could dictate to to a scribe, but that isn't the same as being able to get your thoughts out without assistance. I have that all the time at doctor's offices. I can't write legibly - my mom acts as my scribe, will only write what I tell her to write. My dad, on the other hand, will just start writing stuff and try to editorialize.

That episode was great. I loved seeing Sarah Chalke on my TV again, especially since I rewatched Scrubs earlier this year on Netflix.
-
good, they have good place and speechless on there, that makes it a great list :D
-
Those lines were great. I think Sara Ramirez's character just hasn't had time to show the others she has singing chops - though it would've been nice if she had joined in on one of the songs they were doing and they were like "whoa she can sing too??"
-
Might go too fast

I gave him a field demotion for not attending the party with a flimsy excuse! Also, I want presidential campaign of Bess v. Senator Asshole then they probably tie or something because some state goes for a libertarian, and Bess offers Senator the VP spot
-
I imagine that everyone in JJ's school has observed JJ because he's one of their first students with a disability - so maybe they picked up the basics of reading JJ's board from watching JJ & Kenneth. Or maybe she sits behind him in a class and sees it all the time

Ooh, ooh, What about Sophie adopts Mystery Boy, then Kevin tries to win her back?
-
Way too much Dr. Sergeant Secret Agent Professor McCord.
-
What if Rebecca & Miguel adopt Mystery Boy?
-
and super unlikely, since, you know, DUI
-
The laws of physics change for super dooper geneasses!

I was wondering why the machine had so much in it - I imagine they would clean the machine out! With the free vending machine candy, Dr. Miller seems like the kind of character who would use that debug code, then put money into the machine later because she feels bad. The celebration at the end was great, though. This wasn't a bad episode, but it wasn't a great episode, I liked all of it, but it felt a bit uneven for some reason. I was just thinking it might've been nice if JJ's date had been fleshed out more, but I think it worked with how little she was fleshed out. I liked with the Jimmy-Dylan-Maya plot that he was as excited about the mailbox as he was about the car.

Hey, they're both Jersey boys, they probably had a lot to talk about!
-
She would definitely be an interesting professional advocate - but so many schools have heard of her, which might color their perception of her clients.
-
It's hard to set aside money when you have a lot of medical bills. Voc rehab can help pay for tuition and he can always milk the inspiration porn angle and get scholarships
-
Yeah, I didn't have issue with the guy who played the fake dean - I am guessing he was the bachelor. He just seemed like an actor they got to play a not-so-good actor
-
That was a fun episode. I would've liked more Jimmy & Maya stuff, but we will probably get more on them later in the season.

I think they can be placed outside of the county - but they prefer someone inside the county for fostering. I can't imagine that kid wouldn't be placed super quickly given his age and cuteness. Even Alpine to Newark is only 40 minutes, which isn't *that* far
-
He can't be in Alpine - when they showed the kid, the sign on the door said Essex County Social Services. I think he is near Montclair - it's a rich area, close enough to the city for Randall to commute (Train there, too, can go to Newark, then PATH to get to Wall St.) - but it is only, what, 25 minutes from Newark? Maybe Millburn? But still only like 20-25 minutes away. Maybe North Caldwell? The issue with Essex county is that it isn't a big county - you can go from Elizabeth (sure, a tiny bit outside of Essex, but right at the border) to Fairfield in, what, 40 minutes?
-
....How do they have a show without the main character? I can understand if they have it end, then air the Jessica spinoff right after it ends, but having it continue without Mike? Like him or not, he's arguably the main character.
-
Wow. I hope it all works out. For him and everyone under DACA
-
I believe he is legally required to, unless it is deemed something that cannot be disclosed at that time (But it has to be disclosed as soon as feasible) - as Senator Asshole is on the Intelligence committee. But it can't be discussed out in public like that - anyone could be monitoring it.

That episode was mixed. I liked Florence a lot more, but that could be because I like Tina Majorino from Veronica Mars. The harpoon was... uhhhh... well, something. I don't think physics works that way... And that book was not 7 inches tall. When watching this show, I keep imagining it as a cartoon and that is waht it is.
